That's why for the most part I don't blame creators at all for doing sponsorships with not great companies unless it's someone who has gotten a bunch of videos and stuff done on them (like betterhelp for instance) especially since I'm a creator myself (although I haven't done any sponsorship yet) since it's hard to keep up with everything and think of what you are and are not ok with doing etc

I’m definitely in the group of folks who have no earthly idea what is going on. I’m way too lazy and love you way too much to give a shit to find out. So I’m just gonna go lay down now😂🥰

A fairly small infraction (especially when compared to some others) but still gives a direct to camera apology at the beginning of her most popular video so as many people as possible can see it, instead of burying it at the end of a video, or on a second channel, or just a community post that not everyone will see. I am always here for a person acknowledging a mess up and learning in the future. Also, I get this isn’t how sponsorships work, but how I’d want to be able to do it if I were a creator is by only accepting items or products or money for 1) things that I clearly indicate was a gift for my review, 2) the contract did not require any specific opinion or words on my behalf, and 3) ideally I had personally sought out and used the products for years myself before exchanging anything. I’m also not a creator. Regardless, I recommend thorough research on any company before partnering and sometimes it’s about what someone doesn’t say than it is what they do say. Anyways, I’m glad you stuck with your values. I’m always a fan of sticking with values, acknowledging mistakes, and doing research.
