When Heralds are Grandmaster ... things get weird.

In this video from Jenkins' stream, he watches a 10 MMR Treant Protector who has over 10,000 matches and is Grandmaster Tier on Dota Plus... and that's the least weird thing in this 80 minute 10 MMR game.

The GG by the weaver in the end must have been him legitimately meaning it since he's in herald and herald players just don't know how to end. To him 60 minute games must be a norm and 80 minutes is just 12% longer so he thought that this is fun since I farmed so much to actually get all my items and can actually do something he must be feeling good.

The most important thing is to minmax one aspect of the game, and that wins you games. Do if youre a dps, full build damage maybe with lifesteal. If ur offlane, all tank items maybe even just go for damage too. Support? You use alot of mana so you want INFINITE supply of it.

  • @h00db01i

perseverance rush was quite big in dota1. it probably built into a lot of good items and no mangos/clarities costing more was also a thing. the player you refer to probably didn't want to adapt, which will lose you mmr reliably. and obviously so, as without adapting (to read patchnotes), you're trying to play a different game entirely. a game which doesn't exist anymore ever since last patch dropped. such is the nature of dota, with every patch one can experience _loss_ and then go on to lose ones mmr while waiting for the next to drop. seeing the huge TI bonus money, this game truly shouldn't be _played_ but rather _be payed._ By The Poweh Of Thine Bettle Puss - O, Lawd Gawben /b Prayse!

At this point Treant might as well save for void stone. Though he might get the wrong idea and rush point booster like that Warlock did. Still MVP goes to Weaver who leaves one of the best neutral items on the ground for the enemy team.

AM is doing the right thing his pushing. By the look of his name no offense, but you are a crusader in SEA who flames the pos 1 in 10 to 12min mark skirmishes or on 8min mark. In this case AM is split pushing as an insurance if they lost that team fights. AM is a good split pusher and good at picking solo pick ups and assasinating back liners in late game.

Honestly, I do that too, but in some conditions. First is that I do it in the Bottom jungle, if my offlane is good. Also, I farm brutal camps; it is straightforward to cultivate them with this hero( he was doing it wrong). If things go well, I get my hand of Midas and meteor hammer before 11 min. I also steal their runes during this time. Then I can side push strongly. It’s usually an easy win, but only in the condition of having a good offlaner.
