Hey boss, ive used a bait caster my entire life. I am just now old enough to start fishing alone, on the boat, and I'm having trouble with rat nesting the line. Same technique ive always used. When i change baits I always adjust the drag. Any tips would go a LONG way!

The cow manure u mention is in fact not good for the water… excess phosphorus leads to major algae blooms which can put the lake into a eutrophic condition leading to hypoxia which can cause fish kills in shallow areas as the excess vegetation from the extra nutrients displaces the do (dissolved oxygen) at night
