my friend is a legitimate 1800 player who is sitting around 2100 right now because he gets rank 1s to play with him out of LFG all the time by just talking to random people. Honestly pushing LFG is more a test of social skillls, which most WoW players do not have.

the amount of glad players ive played withh in LFG that actually give you advice and tips etc has been wild. i find that the Rival - Elite players are more likely to flame you and just leave vs the Glad players will stick around and hhelp you get better ( within reason haha).

I’m multi glad and me and my buddy who I Que with every season will go into LFG on alts and play with a healer (or dps if I’m on my healer), and find an 1800 or 2kish player to hit 2.4 with - as long as they have a good mind and are willing to learn. Truth is elites don’t have the carry potential so they’ll flame anyone less than them always looking to put blame on others in 99% of cases. As long as you’re playing with 2 glad lvl players (no boast seriously) you can carry a half decent 3rd and teach them along the way

There's a wow YT channel, idr the name but I wanna say skillcapped, that's a solid place to start to see what people are using addon wise in this day and time. What helped me are Weakauras, Tidyplates, bigdebuffs, quartz, any gladius like addon, framesort, dampening, flyplatebuffs type addon, HHTD, and I use elvui. He also has a focus target active 99% of the time. Skillcapped can go into more detail about what each addon does, just make sure not to go overboard and customize it to yourself. Flyplatebuffs (or similar addon), bigdebuffs, and the gladius like add-ons help the most for reaction based gameplay.

theres a couple ways to do it, plater has options, Teaa Totem Nameplates is the easiest one, its a weakaura, Nameplate cooldowns i believe shows the grounding in the character portrait too i believe. I'd personally recommend Teaa as it recolors a lot of stuff, like warlocks fel obelisk, psyfiend, etc

How about do a zero to hero glad with a separate account not linked to your main account or anything? That would be a lot more fun

I think the more realistic challenge for a streamer in general is a new character, new account, record all the games and make a long playlist to post after (if) it is achieved. Never going live and doing it, because every time anyone has done it people have tried to ghost into their groups through LFG or they get unrealistic invites. I also think the true challenge is in the first game you do get to play, because if you play really well then there will be another. If not... then comes the offlines or leavers. Streaming any of it before, even while hiding your name, people will figure it out.

I mean even if Pika did all of that, it still wouldn't tell the story of any avg guy trying to climb in lfg. Despite being on a new class, Pika has knowledge of every class/ability in the game and is one of the best pvpers of all time.

Its so funny that people say its "cheating" when he messages people to says hi or such like that. Which isn't cheating. HOWEVER having said that the average joe doesn't want to speak and just wants to play and I feel he should try it that way because a huge majority of people play that way and sadly don't get games lol. I feel if you don't have the confidence (aka Pika knows hes good so naturally he will say yeah lets go) vs average joe they may not be confident enough to speak as if we are going to win.

If you can get 2 other gladiator players to play with you its not hard at all, thats the problem though is getting your first glad.

havent played retail wow in like... 6 years for real (only SOD and classic when they come out) and EVERYONE has a dash, stun, silence, etc... also, i have noticed a lack of boomkins in pvp videos lol then the AoE in the shaman is crazy... also... some kind of aoe pull? aoe root? what? 10 seconds stun? what?

I got cussed out on my ret pal for not healing alot more than i did. so voice is a no go. too old for some punk to cuss at me. :)

In wod I lied and said I was r1 on my previous account and was banned for boosting to play with multi r1 players and got my first glad and 2700 rating. I ended up playing with the same team mates for years and achieved 4 r1 titles 😂 My highest CR prior to that was 2300. Fake it til you make it 😂 (I eventually told them about it after we got r1 in S3 of wod, they thought it was funny)

The fact that he told everyone his name and didn't hide his name on the screen doesn't make it a legitimate challenge.

If you wanna make this series can u use a fresh acc,everyone check pvps xD

create new char, 0 rating on any rated pvp activity, with good pvp gear ( lets say average 6 pieces conquest and rest honor ) and work your way up, that will be a challenge

Yeah I'm not a fan of these 10 minute games... I'm used to 60 second type games. 3-5 mins was considered a LONG game back in the day.

Bro truth is : you didn't make any challenge at all. Take a new account, make the videos off-stream where no one can know who you are, grind to glad, and THEN show us the videos. We'll see if you ddn't quit WOW before ;) If you don't have Glad and/or HOTA since BFA, you're not going to be invited in grps where people actually know how to play pvp. This is a fact. I did what you did here. Always 25-40% more dmg/healing/dispells/cc's than all mates regrped together. You need to carry hard and you need to play at hours where the boosters don't play cause you can't carry against those. Welcome to plebs hell. IRL like IG, it's a blessing if you're dumb enough not to want to be effective at all. :)
