I Wasn't Expecting this Start... - MLB The Show 24 Franchise (Year 2) Ep.12
Ойындар
Today we begin the MLB The Show 24 Franchise with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cards are far from being one of the weakest teams in baseball, but they do have one of the most uncertain future. This is an experienced team and one of the oldest in the MLB. Every starting pitcher is at least 32 years old. The best two position players have over 10 years experience. The Cardinals will have to rebuild this organization regardless of their success in the near future. I'm excited to work on restoring this franchise to a championship standard that they have not seen in the last decade.
On my MrHurriicaneLP channel I make sports gaming lets play series. My series focus on building teams and players from sports like baseball and football. I play games such as Madden 24, NCAA Football 14, MLB The Show 24 and more.

"6.9% strikeout rate? That is not nice." I see you, Cane.

he's gonna shit his pants when cane calls him up in the future
I like doing the prospects in the beginning because we get to see what the development looks like and can watch the rest of the episode with that in mind and envision where the players will be improvements. More immersive in my opinion
Cane with the Skyrim reference i see u
Skyrim reference mid game is peak Caane ❤ Edit: Darrell Marino looks like a straight up serial killer
Norman's 4 double game ties the major league record for doubles in one game. 48 other players have done this. Most recently Kyle Farmer and Kevin Newman.
hey cane! quick tip if you’re trying to turn the double play like at 31:14 where the fielder is close enough to the bag to take it himself you can still push triangle and it’ll have him usually take it himself then just push circle to complete it. you don’t have to manually do it the game knows

This!
Sullivan runs like George Costanza
Love the check-in for a minute or two with our prospects. Gives us an update without requiring too much screentime or (hopefully) extra work for you.
Its best to do your discovery in the international region. It tends to find more players
Saw a mr hurricane noti and dropped everything i’m doing
love this series so much.
Koepech needs a STRETCH motion…minor velo bump and take away his worst pitch
Hey Cane, just a heads up that you can see player cards from the pause menu by just pressing triangle/Y. You don’t have to go through the player stats tab or anything
Depending how your DRAFT BOARD lines up let’s see a Prospect Swap TRADE!!
Love the prospect watch at the beginning of the episode. To be brutally honest, I don’t really enjoy watching the minor league games played in some episodes, so getting g that quick recap on how some of the younger guys are playing is super nice.
Marino is 100% a generational talent
Loved seeing the Matz love here! Love this series every time man you do a great job! Loved the Opener as well hope we see more of that!
Change Sullivan run animation 😂😂
Love the arrow to the knee reference 😂😂absolute comedy lol stay classy cane
I love covering prospects at the start like that
I loved the prospect showcase at the start! You should definitely do that each episode as we wait for some of these guys to make it to the majors
Lol the Memphis Redbirds playing against the Louisville Bats with mountains in the background
Why does Sullivan run like that
Babe wake up! New CaneLP vid dropped!
My favorite series on youtube. It became my "escape from life" series.
With classic pitching, when you hold it until it vibrates you’ll get more velocity/break, but it sacrifices accuracy.
I think I read that if the prospect is 18 and the vision and disc are 5 apart that they will be a generational player. Might wanna look into Darrell Marino

Yeah I’ve seen that as well I’m 90% sure Marino is gonna be a generational prospect. I doubt he will make it to pick 15 but if he does it’s a must pick for cane! Like this comment guys so cane sees
Just keep discovering Cane!!!
How do you make it to where to can do the warm up when you bring in a new pitcher. Love the series BTW big cardinals fan.
“6,9% strikeout rate? That’s not nice”. ***Octy would like to join the conversation***
I love Skyrim and the reference made my laugh
A Skyrim reference in 2024? It's an old meme, but it checks out.
One of my biggest qualify of life improvements for the game would be if SDS would figure out how to add in season by season stats for the minor league guys.
And we back
Came with the old school meme reference 😂 forgot about arrow to the knee
Month of May is going to be very interesting, two Series against the brewers, two Series against the reds, two Series against the Nationals. Really going to learn a lot about some opponents in the month of May.
i don’t know what it is but darell marino looks like a future hall of famer
Quick counts is a breezy way to play through a game you want to. Should quicken up the pace of the series
Kopech has to be the unluckiest pitcher in the league. I know he didnt give up a run in the episode but his 1st inning a fairly weak groundball that squeaks past edman at short. Then in his 2nd gets a chopper that couldve been a dp and instead it hits him and everyone is safe. Dudes just unlucky
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥⚾
Absolutely love you diving into the minor leagues would love some more minor-league attention it’s so satisfying to see the growth and look at the numbers
In case anyone hasn’t made the reference yet, Cane played MLB the Show 22 as Sydney Jean-Charles on the St Louis Cardinals 😂😂 crazy how he’s done 2 different series with this team!!
what camera view do you use?
Michael Kopech has a high overall as a Starting Pitcher if you change he position to a Starting Pitcher
Your so focused on tink hence you forgot about Dylan lesko
I would love to see Bobby Miller pitch after you trade Arenado for him. 😉
23-0!! Daaaaaaaammmnnnnn!!!!!
In my franchise, the Braves have somehow traded for Elly De La Cruz and Bobby Witt. Pain
Marino has a strong arm (shocker given his name) so he can probably play the outfield or third
Steve Padilla has a crazy beard for an 18 year old
St Louis is so boring the ad for dead center says "Cola" instead of Coke, hahaha Love your series Cane, but I'm a Cubs fan and I can't miss the chance to talk shit to the cardinals
Marino may be generational
Seeing Dylan Carlson in Oakland feels like another lifetime now.
I need the Tink Hence scouting
Send PACHE down and change his LEG KICK. Then bring him back up in a month. See if it does anything for his career
👍👍👍
Hey Cane, I commented on your first video of the series I wish you didn’t sell so fast as a Cardinals fan. Well as a Cardinals fan I’d like to apologize for that comment as we are atrocious. I hope you forgive me lol

@frankchialastri7374 my g does that sound like a Venezuelan name to you?
man i wish you bottomed out last season and traded all the veeterans
I think you're having too much saying Nolan back to back.
Lmao Oakland lost 23-0 against you guys that explains why you played as them in last years MLB the Show
