If you're looking to upgrade your studio a little further it sounds like you could benefit from sound proofing your room a little better as you can really hear the 'room' you could even make a video / vlog out of it by making your own panels, there relatively inexpensive to make and its a fun DIY project when everything goes right.

I had a MPC 2000 for a minute, i recommend u get a midi cable and hook it up to that keyboard from the MPC. Its a much faster workflow, because the MPC dont have autochop so chopping samples on that just takes forever.

I'm actually tempted to get a old MPC just purely for the legacy, for its role in Hiphop and Rap music, pretty much every major player in the game used one. You will definitely be able to come up with something fire, for Sure Jack.

Nice white diffuser! Means nothing without panels though. Make ‘em yourself bro! You’re gonna need one to block the windoooow! Small rooms are tough but panels will help a lot. Play your music at low levels to check your mix because if you play loud all you get is room waves bouncing. Where’d you get that diffuser? Cheers!

Just to provide some insight... most people (except for Damu the Fudgemunk) only used the MPC2000 for its MIDI Programming/Sequencing ability. It was often accompanied by a much more capable sampler such as the Akai S900, Akai S950, other similar Akai samplers, the Ensoniq ASR-10 (rack unit or keyboard), Ensoniq EPS (16+), etc. etc. If you're looking for a true, classic workflow I would recommend one of these. The sounds from many of these old samplers is also highly touted. If you like the feel of the MPC2000 and don't care about old school sound/workflow, then I would recommend hooking it up via MIDI to FL Studio and whatever plug-in you use to chop samples. Basically the foundation of the classic workflow mixed with modern technology. Hope this helps!
