If anyone else is struggling with the infernum moon lord fight, I am doing a summoner playthrough and recently beat the moon lord, this fight is extremely difficult (as you can tell). Im not very good at giving advice, but one thing I found helpful was moving less, there are fewer phases you need to zip around your arena for than you might think. The phantasm bolts when the fight first starts and the blackhole are some of the only two attacks you need to use the whole arena for. You might think this fight is all about staying away from the boss or having enough room to dodge, but no, you should try and stay as stationary as possible, it gives you more reaction time and allows you to get more dps on his numerous parts.

Also, I would suggest against getting close to the eyes during the phantasm bolts phases, of course you can, but I find it easier to just fly around the moon lord and dodge them or tank them, in order to beat this boss I had to get adrenaline which requires a ton of concentration and the ability to dodge during the beginning lol

Mostly agree, staying on his eye during the first attack is way safer for me idk

Leave your anger for post-moonlord. That's where its all at 😲😲 I know you can do it (I made a graveyard biome when I was done with moonlord :/ )

i recomend 2 glitches, max projectile glitch(u just spam some projectile in one spot, make sure they wont despawn) and moonlord obliterating thing(u literally spam beehives in a small spot and then summon moonlord, it will deal huge amount of dmg)

Don't give up boio I know you can do it! I don't play modded but I'm sure you will defeat him, not today but maybe tommorow

You should definitely try changing platforms to stairs so you can run or them and fall through them without standing on it for 1 sec(it helps alot)

I know this is too much, but I used switching mobility/tanky accessories (of course with autopause, I have a bad gaming chair) Mobility accs like wings and boots, and tanky accs are tons of shields and damage boosting things (emblems, scopes). But if using tanky build, I need to use ufo and throw away wings and boots to give two accs slots. I used tanky build before all three eyes are destroyed and used my mobility build just to dodge those eyes later. You can try using tanky build the whole fight. EDIT: and also hammer the platforms into their stairs form, if you hold down, youll fall through them without even touching them. This will make your movement more clear. Also good luck Boio, dont give up!

idea: every time you take damage entitys multiply

I've only done master mode death mode so I can kinda feel your pain. Since my laptop was so dam laggy I fought bosses in slow motion so dodging projectiles was easy.

Dont worry about that you were so close,remeber that your perseverance and determination leaded you where are you right now, you prevailed on the bosses before even though you didn't think so and you will beat this mod eventually because you adapted to it. I bealive in you can do it Boio Boio. (I used google translate so there may be spelling mistakes)

I beat moon lord in infernum mod my experienc that i don't youse platforms for this boss and try focusing on the top eye and nearly dmg his 2 hands than try adrenalin/rage combo after taking quickli the side eyes its chunks way quicker the heart like 50% on meely (if yoused withe proper wepon and artifact) and probably more any other class so you can skip to his blackhole face not withe meely sadly but i hope its helps😅

You have to live through the moon lord dying animation for it to count

infernum moonlord is actually pretty easy if you use a true melee weapon, its very risky but it makes the fight go really fast

TIP: For True-Eye dash attack, go horizontally in one direction and then dash in the other direction. It's all about baiting the attack since most of his attacks predict your movement! Take it from someone whose done this fight twice, once, even, without armor!

What I did was destroy the central eye, then jsut sat at the bottom of the arena healing health. That portion of the fight is super easy and I never take damage. I refer health and wait until health potion sickness is gone, and adrenaline builds up. During this time I get the hand eyes super low but don’t kill them. Then when I have everything saved up, kill them and attack the heart with adrenaline. You have full health and can use a potion. It makes the fight super easy. You jsut have to dodge the eye spirals and the hand eye projectiles. It’s not difficult

@@evryon1810 I hated fighting moonlord so much. The worst bosses in the mod are skeletron, wall of flesh, calamitas clone, empress of light, (plantera sucks but just cause it's unforgiving), golem, moonlord, storm weaver, and old duke(worst one). The rest are pretty good. Old duke is the absolute worst though because it rains in its final stage and you can't see anything. I feels so unfair.

ive beaten moon lord and the next 3 bosses with the flamethrower from the frost moon, scaled it up to 700 dmg, 9-10k per second and It went easy

honestly considering you did technically kill moon lord on that one attempt i don’t think anyone would be mad if you pulled up cheat sheet and just killed it immediately, ive done infernum before and moon lord alone took me around 70 or so attempts, so i definitely feel your pain on that

I have a good idea for you, How about beating calamity but you use the catalyst mod and fight astrageldon it is a very cool boss and very weak

Maybe you should switch weapons to a different weapon because you are struggling with the vortexpopper and maybe use the gods bellows

I just used a summoner setup to DESTROY moon lord. If you are interested, press read more Okay, so get the wither blossom staff, and the resurrection butterfly. For armor, use plaguebringer armor (NOT plague reaper). For major accessories, use statis curse, and the star tainted generator. Then use the bewitching table buff and the summoner potion buff for a total of 10 minions. Now summon your wither blossoms, and the rest, butterflies. Just tried it out yesterday, IT SHREDS

KZread will recommend you to be people of you have not only a great video with a lot of interaction and long watch time vs total video time... But also that your videos in general are like this. Another video where you complain a lot and get literary nothing done... Again... Why would I as a person tell one of my friends to watch this video in particular? "it's a super difficult mod and he made some progress but didn't actually kill the boss.. He usually does after 2 to 3 episodes though!" There's nothing else to say here. You didn't show off some cool new farm or highlight a weapon or anything... You just died 20 times and complained the whole way. Every single video needs a hook, a really cool thing that makes it worth watching and recommending. Even if it's just a long form video with a calm voice and no screaming? It could be a sleep video/series since it comes out daily. I want to see you succeed, I like your content and your channel, but you also need to do your part here =).

This series would not be authentic if most of the struggle was cut out for other game play. Infernum is extremely hard. And that’s what the videos are about. I would definitely say they are worth watching. Because the win feels so much better after 2 episodes of struggle.
