I do. I use ambie. They are great. I’ve had them for about a year.

Ordered them today. Earbuds never stay in my ear, this is perfect for me.

How do they sound to you? Are they any good?

I adore anything by Huawei. My P30 Pro is in it's fifth year now and it's still quick charging and still so very swift. Amazing camera too. Want these earbuds....NOW.

my p30 is still good too till today. shame that the US & its allies are doing all they can to kill Huawei when they cant even compete & blaming security as the reason, while ironically CIA & MI6 too have been spying on electronic consumers for years......

Some people in the comments section overlooked the fact that this earphone is very friendly to someone who's prone to ear infections, such as myself, definitely would buy one when it's on sale. 😂

Meeee! I try to avoid using my earbuds since getting my second ear infection. I bought a headphone but to be honest, not a big headphone user. Will probably buy this!

Get a Sony ambie, probably much better quality

I got these yesterday other strength of your review. Comfort wise nothing beats them for me. I have better buds with obviously better sound but I'm happy with the slight compromise for all day comfort. My new favourite earbuds.

Great review mark! Huge fan of Huawei and yea, these definitely look interesting! They seem perfect for working in the office, especially when you get many people walking up to you as part of your job. It would be interesting to see how they cope with outdoor sport like running or cycling 🤔

Wow this is exciting product, for me anyway. I am one of those weird ones who can't stand wearing in-ear earbuds. Most comfortable earbuds I own to date is Samsung Galaxy Buds Live. Most people say the ANC on those things are not noticeable, but for me the ANC is very noticeable and effective. Still can't use those for cycling, as for me even with ANC off they are still block too much ambient sound. Maybe this Huawei free clip would be the perfect earbuds for my excercise, cant wait to try it out!

interesting design ! i like my airpods pro most of the time, but still find that the best earbuds to use for phone calls or zoom meetings etc are the original apple ear phones that are wired. no stress watching out for battery usage, and the audio quality is so much better with just the right amount of "openness". at work in the office, my desk line is set to ring concurrently on my iphone so that i can take calls on the go with my airpods pro and in such settings, they are usually on transparency mode, so there is definitely such a use case for professional settings. the only problem i see with the huawei is that they may not suit people with cartilage piercings - happy to contribute my 2 cents' worth on the fashion element here 😄

Looking at this review i have ordered mine now

I use the Teufel supreme-in for 1-2 years now, which go in the kind of same direction regarding the open fit, so these could be my next ones. (since the teufel may not last that long...) Only sad thing is the missing ANC, obviously it wouldn't work well here, but sometimes I'm annoyed to have 0 noise reduction and need to crank up the volume. It works, but it isn't good for your ears.

Very interesting product. There is a 5th reason to buy earphones like this: when you are not able to wear the free buds. When I used them in the beginning it was great, great sound. But after a while (1/2 a year) I got problems with this type of earphones. Water was running out of my ears. That sounds funny, but it is'nt. Twice I tried them again after curing my ears. Everytime the same. And the medicals told me, there is no alergic reaction with the silicon plugs. For the moment I use Samsung Buds Live, which have no negative effect on the ears. They sound good, it would be nice to hear if the bass of the new free clips is similar good to that of the Buds Live???? The disadvantage of the Buds Live is, first they give a little preasurres to the ear, but OK. The second item is that even if the noise reduction is off, it is difficult to understand other people. And for third: the touch command 1 touch stop is difficult. My ones all the time identify dobble touch and instead of stopping the musik they jump to the next song. Resume: if someone can make a comparison between the Buds Live and the new free clip it would be great. Bass is important for me, it has to be real.

I don't know if I missed the part but how does it sound with phone calls? Does it have a mic for when you need to speak on a phone call?

An excellent point of reference for evaluating this product would be a comparison with the Sony LinkBuds (those with a donut shape)

I just tried the sample set in malaysia, tried on call, both party can each clearly, i shake head no sign pf dropping,listen to youtube clear, don't feel any pain and don't really feel anything there, I have pre order it

I bought malaysia set and have been using for at least one month,so far only sometime intermittent if use it with my work laptop, no issue connect with my p60 pro

What good is all the technology if earbuds constantly fall from your ears? I will definitely order these earbuds because having stable earbuds that don't fall should be the first on the list. Besides, it also has fantastic features and looks pretty cool..

In order of importance, my three questions are: 1) Are they comfortable in the ear/do they hurt when in the ear for extended periods of time? 2) How easily do they slip out/Can I comfortably laugh, chew, shake my head, jump up and down without threat of them falling out? 3) How good is the sound quality/Are there a noise-cancelling, ambient sound, and normal sound features?

They are new type of open earphones.the sound quality is good but not for audiophiles of course.They are unique and fashioned .We can wait for some updates to offer a little better bass management

Hauwei has wireless charging, better call quality, skin sensors, dust resistance and multipoint connection. Bose has slightly better bass, EQ, volume control, immersive audio, better controls.

They are better for people who wear glasses. They don’t interfere with the frame as they clip lower on the ear. You can see this in the review.

What if they pair the next model of these with some bone conduction technology for crazy audio?🎃

Mark, I thought I would try Huawei headquarters in Ottawa Canada. The woman told me that she knew nothing of this product. She gave me a triple 8 number to call. You either get this number is not longer in service or a recorded runaround. Due to your review, I want to buy a pair. If you live in Canada, there is nothing that I can find to get any information. If this is the way Huawei does business in Canada, I guess I will have to jump back to another product. Very disappointed. I really want these. Thanks, however, as always for a great review. You're a lucky man.

true its sometimes lacks bass, lacks details, too narrow etc2, but still somehow better sounding as i mentioned, its the tune

lol I dont fall in any of the cathegories, the reason why I want these is that I cannot use anything inside my ears, they sweal and give me headaches, I can use headphones but when it gets too hot I will need these

Hello! Question: Does this also work on iPhones? I mean, the Huawei app? Because I am an Apple lover, but when it comes to earphones, I am very picky and careful, and I believe the Huawei free clip earbuds are more practical. I don't want any stickiness and it's quite painful to put buds in my ears, which aches. I've also seen a lot of advertising for this device, and it looks really cool. I quite like this one and not just being an apple lover I still look for something more usable and practical and also safe for my ears.

I'm all over companies making an effort to give punters more choices for open ear headphones rather than Shokz having the entire market to themselves. Massive market for these especially us runners. These look like they might bounce on your ears though? Do they?

I would say airpods pro has a better sound quality and noise cancellation. Would go for Huawei clip right now but would look into it in the future as I think it's a good innovation

I have the Huawei freeclip. I do believe it is a product that is great for indoor not too noisy space. Pro Innovative Stays on great for indoor it fits anyone comfortable Long battery Life Con Too expensive sound quality is dependent on the location it drowns in planes, trains etc. when on a phone call your background noise can be heard by the person you are speaking to kudos to Huawei for the first generation, I believe this product will get better from the second generation on, they will need to make some adjustments to the speaker compartment, they might have noise cancellation when making a phone call ETC..

Looks like the phones from Fringe.

When reviewing ear buds please try some real world tests. Go outside and speak and record the mic. That’s what lots of KZreadrs do rather than just telling us what it’s like.

However, you should know that the playback effect of different mobile phones is different, so even if it is recorded, it is still not as good as your own experience, so it is best to go to the store to experience it before buying it, if there is a chance 😂

Market exists. I’m at home all the time, working from home, I like listening YT etc. but I don’t want to interupt family with my listening, and I want to hear when somebody talks to me, so I prefere AirPod over AirPods Pro, and these looks even better in trems of comfort. And I don’t even listen the music at all

This has perfect application, for sports like running, cycling or gym coz you can hear people and specially traffic. I’m getting the impression that you don’t do exercise that much? Coz doing redundant things is soul sucking that’s why some people prefer to add some level but it’s still better on having someone

Does it clamp your ear when you put it on? Looks like it is slightly crushing your ear
