Interesting review, the VED system is just crazy in the UK and is not as all well targeted but if that works to your advantage why not👍

I love the AMG GT - when I went to the local dealer to buy my E400, I nearly bought the wrong (right) car. That said, I think I would find the lack of opportunities to stretch its legs deeply frustrating - it’s rare to use the full 340bhp/700Nm of the E-Class. I do love, though, how the AMG looks, and that engine is to die for - every journey would be an event (albeit maybe a frustrating event). Congratulations on the subscription milestone - you’ve deserved it 💪

I've been binge watching/listening to your videos like crazy since I found your channel. Your voice is really pleasant to listen to. You could start a podcast easily and imo it would be really popular. I'm in a middle of doing my driving licence and can't wait to get behind the wheel. I'm in early 30s, so it's going to be a bit tricky to decide what to go for as my first car. You could be doing paid searches on auto trader for people like me, but don't know if that's something that you would have interest in. Anyways, All the best pal and congrats on 250k !

Very sweet ride, and your experience matches the reality for most well maintained modern sport cars. We have to keep in mind that when things go well, people don't share in the internet most the time, they just use it and that's it. They show up and share the experience when something goes horribly wrong, so the info out there is skewed towards bad experiences. Shit happens ofc but keeping up with the maintenance is probably all you will have to do until you get bored and eventually sell it.

Love the contrast between this and the previous video of the Corsa! 😂 congratulations on reaching such a milestone for your subscriptions. Here’s to 500k! All the best!

Have watched your videos for years, I always check the latest one out even if I've got no interest in buying the car featured! Definitely keep buying (and talking about) the cheaper cars, not just Citroen C1's but reasonable estates, hatchbacks etc. So many KZreadrs start out relatable but by their 3rd lambo half their subscribers are bored stiff. That said it was interesting to hear about the realities of owning that Merc. Crack on!

Congratulations on the 250K! You certainly put in the work. The interior noise level seemed quite high or the camera was picking up noise from the passenger window.

the channel is really good, a honest documentary of what car business is like. Thanks for that. Will continue to watch! On the GT costs, it will be fine in the first year or two but once you get to it being a bit elderly, discs will cost a bit, and insurance will be individual for everyone. It's a bit more expensive. £1991 is quite a bit a year for a car that's almost brand new..

Most of the long termers of your channel probably also sub to the late brake show ,Jayemm , auto alex etc. But all those presenters have had professional journalistic media training. Appreciate you've had some acting experience but to be in the same ball park with presentation and content is praise indeed and well deserved . Here's to the next 250K

Hi Matt, Great channel. Thanks for the content. Question: When you buy a trade vehicle (“I bought a cheap…”) how can you drive these cars around without displaying your trade plates? Or do you actually display them and remove them for the camera shots? I follow rob and Chris from salvagebuilds too and rob always “snags” the cars for a couple of hundred miles before selling on.. I was under the impression that trade plates were for buying/selling/test drives/to-from MOT’s, repairs etc. thanks again for the content 😊

Congrats on the Subs, U deserve it ! The AMG GT is one of the Few Mercedes I really Love! If I had one, I would park it in my living room. I never knew U owned one. I guess this is a purebred Collector Car! It is a bit noisy inside, is that the tires? This Car's cost is not about tax, or MOT, it is the fuel & maintenance, like tires etc. Greeetings!

Great review buddy. I do quiet a few myself and I love a real down to earth chat. I’ve been looking to swop the wife’s 440i for a while and needed to get her on board 😂 Looking at a few 911’s. But one of these was parked next to a Porsche. And I think this review may help, running costs and every day use. Rather than smashing round a track, as this will be an everyday for us.
