So the reason you got thrown out at second trying to steal was because if you hold down The advanced runner button he just steals it's happened to me plenty of times trust me it's your first time it won't be your last time also your videos are incredible😂😂😂

How have they not fix that suicide bunt “glitch”

A fun couple games! A couple tips. When stealing with someone who has 90+ speed and 90+ stealing you almost never need to extend the lead. Only exception would be an elite catcher behind the plate. As for pitching with someone who throws 102, don't try and be perfect. Obviously don't try to throw it right down the middle, but it doesn't need to be on the corner as long as you're also throwing some of your off speed pitches.

Isk if this question has already been answered but you can practice ground balls in practice mode, and you can set it up so that there are runners on, you can determine how the ball is hit, it’s very flexible, I used it to practice throw timing on balls in the gaps! Highly recommend!

You can practice ground balls in custom practice. You can choose where you want the ball to get hit and what kind of contact (liner, ground ball, etc.).

You can set up the practie feature to practice defence. When you play as the fielding team, you can specify the type of hit if you want

You can find the umpire list at the bottom of the gamelog. Theyre all fictional, so dont be afraid to slander them if youd like. Would be cool to get to know the umps, since I think the game cycles between like 8 umps.

I noticed, that your catcher doesn't block any errant pitch. I think, he should work on that. In regard to fielding grounders and turning double plays. For me, playing RTTS as a 1B helped. I screwed up a few in the beginning. But now, throwing to 2nd while stepping back on the first has become second nature. I know, playing 1B is not as exciting as some other positions, but it is good practice.

Arenado has quietly been a bad hitter this season and Cane doesnt seem to realize it yet.

You're on directional hitting, right? So in those double play situations, try holding the left stick up and your hitters will hit the ball in the air more often. Also, there is a way to field a bunch of ground balls in a row. Go into Custom Practice and select full team practice. Then you can set it to be grounders, line drives, etc to one specific fielder, and you can repeat it as many times as you want

We got really lucky in Game 1. The bats *need* to be better if we want to advance. We'll see what happens

You take away the DPs in game 2, you possibly beat Philadelphia in game 2, you had a lot of great hits to start innings

The AI decision making in the 9th inning of game 1. Why would you do that? Bases loaded with 2 out in a 1 run game you try the bunt. Respect for trying it but then if it misses dont send the runners for an easy out.
