Actually from an outsider looking in I think you were born to perform and find comfort when you are doing just that! You have something there and need to keep at it if you want to go to the top! You will always have analytic critics who only can pick at what you're doing but not do it themselves. If anything join up with some other folks and do the covers and start touring because your spot on with the songs you cover. I think you will go places if you have a whole band behind you with your voice. When I was younger and in music I wanted to do it all myself I had a drum machine synthesizers guitars and a 16 track tascam recorder.. I got radio time with my tapes and was the life of every local party but really couldn't get out of that rut and go any further.. not everyone can do it all themselves not everyone is Prince or Aldo Nova!
