I was going so FAST I landed in the DITCH
Спорт
Rollerblading on 3x125mm is fast. So when I went skating with my Powerslide Zoom 125 setup, I bombed down a hill and went even too fast. So fast I had to choose between sliding out or riding into a ditch. I went for the ditch. No harm done: I happily continued urban skating with my friends Huub and Yves, with whom I explored a couple of new spots.

So much fun! Love how you all made the most of the surroundings
Epicness mode : ON!
Nice vid! Was a great session! What a dope water shots!! ❤
🔥🔥🔥🔥love your content brother. puts me in a very cool mood...
The 125mm look fun, until I hit a slope. My stopping ability isn't good enough for the speed. In addition to skates, i'm thinking of getting is a 22 inch BMX. They are slightly bigger than the ones from the 90s. The brand 'We The People' do some great bikes.
Salut compatriote belgien, tes images sont superbes

When you carve in high speed, your outside foot must stay parallel with your inside foot or overtake slightly to reduce the speed. If you see at timestamp 2:30, your inside foot stay too much at front . That's why you end up in a ditch. Watch your friend with the long hair doing it at timestamp 2:25. He's really good at it

@@fathimukhlisrozali5049 My speed was just too high for that sharp turn: my wheels were starting to slide. Huub was going slower. 😉

@@TheRollingRaptor You watch carving video series from @Natan Swiss Rollerschool. He did explained if your inside foot get too much in front at high speed it will start to slip under you due to inertia in direction at high velocity. at low velocity it works if your feet in scissor when turning position because you dont carry as much momentum as when you're at high velocity. I did the same mistake as you before and learned from natan video. next time you try to experiment to be as parallel as you can or if you can overtake the inside foot slightly it feels like you doing a mini soul slide and it will slow down a lil bit at tight turn.

@@fathimukhlisrozali5049 I know how to do that turn, did it dozens of times at high speed, but that day I was going even faster than usual and I was paying too much attention to the camera. 😉

@@fathimukhlisrozali5049 And of course I know the trick of using your outer foot for braking, but the point was trying to go as fast as possible. That was just a little too fast for that turn. In this video, the carving was more successful: kzread.info/dash/bejne/g3p819ibmKibaJM.html

@@TheRollingRaptor In your other video you're using 6 wheels frame. Even it's rockered, you have 6 points of contact when you carve on your inside and outside edges plus a longer wheelbase. In this video you're using tri skate meaning you have 3 points of contact only. That's why you losing grip easily. If you see serious downhill skater, they rarely use tri skate because of this reason. And another thing your carving technique is much better in the other video. But maybe I am wrong and perhaps @natanlakonishok could read our conversation and chime in his opinion. Anyway I am kinda like you. I love doing tight turn at high speed. It give me such a rush and I understand when you said you wanna try to go as fast possible without slowing down. You kinda lucky you slide out at grass. I slide out once like you at bad asphalt and took some skin off me lol.
Video reported to youtube moderators. There are kid watching for Christ's sake! you can't show bearing torture like that!
