So flame pegasus is actually a pretty good beyblade, the blade base is used in a lot of competitive combos. You can launch it in left spin and it does pretty great. There are also rulings for hand launching it. It is legal to launch that way.

Plastic Gen literally had the most crazy design. Don't forget about Trieagle's jumping mechanism and dranzer having multiple built in tips.

Well the multiple tips is like the Quattro driver from astral spriggan

If you replace those bearings with some shielded ball bearings on flame Pegasus, it will go from the fun gimmick to a scary stamina type.

You need 2 mr52zz ball bearings. The 2 plastic bearings are gonna be replaced (not the middle one) and then just close it back up. The top one will have some fitment issues depending on the mold.

I think you could use the actual launcher on the first bey so it could change its performance and possibly make it way better

If you get a second Torch Pegasus you can spin one on top of another. TT actually made another in pink-ish purple color called Thunder Pegasus, partly for that party trick since they did it in the anime. You'd just have to insert Torch's bitbeast chip upside down for it to work since there's a small hole on the other side.

Indeed and I also have a variant of one the metal extreme (Hell Kerbex) where it has a shiny green coat instead of gold and blue wings or blades instead of the orange.

Out here still recommending people to try putting Vaseline on the suction cup of quest. It vastly increases the performance in the defense and stamina category

Also I had a lil suggestion for a vid in mind I was thinking you guys trying the “Beyblade but for men” Against the infinite lock beys, (Apocalypse and Genesis) Because I know the tops are really hard hitters and I thought it would be interesting to put them up against those two. How about making a video on attempting to make the most competitively viable beyblade using the quest driver. Something high so it doesn’t scrape when tilting, and heavy to improve its ability to tank hits.

The purple plastic Gen one I believe was called Wyborg (I alway light up when I see it because it was my first bey and I hope they make a Wyborg Spiral for X, not sure how they’d do the changing bit tho)

my friends hated me that time when first beyblade scene first entered my country, the street tourney rules wasn't fix yet, so i use a gyro option part to battle. it works the same as that pegasus, but the bey is shielded within gyro case, so the bey safely spin inside it. and it also can spin both ways, depend on which side you put the ripcord. and yeah, its very tanky back in the day i always win. i lost it but fortunately i bought a new & cheap one when pandemic, different color. anyway, i think it won't perform as great as old time when battling new gen like metal fight beys
