My simple design formula for redbubble is : 80% niche-based, 10% general, and 10% trending designs.I find that works best for me!

redbubble seems to have what i call "the digestion period", most of my designs dont do anything for almost a month, and then I start pulling in sales, the designs rank up and life is good. these things take time and your shop will grow organically if you just keep putting in the time

Same here, I have about 60 designs, but I didn't post anything for about a year, over the course of that year nothing sold in the first month or few months, but now I've made a total of 100$ from those designs that I just left up there. I'm gonna get back into it bc why not.

wait rlly? And here I have 1 week uploaded 40 designs (Yes I love making art that much it's genuine), advertised on basically every single social media I could think of and still no results. So perhaps it really is because it's just too new and yet to be discovered by RedBubble themselves

I took a look at the Google progress on the shop and only two products are currently showing despite the 140 listed in the shop so Google doesnt appear to be picking up the SEO. I really do like many of the designs and I went through to favorite several. Thank you so much for this, it really does show how much you can get done just if you will be consistent.

I don't post that many a day, at most 3-5 a month, this month only one. I was a little discouraged thinking that the problem was SEO because of my little knowledge in doing it. In a little over a year I have 112 designs and 99 cuts - many color changes in the patterns following a tip. Now I can see that it is not me, it is really hard and takes time... Thanks, very good video!

thanks for all your content. I need your advice from you and everyone else.. I just started a red bubble store. And since yesterday I've been researching on was to be successful at it. Found your channel and it's been very informative. But I have just few Designs there not up to ten. And i seen so many videos on making it on RB and most are becoming confusing and contradicting. I don't know what are the major steps to take as a beginner or if you have a video on that. Is it to keep uploading my design based on my ideas so as to grow my design eyes and get used to RB or to be looking for trends, bots, take extra courses on print on demand. Facebook ads, buying tools. I just don't know. Because I've read so much I'm overloaded and a bit confused and scared looks way more difficult than pointed out by most. Would really appreciate your response and that of others. Especially how to get photos that won't get my account suspended PS: my grammar aren't great I know. Lol

@@wipjenni That's basically SEO, and this is from someone that has done it professionally. The key is to pay and wait. Nobody has cracked the formula for doing it free yet, because there's a lot of people paying to put their product on the map and even they waste a lot of money. It's a lot of work, but the thing that works the most is something I call Hypertextuality: basically using more than one social media or search engine to create a little network to link your product into different platforms. That helps you with the algorithm.

I have a general store that I haven’t put much effort into that makes around 30/40 pounds a month and around 100 during Christmas time. I’ve just started a second store which is niche based to see if that works any better but it’s definitely not a scam.

I think this approach of "mass producing" low effort designs to the point they can be pumped out 10 times a day just doesn't work dude. I personally can say I don't know anybody who would chose these designs over someone else's work that clearly has a lot more time and effort put into it. I think the best thing to do is focus on quality not quantity and be patient

The problem with what I'm seeing of your work, is it's not all that good as far as designs go. If you're looking to hit thousands of designs, I'd lower that number by half and concentrate on some decent work. You will find that you will have more sales.

Stumbled upon this video at 1:30 in the morning. I’m headed back to college in a couple weeks, I’ve got a big trip coming up with my friends right before I head back. (This comment may be a bit of a public vent) This summer has been good and not a waste of time for sure. I’ve been working, getting money, doing art projects, that sort of thing. I tend to put a lot of pressure on myself in terms of achievement, I make lofty goals and I feel only temporary spurts of motivation. I spend a lot of time doing mindless things like watching TikTok or scrolling Insta, etc. I’m hoping to change this at least a little bit in the coming year. This video is inspiring me and making me more determined to commit to a plan I made toward the middle of summer- record myself and post updates publicly so that I have more of a “purpose” for lack of a better term. I’m going to be doing something similar to your video during the school year! A short video at the beginning of the week laying out what I’ve got going on and the goals I’ve set for myself. Then a weekly update like this video that shows what goals I’m working on and where I’ve gotten with them. The biggest obstacle (outside of my own mind and exhaustion) seems to be lack of adequate tools. I don’t want to make excuses for myself because I’ve noticed I’m doing that more and more as I don’t do things I say I’ll do. So the moment I get a chance to utilize the tools around me, I’m going to take it. If you’ve read this far, I’m glad I was interesting enough to take a little time out of your day. Keep pushing, I know you have it in you! Anyways, thank you so much for the inspiration and motivation. I hope your Redbubble grows further and that you continue to design (love the designs btw!) goodnight you beautiful people, cheers, on to the next
