@@thaotafh I hear you. I heard Stro Elliots version before I heard Dre's and honestly when I heard Dre's I was kinda dissappointed. Maybe if I heard his first I'd probably feel...actually nah Stro's is still better to me. And like I said before Dr. Dre has been my favorite producer for most of my life. You can make an argument about the "mixes" but Im talking about the actual beats themselves. Stro's is simply better imo. And not just by a little bit either. But by miles. You could play both of them in a room full of people or at a party or something and i can almost gaurantee that more people would simply like stros version better. Dre's version just sounds like some drums mixed well over the original. Sorry

My little suggestion is that fading the drums on those verses kinda sound weird might as well consider putting it on half time but the intensity of the bass is the same but anyways, just my own preference but still awesome! Can't believe they put down the original video of Dre mixing it on Defiant Ones.

I once ended up in the remotest place on earth, where the people had never heard of Marvin Gaye. I had a some headphones on listening to Marvin Gaye my Walkman. Anyway once they had established I was listening to music etc I played the original song for them. Apart from the fact that they all loved it so much that I left them the tape and Walkman and whatever batteries I had left. The interesting thing was their description of what they had heard, they used words that translated to, from the heart, the soul, deep and beautiful. I just said right on.

@@woodii8903 Well it’s safe to say that I know very little about music editing, but the drums fading out at 0:33 is kinda off beat. The switch at 2:12 is also a bit odd. I’m sure ur already aware of this. The part between 0:33 and 2:12 is f*cking insane however!
