I Was Advised The Wrong Size! | Pinarello Dogma F (Crystal White) | Oompa Loompa Cycling 160
Спорт
Soo Ling and her Pinarello Dogma F, a tale of bike sizing challenges and the pursuit of the perfect ride. Soo Ling initially faced a setback when advised the wrong frame size from her bikefitter, leading her on a quest for the ideal fit. Discover how she navigated this hurdle with the help of Hymn_PNS from Thailand, who played a crucial role in securing a replacement frame.
But the story doesn't end there-Soo Ling decided to take her Pinarello Dogma F to the next level by customizing her ride with a set of stunning Princeton CarbonWorks wheels. The wheels, meticulously handpicked and custom painted to match the bike in a striking white color with a touch of blue on the OSPW (Oversized Pulley Wheel System), showcase both style and performance.
Tune in to hear Soo Ling's firsthand account of the challenges she faced, the expertise of Hymn_PNS in finding the perfect replacement frame, and the aesthetic and functional enhancements brought to her ride with the bespoke Princeton CarbonWorks wheelset.

Not only bike shops. Many other shops also.
So nice to hear a newer cyclist and how they enjoy cycling. It's about style, fun with friends and getting out and exercising and enjoying riding! Not everything has to be about racing, and that's ok. I like this lady's whole outlook.
Lots of "don't know" and couldn't tell difference between Aethos and Dogma F. I can only say "all the gear but no idea". 😅 Doesn’t matter though, as long as she enjoys it and riding, that's all that matters.

Someone have to help keep the bike shop alive 😊.
i have never seen someone pull of the "non cycling glasses" on a roadbike like this lady! 100% stylepoints

Very stylish indeed 😎
Definitely nice bike no doubt about it.. But she is easily talked into spending money on all the fancy parts - not sure if really necessary 🤔 Looks like a $35,000 SGD build???...😮
That is a very nice looking bike. I personally have no style, but I appreciate it when I see it.
Black wheels would’ve looked much better for me. Personal preference though so all good.
Wah, the bike looks almost the same as my Fusion bike, I love it, same same.
That was excellent!! Lovely interview and *VERY dope bike build. I loved her response with the “Tacky Vs. stylish” question. Regarding style, you either got it or you don’t 🤣🔥😎 #RobbArmstrong
very nice bike
If I was in her place and got a wrong size frame that cost this much then I guess I'd get a stroke
Its great she ended up with a bike she loves and she is cycling. But this whole story sounds bizarre man. I count 4 different retailers, the shop in Europe where she got the small frame from, OBA, Cycleworks, and the guy from Thailand. Then there is this one bike fitter who apparently advised her the wrong size? I feel like she just needs to deal with one reliable bike shop / mechanic / fitter and her life will be much easier
She can ride 43 just need a longer stem and raise the seatpost. Very nice and awesome looking bike though

That's the first question on my head. Longer stem, higher saddle look cooler. Lol.

Can raise with spacers. With 3x10mm, no way can be low.

is it windy where she rides ? Bling Bling, but 'll go out on a limb and say I'd never put a newest rider of her stature on a deep front rim.
That is the way I like mine set up
Fashion victim 😮
43.5 cm 🤙 is my choice, over 46cm. . I think the bike fitter wàs thinking the lower range suits the dogma F . The dog ma ❤️ is one of the 👌 best
pina with bora ultra 60 is the best combination
What is her height by the way? And her cockpit stem setup? Planning to buy pina frame for my partner.

She mentioned 164cm
Never heard of size 43.5 or 46 for Pina 😅
I love the pinarello I have had enough of people telling me Chinese bike s r shit I love them
6 months cycling wait. 😂 Singaporeans have whole Malaysia to drive into and get a great second hand bike.
This bike needs THM crankset
oompa, whats the deal with the long intros?
I have a 54 in sted of 52 I don't like the seat to high I love 54 I am only 170 tall

@@royanderson3478 Ya, but her front stack will be high.
Not just that this fitter was doing weird stuff, the whole concept is wrong. You should get a fit and then find the bike that works for you. NOT choose a manufacturer/frame and then find which of their size can get there. It's the backwards way of bike fitting. Stem is too short, too many spacers, needs shorter crank
needs silver components
Higher seat is no right

Higher seatpost looks 👌 🔥 pro. I'm good on medium ( 54 cm), but choose a 52cm or 51 cm. I like a higher seatpost. I just think it looks really "dope."
@bentan6218

I believe is not just abt the seatpost. If you are not flexible like the pro, the front stack will be too high and it will look ugly. 😅😊 That why, sometimes a racing geometry will not fit everyone. 😂
do you need a stepson? haha

This white look won't age well, especially on a dogma
I think SEA is THE problem with the world of cycling industry. The willingness to overpay is just crazy, seems to me its not about the sport really, more about what you get seen on. Please don't try to convince us that this lady needs a £15-20k+ Dogma F for whatever she needs to get done. Do you have any idea what prices were before cycling became big in SEA? Im thai me self, and its a complete sh*tshow, never seen so many s-works that was not able to push over 250w....
