I was tasked with writing a paper for an English class about how my father influenced my life. Problem was I never knew my father. Instead I wrote about the horrible men my mother had been in and out of relationships with and how they influenced my life by teaching me how to not treat people and gave me examples on the kind of man I did not want to become. I aced that assignment, but it goes to show you that while you can have a really negative childhood and terrible, terrible people in your formative years, you are who makes you who you are. Yes, it is hard and it isn't always as simple as just saying "I won't be this way." However, if you can say, "I am this way because..." there is nothing stopping you from saying, "I am not this way because...". :)

Well, Success is WARMER,but I would say, JESUS is the #WARMEST. When this world goes into utter Chaos, not even your Success nor your money would help you escape that Tribulation, but only the ✝️SALVATION ✝️ through the Blood of JESUS 🙏😇. Humans Die, but that's not the END of out lives. There's Hell waiting for us beyond our lives on earth because of our SINS. , And it's the most Horrifying place that Humans shouldn't go to. But GOD loved us so much that He didn't want us to perish in the Hell. Which is why, He sent His SON to pay the Price(punishment) which should have been rightfully ours'! And that price is the COSTLIEST. Which is BLOOD. JESUS shed literally every drop of His blood and died for us on Cross. And rose back to life on 3 rd day, promising that He would rise everyone who believed in Him and washed his/her sins with His(JESUS') blood , just thebway He rose back from dead. And said, all those Accept Him as their SAVIOR would LIVE ETERNALLY even though they died ! But all those DENY Him would Perish in Hell 🔥 forever! He is coming soon to SNATCH AWAY all His FAITHFUL (RAPTURE). Leaving all the UNBELIEVING n UNREPENTANT to Utter Chaos during when Half of the LEFT BEHIND population would Die terribly. REPENT n ACCEPT Him soon before it's too late. Because, Crying n rolling on Ground wont help in Hell. God Bless you 🙏😇❣️

100%! This is why you see guys like this (Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc) turn into big muscular brickhouses because as kids they were too weak to fight back or do anything against their aggressors, especially when it's their father, someone who they're supposed to look up to and be looked after by. This big build for them is their armour, their protection and their safety. May these men be blessed and continue the work they do.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought that. I hate it when they add music or something that takes away the attention of what's trying tho be shown. I feel that silence is what really brings out the true emotions in these types of moments. Music and stock videos just ruin what the person/moment was trying to tell us/express itself. It's only on rare occasions the added music makes the moment more powerful, but it wasn't necessary here.

Look at every other civilization, the aliens, they are all One. Giving each other unconditional love , who do we only get that from ?? Our mothers, aside from that everyone else cares for for themselves, imagine if we never let anyone down , if you dont know something I'll tell you about it , why?? TupacShakur ......Your focus in life is very different when you become successful. Most likely you are surrounded by other successful people. It is very easy to hide behind what you have achieved. In most cases you have more than enough money to live a comfortable life style. You focus on YOU and nothing else. You become blind to the fact that others are still struggling. You say you won’t forget, however when those checks start coming in it is very easy to turn a blind eye. I have been on both sides of the coin. One day when you become successful you will not forget others that are still trying to make it out of the darkness.

P Smith who says poverty is darkness? Poverty is only shitty if you're poor in a place when most others are more successful or have more money than you. However in my country during the 90's, everything was so expensive at some point that people couldn't afford to buy bread. And when my parents and other people talk about those days, they say they were struggling everyday, but they found happiness in the simplest of things and they had hope. And because everyone was poor, the people all learned to coexist and help each other. Basically they didn't care that they were poor, because they were poor together.

What would it be like to live your life knowing that you are the kind of person who writes comments like 'shut up pussy' as a response to a perfectly reasonable post? It must be like there are these glowing angelic figures above you, miraculously capable of complicated words and concepts. For example: they can praise something whilst also recognising flaws. To you, who are only capable of a simplistic, absolute love/hate binary this must seem amazing, magical. But when you try to join in your ape-grunt words fail you, and full of resentment you turn to the safe familiarity of 'fuck u.'

But my mom couldn't, she has to endure his beating and deal with problems for the house and for me, but i didnt do anything. Now she's passed and i've moved out of the house and i REGRET not standing up for my mother. I will never forget how she struggles for me. I won't forget what you said to me, I will cherish myself. I love you mom

Don't beat yourself up fam, we all don't have the strength at times when we need it. I wanted to protect my grandma when I was young, I was like 7 and now I'm to a point where I can. One you'll get your own family and you'll do whatever it takes to defend them. Don't look on it as regret, look on it and use it as motivation.

💯 This is why you see guys like this (Dolph Lundgren, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc) turn into big muscular brickhouses because as kids they were too weak to fight back or do anything against their aggressors, especially when it's their father, someone who they're supposed to look up to and be looked after by. This big build for them is their armour, their protection and their safety. May these men be blessed and continue the work they do.

I had a very similar upbringing , my first memory is of my mother bleeding from her nose and being choked by my stepfather, my mother later had my lil brother with that man, and after a couple of years decided she had enough and migrated to another country, I went with her, my lil bro stayed with him, a couple of years ago we went back to take my brother away from him(he was living in a house with no heating, windows or any hygienic or cooking facility) and despite everything I still feared him and didn't spoke to him until I saw sadness in his eyes, took him aside and asked him what was wrong, he said he was scared shitless of being lonely but agreed with me that it was for the best of my lil bro and apologized for everything that he had ever done. I comforted him, the monster that almost killed my mom and ruined her psychologically, I conforted him because that's what my heart told me in that moment. This goes to say that I'm sure that Terry did not beat his father up, he took the high road imo and showed him compassion and strength by not getting beat down by what happened but turned into the reason why he's the good person he is today. A lot of the kindest people you'll ever meet in life have a very dark and scary past, the ones with the biggest hearts are the ones that were afraid of even breathing and that's because they, like me, would not wish anyone in the world to go through what he has.
