I’m in year 6 of my business and my customers went off a cliff. I was closing about 3-5 deals per month and then in year 6 - it took a nose dive. But I’ve dug deep, looked at my own motivation and what made me start and flourish all those years and it’s what I truly enjoy. So- I’m pivoting by trying out a few new types of clients and I will get over this hurdle. My best year (year 2) I made on one month what I made in one year and that’s when I knew I had sone thing valuable. Thanks Ramit- this inspired me to dig deeper and keep on going. Don’t give up just because you had a dip or downturn. Pivot or add another service or product until it works again. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Just a few days away from kickstarting my side hustle! This video is just what I needed to remember that it's okay not to strive for perfection. Thanks for the breathing room, Ramit! 🌟 Juggling a full-time job, family, my new CSP, and a new business after bedtime is no joke, but here I go! I'm 38 but happy to be learning all these techniques now.

I love how Ramit and Noah Kagan (among others) are breaking down the barriers of entrepreneurship. Most of what you hear is 'If you're not willing to grind 24hrs a day and sacrifice everything you're not ready to build a business'. Hard work is important but business lies on a scale, from small to global. Thanks for the amazing free content.

15:11 I started a business that I'm currently in right now around 11 years ago, I remember among my very first clients walked in and asked whether I could open an email address for her. I did and the client paid me 30c. It still gives me goosebumps thinking about it!

Ramit, thanks, man. You really woke me up this morning. I've had an idea brewing for about two years now, an idea I truly believe will be successful, help people's lives, and it'll help people get through tough times, just like me, a 52 years old father of two, who used to financially support his family. However, in the last three years, I've faced numerous challenges and have been dealing with a very difficult time. Thanks to my wonderful wife for her unwavering support, she's been my rock through those dark days. Thank YOU for making me feel capable of making this idea happen. Today marks the beginning of a successful journey for me. I'll come back soon to share my progress at this same post. Thanks again, my friend!

I have an idea, and get concerned about if it fails. So i also created ideas 2 and 3 that would use all of the same equipment, and sell to either crossover consumers, or seperate ones. Is that too deep? I grew up with a dad who always said no, my ideas wouldn't work, etc. ironically, it makes me really think through issues that might pop up, and always have contingency plans. Nothing like the word 'No!' to fire me up these days 😂

I'm sure people will always buy houses. I'm interested in buying tax lien properties(pennies on the dollar) and flipping them in a few categories wholesale, fix & flip, and Retail market homes so it can leverage me into all aspects of R.E.

@@adnesavchen1549I hear you. I garden, and lots of people in my area grow the same things as me. I started to look outside the box, to see maybe what I could grow that was different. Can you do something similar with the baking for instance? If everyone makes blueberry muffins, could you try morning glory? The next year, people started copying what I grew. It was eye opening, that I was the one to come up with the new ideas.
