Update .. were there any pegs ? 🤣🤣 it would seem that some of you did not get pegs with your moulds .. I may or may not be losing my mind 🤣 I am sure these came with a small bag of tassles and I was assuming they were pegs. Can I find them ? No .. have they disappeared? Yes .. I have turned my craft room upside now and now feel like I am living in a twilight zone 🤣🤣 I have contacted Let's Resin and organised to get some more ... please tell me how things disappear after seconds of having them in your hand ? Lol

Thank you for speaking on the importance of a respirator & gloves- also, you should always be using & curing it with circulation! Even when it doesn’t have a scent!

If all else fails; read the instructions. These are gorgeous. Red snowflakes is an amazing idea. Way too go Claire.

Thank you for emphasizing protective gear, I actually unsubscribed to a channel because I couldn't bear to watch someone get resin sickness, who barely wore gloves let alone a respirator mask but constantly sniffling and raspy while never getting better, which is totally avoidable!

I use resin in my garage with a fan blowing out at all times. I wear gloves and there is constant air flow. The garage is really small anyway and there's a window so none of it even gets in our faces. Anyway, I can't believe people use resin in their houses! And don't use gloves! Blows my mind.

I have the 2 outer molds that you show. I love that large center one! I've found if I can get a couple of drops of isopropyl alcohol between the mold and resin and then squish it around, the snowflakes pop right out!

Claire, you crack me up! 😆🤣I just love how human you are! We call that either a blonde moment or a brain fart. I get them now and then. Things usually make more sense if you read the instructions. Love the Hemway glitter as well. I have both the black and the silver holographics. They are the best! 🎄🦌⛄❄️🎅🤶💙

Peg or no peg, they are still lovely! 😃 I love the red and white combo but this year my tree will be silver and black.

The big white one would look amazing with two different mica powders painted into the mold

OMG these are gorgeous, that red glitter is amazing. It might be too late to comment on your peg situation but they are already on the molds next to the actual hole, there are 2 on either side of the hole. You have your right thumb on it @ 0.38...you just need to cut them out with your blade carefully. I have a couple of those molds and that's what I did, they fit perfectly😅.

I did not get pegs or tassels. I got small chains, but I think those came with the gorgeous reindeer that you did. I've never worked with resins, but you got me hooked to get started. I've ordered the molds, good place to start ~ Thank you for your videos~

Use UV resin to add a necklace bail to give you a hole for ribbon.

Those are beautiful claire. I have the same set I just recently got them, I am here in the United States. And I didn't read the directions either as usual! And I wound up having to drill the holes as well. The only difference is I don't remember seeing a package of Tassels and silicone pegs in the box that I got but they were probably there and I just didn't see them probably wound up in the trash can who knows. Anyway love the way yours turned out, I used the chameleon powders to make mine and I like them also. Keep up the good work Merry Christmas

Claire, thank you for the inspiration and information. I really love the red glitter. All of the molds are very beautiful, and I want to see your tree when you have it fully decorated. I just started fluid art in July 2021. I started making resin coasters spring of 2022. I bought Christmas ornament molds this fall and was going to start making some today for next year. I definitely want these molds to add to my collection. And I want that red glitter too. Great video and thank you for emphasizing ppe safety.

Great video my set didn't have the silicone plugs and they don't mention silicone plugs in the instructions

Mine didn't come with the pegs but I already have a small hand drill. My husband is into figure collections and a kit we got him for sanding and fixing etc for them came with a electric nail filer (shaper) and a hand drill for you to twist and make holes using the right size. So I was ok for that.

So beautiful 😍😍 I have to wonder what might happen with a bit of red colour in your resin with the glitter. Or maybe a little white glitter mixed in too

I did the same thing with my snowflake molds! I was questioning how to keep the hanger hole open! I used a toothpick on one of them and couldn't get the toothpick out! Then after making, and then drilling a bunch of holes, I saw a video where the peg was popped out of the top of the mold! You see where those 2 straight lines are on the top of the molds? I think those are the pegs! Mine didn't come with instructions.

I think what I would do if these have a flat back and they would fit on one of you plain ornaments I'd make them and glue these to them if that make sense at all

These turned out gorgeous! I should be getting my molds in today from amazon! So exciting! I was wondering if you have tried Jesmonite in these molds yet and if so, how did they turn out? I’m in the US, so it’s hard to get our hands on Jesmonite, but I did find an equivalent at a store here called Five Below and I’m going to try that out with one of these molds.
