the advanced distribution for FCT is given because of the private placement.. -- i.e. existing unit holders are entitled to the advanced distribution up to the date of issue for the new placement units wheresas the private placement ones will only get distributions after the issue date.

I use them for trading. These are to buy and hold in CDP

genting have pretty good balance sheet. and cash to debt. very safe for long term even if interest rate remain high for long

There are few risks involved ..about 4 major one…. Good luck…do some homework and u will find out…

I bought Genting at 98 cts n 91 cts . Price not able 2 chiong due to Q4 result not so solid ,plus China embassy issued directives to chinese not to gamble in our casinos . I doubt they can implement effectively . Need to wait 4 Q1 result out in mid May .😊

What will happen when the land lease is expired? REIT manager will need to get cash from somewhere to top up the lease? That will affect DPU?

I have high conviction in Genting previously…. In fact since IPO. But over the period, it fails to go above $1 in a sustainable way. I thought things will finally turn rosy when it hits above $1 this year, but 😂

@@caseyneistat2371 This is the common consensus on the street. However, fed keeps saying they are going to lower int rates, but the 0 int environment that we have experience is never coming back. I personally see DBS going to 50 in the next 5 years.

Don’t buy SIA . Bad financial numbers. Start looking at top 1% US stock . Don’t waste time.

REITs are very interest rate sensitive. Why not invest in business that do well regardless of interest rates?

@@SgAlvinOng no one can accurately predict, but if you follow ECB and Fed, you'll know we have already reached peak rates. Even though we cannot 100% say rates will fall, the odds are heavily in favor of rates falling from here on. The uncertainty is around the pace at which rates will be cut and how low it will go.
