dicks like this dude shouldn't be forgiven, there'e tons like him who fucked Felix up with their bullshit comments and spreading hate around, and him and fucks like him coming out to apologize, just so they don't get left out, since Felix is the spotlight. Anyhow, that's how I feel, and apparently 6.2K others too.
I can respect what this video is about. It takes a lot of courage to admit you're wrong. Wall Street Journal needs to change their name now. They're the Wall Street Tabloid.
1) The Wall Street Journal DOES GET IT. They DO know that Pewd is a comic. They DO understand that he's being ironic and sarcastic. They're not retarded. They're VICIOUS. They don't care what Pewdiepie's motivations are. They don't care whether he's harmless or not. They don't care if he's a "nazi" or not. What they care about, is having a target. These people look for targets. This IS their job. They look for targets to attack. Pewdiepie is a BIG FUCKING TARGET. So they achieved exactly what they set out to do, and we should expect them to do it again. 2 ) He wasn't wearing a SS uniform. It was a British Officer Uniform. Nazis uniforms weren't green.
@bobby3008bul

If they knew what they're doing, that means they're complete idiots. Pewd get ton of new subscribers cause of this, and the WSJ (or "the SJW" as they're known now) gets trashed from everywhere. Doesn't sound like a good strategy to me. They managed to stay away from the fake news narrative until now, but they're going to be labeled from now on as "race baiters", just like NYT, CNN, Washington Post, Huff and so on.

Oscar Cabrejos your point is? They didn't get what they wanted, it may have seemed like that at first, but now everyone is on his side. Only time will tell how screwed pewdiepie really is, if he is anyway. This attack probably won't even do anything to him
@blueorangeblossom
7 жыл бұрын
Well, the wsj, the 3 authors in particular who attacked him are people who I think are very jealous of pewdiepies success. Not only do they hate him for being successful but pewdiepie was starting to wake up to the truth and that makes him dangerous. He had to be destroyed. The Disney thing cost him millions of dollars. They intentionally tried to slaughter him, not just for clicks, bc he was woke.
@Sorarixicaric

I kinda want to see felix go after wall street and sue them for defamation they did cost him a lot of stuff by spreading bullshit with the intent to ruin his career he has the video's as proof. If he goes after them, and he wins it would restore his rep and completely destroy wall streets and potentially put them into the dirt. I want him to win more so for freedom of speech and to not give into the politically correct radicals trying to force their opinions and beliefs on people like some shitty crusade with no actual reason.

Of course they wont, their (the media, reactionary governments, and sponsored in-too-deep corporations) agenda is to TAKE BACK the information highway they once had a monopoly on, something that the creation of the internet caused a fracturing in. If they (again, the media) fail to recover from this? It's officially over. It will literally be the death throes of the MSM, as the internet will officially eclipse television in credibility, entertainment, and possibilities of and for employment. In other words, Mr Reviewcuck here HAD to apologize, because he knew he was wrong, but his apologizing would essentially tell his liberal or leftist / cucked fanbase / audience that he's officially siding with the "alt" media by believing pewdiepie, and by believing US, over people that work in the mainstream news outlets - like for instance, the WSJ. Him apologizing is him tacitly admitting he's slightly redpilled, and that he can take a nazi joke without being offended on behalf of jewish people who're not even fucking offended by the jokes themselves. Him apologizing in this fashion is essentially his formal apology to US, to youtubers, for not trusting US, and opting to trust the MSM. If he didn't make this video, I'd be willing to bet my right tit that he'd lose subscriptions faster than the hairline receded on his bald ass head. This is how you save face. However, whether or not it was actually just a stunt to appeal to the "logical" side of youtube is yet to be seen, but for now all we can do is take the man at his word until his actions prove otherwise.

@tracep.9900
7 жыл бұрын
I am going to repeat myself kiddo. Not how the world works. You can white knight him all you want. He was someone who millions watched mostly children and teens. Saying "If he was jewish his actions would of been okay" doesn't magically mean there's an acceptation. Honestly, one of the most immature comments i've read, and the worse justification for pewdiepie's behavior. get out of mommy's basement and actually talk to people before trying to say "If he was this, then it's okay"
@tracep.9900

You are the worse immature brat anyone would have the displeasure of dealing with. You are also incredibly narrow minded and clearly have no interaction with any human being outside the internet. Justifying your argument with expletives doesn't help your white knighting

btw, the answer to your question is no. or rather, you can sue them for libel but in court they squeal like a sty full of pigs about the second amendment. the case then becomes about constitutional law, very tricky. different court, different lawyers, different rules, and you are shit out of luck. "what? the land of the free? whoever told you that is your enemy." rage against the machine
@fellow575

Mega Fudge Bernie Sanders will sue wallstreet.
@ctuallynice
7 жыл бұрын
Keyser Söze You CAN sue them for libelous statements. The constitution creeds that we have the right to freedom of speech and freedom of the press, as long as it does not inhibit a person or persons from their own rights to the pursuit of happiness. Slander is more permeable, as it's spoken and most often, not recorded, but in the case of spreading "bad press" and falsifying information in order to decrease the value of another's work, especially in written, public, mass media form...you're fucked. Especially with the hype surrounding the case, and the publicity of mass media platforms (YT and WSJ, Disney), he has all evidence laid out for them to see. The companies have the right to remove their support, but they can't fire a contracted employee unless the employee in question violated the terms of the contract or company policy, which, Felix did not. So, in terms of how it would go down in court? Wall Street would opt for a public apology, the removal of all libelous material, and a cash settlement.
The problem isn't fake news, it's ppl like you jumping the gun without geting full context. And taking other ppl's opinion and using it as your own rather then building one yourself. What's worse is you say you ahd this happend to yourself, didn't you learn anything from that?

And then he went through all of Jesus's videos and saw the Hitler thing (commissioned by someone else) and he was like "oh."
I was very disappointed with your initial reaction, and I'm so impressed that you have the balls to make this video.

Unfortunately with current sociopolitical climate it has become a rarity. Most journomachos (because they can't really be called journalists and no, gender doesn't matter to be considered a "journomacho") keep telling same idiotic thing, even after they're proven wrong. Some of them take it back when backlash gets big enough, but it also becomes rarer and rarer. I think it's because of the disease that is political correctness and social studies (a.k.a. SJW echochamber).

Good on you for calling yourself out. I still really don't get how you make a video critiquing something without making sure you've got the full context, that's a real bad sign for someone who has review in their name.

WSJ strangely has the same letters for SJW. Coincidence? I think not.
To be fair, I don't think they ruined him. If anything they ruined themselves. Younger generations of people who are aware on KZread and on other forms of media will know what the WSJ did. They will begin to lose even more trust in traditional forms of media and eventually respected forms of media will be untrusted. KZread RED's show being cancelled and disney's maker studio cutting ties doesn't really hurt him that much, it just hurts his fans.

jjboog45 I don't want to be technical. Fake news is appropriate because instead of including certain facts that would allow the reader to see that Felix was using Nazi imagery satirically, they they made it seem like he's an anti Semite. That kind of story will get more attention and they know that. They don't care that he's not actually an anti Semite and they don't care that they slandered him and made him loose Disney's endorsement. They just printed the story anyway.

In short no. People who are saying he should sue just dont understand how specific the grounds for slander are. You are not if you call someone a Nazi except when you are making a literal claim about them being in the Nazi party cause ultimately Nazi in it's common usage is just a pejorative, and where or not something using Nazi imagery is anti-semetic is a statement of opinion and not a statement of fact. If there was a legal case lawyers would be lining up at his door begging the case.
@kevinmoehring8259

i think youre right, and im no law student... but. there might be some small ground to stand on for the argument that he could sue. i wonder what the scenario would be, if he could prove that perhaps Disney or KZread dropped him as a response to the WSJ article and its publicity and not because of the content itself.
