You should put some more animals on the small field like sheep on it so you can take the wool to make fabric and take the fabric to make clothes

I think you would love the novacat pair of mowers. Give them a try with a rental next mow and you will fall in love. They automatically row your grass.

So Ive had my share of criticism about some of the decisions here, so i decided to give it a try. - Started with fields 53 & 54, immediately added a wind generator (medium), trailer home and precision farming shed (yes, im playing with precision farming, its more fun) - Grass silage with round baler. Slowly bought more fields. Adding fields 47, 48 and 50 gave me around 102 silage bales every "harvest", mowing 3 times per year gave me around 306 bales a year. On Hard, a 5500l bale of silage sells for around 1k. So around 300k/year. - Its now year 9, I own fields 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 53 and 54. I have 4 wind generators (medium), 2 large solar panels, 2 medium tractors, Novacat Mowers, Massey round Baler, small milk trailer, Manure and Slurry trailers, plus tedder, hay baler and everything i need to take care of the fields . I have a small cow barn (45 animals) producing milk on hay. I still sell all my silage and rotate a couple of fields doing hay every 12 months, thats enough to feed the cows without sacrificing too much silage $$. I bought the dairy downtown and am using the milk from the cows to produce cheese. Im now slowly transitioning away from grass silage cause it takes too much real-life time when you start scaling. - Im making around 15k/month passively, which im saving to buy the larger wind generator.

You can cut open bales before they become silage which I would do to save some for the sheep

That other mower you have to put on the front, get the double arm mower to go on the back, it'd nearly double the size as the single side mower. With both together, it's awesome. I have a dedicated tractor just for mowing with the double mowers. It's nice. Mow time will go down more than half. I personally like the double on front and single on back.

You should put up another storage barn for hay since you are going to make another hay field

When you did the math and came up with 6 years, i think you mighta misplaced a few 00's at the end of the 6.

You were having trouble placing the greenhouse because grass clippings can’t be built on (pretty silly if you ask me), you just need to pick it up of just paint the area. Also you should really just combine the 3 back grass fields after you harvest the one with canola. I feel like that would look natural and it would really help if you wanted to use a worker in the future. Keep up the good work!

I got some news for you, farm sim is a repetitive game and the reason he is finally making some money is bc he has focused in on a couple things. Also, he has other things than just the silage, he does canola oil, bees, chickens, greenhouse, solar panels, and has been taking on contracts. So your calculation doesn’t make sense. As he acquires more money and land he will continue to expand what he is doing, but for now this is working and helping him progress to owning more land. It’s guys like you that have made this series take so long to actually get somewhere. If you are bored then stop watching, it’s not that complicated
