Heyyyyyy lovelies, in this video I am creating a Christmas Epoxy Resin sphere snow globe using the sphere moulds from Let's Resin. I have always been intimidated by creating a sphere for the fear of bubbles but I wanted to try this so badly. I am using miniature inclusions purchased from Hobby Craft here in the UK a tiny Santa and Trees - I am using Craft Resin Deep Pour Resin and Let's Resin 4 hour cure to create this

I don't mind tiny bubbles in a snow scene; it just looks like snow! :) This idea is absolutely adorable and yes you hit the nail on the head with Santa's position in the "snow" !!♥

It does look like snow!
These are so cute. To get the Santa the same level as the trees, measure the distance from the bottom of the tree to the entrance of the mold, then build his platform to that height. Instead of using hot glue to fix the platform to the stick that suspends it, use removable mounting putty. Instead of spraying alcohol into the mold to help get the casting out, use soapy water. It works the same and doesn't dry out the mold like alcohol can.

I just tried out mounting putty for a project and it worked great! I had forgotten I had it and found it when I was trying to organize.

They are too cute ❤❤🎉🎉😊
His feet look great! 😍 It actually looks like his boots crushed the snow down, leaving him in a little depression the way snow would look. Fantastic job Claire 👏
Adorable! 😍I make “sticks”out of UV resin and attach those to the item and a popsicle stick. Then I snip off excess if needed, but they pretty much disappear in the pour.

What a great idea. I will try that the next time I make a night light 😊.
This Santa dome is so very enchanting. The little tree is so very cute, too. Great job!!
I love them n think the bubbles give it snow globe character 😊
When I’m using deep pour, I submerge my mold in warm/hot water for the first few hours. Really reduces the chance of any bubbles remaining. Love your spheres, note I’m going to make a few for Christmas❤
A bit of a jooosh 😂😂😂❤️ aw Claire! Luv ya! 🤣What a lovely project 🥹
I’m in love. So cute. I love his feet I the snow. Living the Christmas vibe. Thank you
😮omg that’s just so good Claire. What a great job on them I’m petrified of doing a sphere.
Sooooo Cute! Yep, it looks like he's stepped in powdery snow and he just sank in there ... Thanks for this vid, it's perfect!!
Hey Claire, these turned out soooo cute. If you put a light on the other side of the mold you should be able to see through it. Should help you gage where things are. Could also use fishing string and a stick. Scared me when all of them came off, but glad it turned out.
Your excitement is infectious! It always had me smiling😊 When you said Santa looks smushed, I laughed out loud at the thought of looking up for a way out
Your enthusiasm is entirely contagious 💕 love these and as a new subscriber that may have binge watched a few of your posts, I’ve yet to see anything that isn’t adorable 🥰
Oh these are super cute!!! The little bubbles just add to it looking like snow!! Love these, you nailed it lovely!!
I love hearing your excitement. Congratulations on your success.
Wow, you can see some bubbles but it fits with Santa. I like them both❤❤😊
Those bubbles look like snow crystals they add to santa. I love it!
How adorable! We brought the trees and Santa today, but hubby has earmarked them for his lanterns!
I like the air bubbles, as they remind me of fine snow flakes blowing in the wind .😊💕⛄🎄
It couldnt be anymore perfect. It looked like there is fresh snow and he sunk down in it. It looks authentic. The trees were perfect. If I tried this, there'd probably be bubbles just at the tips, lol. I just love these little globes. Heres a challenge. Try making these globes where one can add the glycerin and water and make a snow globe or sprinkle snow flake confetti in these globes where they are falling in the background. Or just all around. Suspended throughout the resin. I can see it. I'm not sure if Im coming across as such. All these are just suggestions or take it as a challenge. Your work is beautiful and stay positive as the person that you are. Peace Love Joy and Harmony✌🏼❤️🎶😊🙏🏼
These are so adorable! Turned out amazing. Santa's boots in the snow turned out perfect .
They are the cutest things I've seen made for Christmas so far! I love them so much❤❤❤ You did a great job😊
Happy little accidents! I think these both are adorable, but that snow around Santa's boots! So cute.
What a cute idea! Made the first spheres we ever made today. Three different sizes to make a snowman! I can’t wait to see what they look like! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Wow, this is just wonderful.. I love the way his feet have sunk into the snow.. Its great 👍
Both came out sooo good! ❤❤❤I can tell how excited you are, it's infectious!😂
The little bubbles look like snow. ❤❤
I love how both spheres turned out, you really had nothing to fear after all 💜
I love it Claire, very nice round piece 👌. Santa looks like he happy to be among the little trees 🌳
🎉This is absolutely Adorable!! I enjoyed watching the whole video and listening to you figure out how to work out everything. 😊😊
When I do anything where I struggle to see inside the mold, I use a high powered torch/ flashlight behind it & it makes it easier to see what you're doing. That was a beautiful sphere 🤗
I LOVE these! They are adorable 🥰 You're right, it is scary when doing spheres and 'dangly' stuff! Any encapsulation really!! That little tree though!! 🥰🥰 I have found that spraying the inside of the mold with alcohol before you fill it up helps with eliminating the surface bubbles. Doesn't cure the problem totally, but definitely helps. I spray all my molds with nooks and crannies with alcohol first, it definitely helps xxx
It looks like he really is standing in real snow! I love it!
Hi Claire, I use the clear acrylic sticks if it's too heavy for a nylon string as if you have to leave them in they're virtually invisible. If I want to temporarily stick something down I'll use double sided sticky tape. It's usually strong enough.
Ohhhhh, so stinking cute! These are both so much fun. Great job, hun. xoxooxo
First video I watched of yours and OMG I could hear your happiness. New sub here. I usually don't comment but I had to let you know that you did very good and I'm sure I'm not the only one who could hear the excitement and happiness in your voice.
Absolutely nailed it Claire. Fantastic!!!
YAY!! PERFECT Santa and tree spheres! 😘💕😊👍 They are adorable! 😍❤ Yes, after pouring the clear resin, just use the vacuum chamber. Should be plenty of room to let the resin bubble up and the air bubbles pop, without spillover.
OMG…. Those are so frogging cute!!!!!
OMG.....so so cute Claire, I love them❤❤ You did a great job!
Awwww so cute good job Claire don’t know what you were scared of 🤷♀️ lol! ❤
I adore these! So cute ❤ Tie some fishing line to the boots and around a thinner stick to give you more room. Once you pour the white you won’t see the bit of line that’s attached to the boot. Also I think Santa made those bubbles… either by farting 😂 or his porous body. I would seal him in pva or modge podge. I’m loving them… and although it’s May I’m getting inspiration for Christmas fairs! 🎄🎅🏻🌲
When I want to have item in middle of sphere - I use fishing line. I use UV resin to attatch 2 lines of thin clear filament. Then I tie that to a craft stick and secure to stick with glue once I'm sure of depth. The filament is hard to see in resin. And I can see inside mold fairly easily. I think I learned that from Steve MacDonald and previous puppet making.
He's so adorable!!! Thank you 😊😊
These are just the cutest decorations!!!
How brilliant these turned out! Well done 👏
Perfection! You are so brave. I wish I had that confidence to attempt this. Gorgeous Claire!
These are adorable. Well done❄️🌨️
Invisible thread works well for suspending objects.❤
I missed it 😢 had to work late.. 👏👏👏👏 perfect snow globe… they always give me a warm tingling feeling ❤❤❤
Amazing outcome! You lucked out on the sticks coming off too!
I would put tape or draw a line on the outside of the mold to mark where the bottom of the trees and Santa's boots should be at.
They both turned out really cute
Congrats on your santa he looks awesome!❤❤❤
These turned out great!!!! Ill have to see if i can still get the pieces. One thing I've found that helps when using alcohol to demold is to spray some alcohol on at least two sides, then squish it around and let it sit for a minute or two. Those sphere molds come out so easy then! I also use a bowl with a towel over it when demolding, or just a towel on the counter so the items don't go flying out too far.
Those are both so cute! I love them! They really turned out amazing!
This is adorable, Claire!!
They both look super cute. ❤❤
WOW! 🙏Thank you for sharing! 💕Absolutely love love love these!
I love the micro bubbles, it looks like snow! Well done Claire, another winner ❤ snow globes gifting 🎉
Maybe put a little large white glitter in the clear to make it look like it's snowing and camouflage the bubbles a little.
Look awesome like snow globe's love them. Thanks Debby
They are both cute, and the bubbles make it look like it is snowing.❤❤❤
omg these turned out SO cute! not gonna lie, I had no idea what you were doing!😂 I'm such a newbie!😂
Look at those..they turned out great. Totally understand u freaking out, its alot of work for it to look like crap..but u did it and I learnt something lol well done x
Adorable, little tip next time hest the glue up a bit will come off easier
Aww these are so cute 🎅⛄️🎄❄️🦌🕯️❤️💚🤍
Hi Claire, when I've made a platform ti sink items I also glue items to lolly sticks and to build it up I use a screw through the over lapping lolly stick through the others, drill a hole through the sticks before adding the screw or the sticks might spilt...... I hope this tip helps you or anyone else..... Happy new year to you Treacle 😘xx
Hey there. Great idea
I wonder how you were able to make his boots look like there is a drift! So perfect!
OMG ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS
Those turned out so cute!❤❤❤
Viewing from the caribbean adorable well done ☃️❄☃️
Love it. It's so cute Claire. 😊❤
Holy moly! These both turned out fantastic! Let me say that the bubbles on Santa look like snowflakes a bit. Awesome job! I would have used tape to build the thing Santa was standing on. But great job! 👏🏻 I love them both. Thank you! ❣️ 🎅 🎄
This is an amazing project, well done xx ❤
You have great ideas and really enjoy watching take care
Super cute Claire!! ❤❤
This is so dang cute! ❤❤❤
Just adorable!!! Good job, I also have sphereaphobia…. Lol
Hahaha! Oh, I love them very much ❤❤❤ x
These look fab Claire!
Ps. I love your energy & the way you do your videos🤗
Turned out great! I think the heat mat was the problem. The resin cured faster so the chance for bubbles to rise out of the resin was shortened. Perhaps not using the heat mar next time?
Very CUTE!! I think the Santa one looks like he's leaning up to the sphere, to fog it up with his breath!! 😅 That's what I see when I look at it. 😊 Do you make any snow globes??!! I LOVE snow globes. Sorry, I just recently found your channel. I like your energy...I'm a new subbie!! I'll have to binge-watch some of your vids!!
I am going to make them and and add a eye pin ribbon and put them on my tree. Thanks clare x❤
Just love watching your channel. 😊
Any type of clear string would be good to dangle a piece in resin and tell you get the first part cured. Also with a clear mold you can use a flashlight to better see inside to see if it’s lined up properly.
I llove them, but thought to myself, if only she'd added a little bit of glitter so it actually looked like a snow globe inside with the glitter falling like snow! There's white mica or the kind of holographic mica that would have worked, too. Again, that was just a thought for your next try at making a Christmas-y globe!
These are so cool and a great idea for Christmas .Actually you could even do them for Birthdays or mementos of something like a wedding Anniversary ..So really they can be really used for more than just Christmas so you can get more use out of them.I loved the trees in the background too, they turned it into a lovely scene 🥰
Absolutely adorable
I have a thought, tie a long piece of thin jewelry wire to Santa's feet then to the popsicle stick. When cured cut off the wire an continue to fill. Have a Blessed day.
Love it, so sweet 😍😍😍😍😍. Great regards from Germany 😊😊😊.
That is amazing ! Love them ❤❤❤😊
These are super cute ❄️🎄🎅
Clear fishing line and uv resin. I have a cauldron stand i put over and egg. I uv resined the fishing line to the item and to a skewer (popsicle stick) at a correct length to hang into the mold and let sit.
I love this. It is absolutely beautiful.
😊Great job! ❤❤ this was tricky and you mastered it!
Absolutely adorable 😊
