@@see_you_out_there Well the weather held up. 5 hard heads and 1 croaker for me. 5 Stingrays and 1 hard head for my buddy. Lots of traffic down there this past weekened for the tournament that was going on. Better luck next time as they say...

I just got my first boat, it’s a mako 21’ pro skiff… could I fish this area? I notice some of your videos you use that pole to move around. I have no experience with a boat, that’s why I’m asking. I was fishing in Galveston State Park next to Jamaica Beach. Saw a popping cork floating near by, paddled to it, reached out to get it. As soon as I touched it, it took off, chased it for ⅓ an hour and never got close to it again.

I caught a 32 red fishing ,he was dragging around a fishing rod and reel, met the guy who lost it at the boat ramp, heard him telling others what had happen to him, he got his gear back

My dad has always told me " if you see a popping cork cast at it." LOL

Was this over by Chocolate Bay? My father-in-law broke off on a redfish over there on Thursday evening. We chased the cork for over an hour before losing him in Halls Lake. His popping cork looked a lot like this one... how crazy would that be!

Lol, that would be crazy!!! We were closer down towards greens cut. Not impossible by no means but one heck of a swim.

HA!! We caught a red the same way last Sunday. The red snapped the line at the cork. We hung around for 30+ minutes waiting for the cork to surface. The kid threw his paddle tail and snagged the line. I was shocked the fish was able to keep a coastal cork under the surface of the water for so long.

And PS I just emailed bama Beach bum and told him he can throw his fishing manual in the trash cuz it may work in Pensacola which I know it probably does but fishing the Galveston area isn't the same as fish and Pensacola I think I heard his feelings I would have loved to seen the challenge you gave the bait clickers I watch them all and they were too cowardly to take you up on your offer of course we all know you would have won

You heard about Beach bum and the bait clickers buying a large tackle store didn't you
