The last game against cam had me locked in haha. I like the mix between explaining a little bit but also locking in. I’d love to see a 1s grind in the future…maybe after Copenhagen 🤔

I know it wasnt the result you boys were looking for but you gave vitality one hell of a run for their money, congrats on a great split Slater

Congratulations on a good showing in Swiss on the 2nd day. The first day definitely had some nerves for your younger teammates but definitely they showed up as a team on day two. Y'all have nothing to hold your head down about took vitality to the wire. The taste of top 8 worlds was so close I'm sure y'all will grind but don't forget to have fun in that grind that's what makes it worth it.

It always amazes me of the fact that its so hard for pros to find 1s games, queue'ing for 10-30mins. That there are so few people around their mmr that its borderline impossible.

It's just Psyonix being stupid, though, it's entirely in their hands to add either a hard limit and pool everyone above, say, 1650 to have equal priority or have it ramp up more quickly. They've set on a matchmaking algorithm that works kinda most of the time, but have refused for almost a decade to just make a tiny adjustment that takes five minutes to massively increase their most involved fans' and pros' quality of life. Sites like Lichess do this already, you can even hand-pick the range you want to go up against from I think 300 below to 300 above, which would be equivalent to roughly 200 in either direction in RL.

About the servers, could be over here in EU as well. One game the opponents had a terrible ping and accused me of lag switch, the game after I had a bad connection.

Not sure if you will see this but I have the same issue with ping on here. For me it’s only ever on servers that are all numbers. Some servers are all numbers with a dash and some are named and those for me are fine. Idk what it is with those specific servers but it’s literally every time I get one of those my ping is trash

Retals, I've been a big fan, but seeing the lack of creativity year after year is frustrating. Get in the air and train for consistency; every great team today had elite ball control on the ground but in the air as well. The creativity/happiness will come if you train with specific consistency goals and take risks in ranked. "Turn weaknesses into strengths" - MJ, Bruce Lee and Arnold all said this.

SSG isn’t there, so it is impossible to say whether or not they would have performed better than LG. This team does not have much LAN experience (besides Retals ofc). I believe this is Cheese’s first LAN ever so nerves may be getting to them. But as we know LG always goes 3-2 in Swiss😅
