Well, what if i told you there was a secret meta strategy, with an item that wasn't intended by the developer, the item is question is the penguin statue . Wires and statues are balanced by the fact that you can only use skeleton statues, or craft with these spider or corruptions statues, because every time you get a statue, it auto converts to a skeleton statue. This is where the penguin statue comes into action, Verveine, the developer forgot to make the statue auto convert to a skeleton statue, so if you mine one you get a regular penguin statue, this allows you to use the PISS (Penguin Invasion Spamming Strategy). No one is expecting you to use the PISS on them, so you can use this to your advantage, get some wires and install either a pressure plate, or a 5 second timer, and place the penguin statue on the sky, so it doesn't get instantly destroyed, if you are succesful, there should now be multiple penguins at spawn, getting slained by slimes, or players nearby. When a player find you on the middle of PISS, they will be so confused about what's going on and they will start attacking you, at that moment you need to use the penguins has meatshields, and hope they kill one, if the other player kills a penguin, that's when you need to strike, by telling them on the chat that they are monsters for killing the penguins. That will make them feel guilty, and they will surrender, giving you a victory on the battle. Take on mind that you can't PISS on everyone, because some people are heartless and won't care if they kill a penguin, in that case you will need to fight them as normal, but it's the small cost, for guaranteeing a victory on other fights. Tbh I don't think that anything is that fair in pvp, we just have to find the extra balanced hardmode ones like the nettle burst and Boulder staff to give our opponents the best experience possible

tbh assuming connection is good, bows and arrows/early game staves are one of the most balanced weaponry as you can dodge them, and they don't phase through blocks, when it comes to pvp, terraria is surprisingly balanced in pre hardmode, anything after hardmode fails to keep this balance in pvp and instead sacrifices it for the pve experience against bosses and enemies

@@he3004 Yeah, the later you get into the game, the easier it is to absolutely shred other players, when I play with a friend, we tend to just turn on pvp and fight each other, except there's a point when I start 2 shotting with things like the terrablade, as the weapons are built for incredibly tanky bosses with a lot of damage reduction, not players

This server looks so fun, too bad the lag kinda sucks being from Australia... btw: gitgud you are very handsome :)

2:32 my guess is that he is using that to check for players. Once a new penguin is able to spawn, he would know that someone is killed one below him and attack them. In fact, the reason he attacked you with the snowball cannon is probably because you killed a penguin.

Hey man question, so a lot of weapons have changed in calamity and got tons of reworks, so you should make a video encompassing post moonlord or post WoF items (in there set class) for example all post moon lord summoning weapons, or all hardmode melee weapons. (You have done these videos in the past but I think it’s time to update them if that’s cool with you) 😃
