​@@JustaJabberwocky Valhalla combat( you have to time your blocks and manage your stamina, plus stun/execution mechanic), Additional Attack by loop(let you map an additional attack button that does a long 3 hit power attack), Bow charge plus(you can charge your shots and do more damage the more you charge them either as a single charged shot or as a rush of max 3 quick arrows),Skyrim Directional Combat( Combat system like For honor you have 4 blocking directions you have to block the right direction, plus unblockable attacks and counters) , Throwing Weapons Lite( you now have throwing knives, spears, axes, explosive grenades, molotov like grenades, ice grenades, smoke grenades), there are more but so far those are the ones I had in mind at the moment.

that is a great question, the completely honest answer, is that it would've taken too long. I felt like even the Dawnguard section was a bit long, so to add the Dragonborn quests on top would have felt like it took away from the overall goal of the video. but yeah I'm sure that man would have destroyed me LOL

Also he said he was taking on the strongest of each section. So Kaarstag from the Dragonborn dlc is stronger than Miraak. Ebony Warrior is ALSO from the Dragonborn dlc and is also stronger, meant to be an endgame challenge due to only showing up at level 80. Tho tbf Miraak would've been properly Souls-like due to having phase changes with absorbing the surrounding dragons' souls and eventually using the Dragon Aspect shout.

Aside from stealing the health from dragons, Miraak is really just a regular wizard fight. He's not terribly strong.

@@KarmasAB123 As someone who plays on legendary difficulty more than I haven't, I have to strongly disagree. Magic is so incredibly strong on legendary for enemies due to how much more damage you take, the insanely high magicka pools they have and how fast they can fire spells. Add in the mods, and its guaranteed to be a hard fight.

Ive set up a mod list for Skyrim on Ps4 and got tired and went to bed before i even started playing.

The music playing when fighting Alduin is recognizable. You can find out more from GeoffPlaysGuitar as he's been making music in the style of DOOM Eternal. He explained in one video that this style is now called Argent Metal.

You should play vigilant it is basically the aesthetic version of this, like a lot of dark souls Armor and a pelinal whitestrake That is just like the artorius fight

lol but the snow elves quest is one of my favourite quests and I cringed when you called it terrible

I just started a playthrough with this exact same idea and absolutely love it. I was laughing too because at one point I was tposing around just like you in the beginning too.

Ultimate Combat , Revenge of the Enemies, and Enemy Overhaul also do a lot to make even the standard enemies way harder. Particularly helos with NPC bosses like Mercer, Vyrthur, Miraak etc to actually make them challenging

Challenging? What's the challenge, how many potions you can chug while spamming M1? Pretty much Skyrim in a nutshell. Even with Requiem this game is unplayable trash.

​@@smoqueed44 If you don't like skyrim melee gameplay spice it up with mods that add useful and strategic perks, spells, use a bow, its your fault if you are just spamming m1 even on vanilla skyrim. I'm not saying the combat is great, but it's not unplayable trash.

@@Tokmurok ​ @Evan Combat mods add spice to the gameplay in the same way it'd add to the flavour of a turd. At the end of the day, any game that can be completed with M1 spam is a terrible game. There is no skill nor fun involved. On top of that, the world of Skyrim is big as an ocean and as shallow as a pool. The game is utterly worthless. Its success is proof that gaming is dead.

@@smoqueed44 I don't disagree with you completely. But I think it's more like in some areas Skyrim is rather fleshed out and immersive, and in others the depth is shallow, even more so than a pool. If the game was complete trash I don't think it would have been a success at all. But in many ways it is a step down from previous titles like oblivion. Far smaller in size to even daggerfall that was the size of England and procedurally generated in many ways making it a special experience every time. Alot of older games innovated more than Skyrim. It was just a product of its era, there are far better selections now. I would say the best part about it is the music and atmosphere, the combat is terribly weak however. Its kind of like one of those fruity teas that smell brilliant but taste rather underwhelming. You can enjoy the music outside of the game and the aforementioned atmosphere is a product of nature's beauty anyway. So it's not like Skyrim provides unique mechanics it has a half decent mix of preexisting stuff.

@@Tokmurok this is probally gonna sound stupid but all in all i feel like Skyrim's combat issue boils down to being able to and it being mandatory to pause during combat to use items or change equipment (this ones more for mages) in addition to resources becoming irrelevant which is more so out of the fact that you can just spam items during combat and often feeling like you need to. things that ultimately both make combat trivial and make combat not feel good even when theirs a lot of nice ideas given it's age. and really imo the games strongest point is the overworld and how good it feels to explore, and sure thats mostly natures beauty. but the fact being that it captures a wild and harsh open world, with caves, ruins and small towns dotted across it which makes Skyrim's wilderness feel both like wilderness but also like it's lived in. and before you get on me about it's empty cities feeling empty and lifeless that is true and i don't discount that but anything else has been a technical limitation in many cases even to today. to expect a game to have cities that are appropriately full and alive is a high bar for something that released more than 10 years ago.

I had some of these mods, but some I hope will make great additions to my list, I had mostly animations and with just that it was a bit too easy against anything that wasn't a dragon regardless of difficulty setting. Much appreciated for including which mods you used in the description for viewing. 😁💯

You should have played vigilant its one of many dark souls inspired skyrim mods quests with new land and cool bosses

Nice, I did a playthrough a year ago with a bunch of the same mods. The combat roll and quick slot thing is massive.

It was called "Elder Souls." But I can't find it on Wabbajack now. I also installed it and I liked it but I can't say how "souls-like" it was because mostly I just cheesed the combat due to difficulty. Back then I had no experience with souls type games.

It might help to provide a link for these two as just by searching and a moderate understanding of how the nexus works, I was unable to find the mods below - Gold Optimized Loot Drops 1.0 - Souls Hit Sound

What became obvious after getting them all together was that the other mods listed match up with file name of the mod rather than their name of the mod on the nexus, which are both subject to change. A better suggestion might be an updated C/P of the name of the mod on Nexus so it is easier to find.
