Ugh, that darn Mercari! Always with the issues.

I just went thru my Mercari Listings and there were a TON of ones changed to free shipping and I never do free shipping either. I always double check that I put in buyer pays because I had one with the free shipping once. It has to be something with Mercari. I am glad I watched this video this am and checked before I sold any!!

Mercari flipped multiple listing's to "free shipping" in my store. I thought it was just me. It kept happening. I don't have a huge store, so I ended up going thru all my listing's. Found about 15 "free shippings". I NEVER pay for shipping. But no other re-sellers were complaining, so I thought this was somehow my fault.

Was having a pretty great burst on Ebay after dismal sales then the update came and down again today ughhh. They are making such silly changes and messing up sales! I just keep plugging along and hopefully it will be back on track soon! Yes thank goodness for those big sales to help even it out. Poshmark used to be my best platform but hardly any sales there now. Happy to see your adorable Minnie blanket sold already!! 🎉🎉🎉

I had that happen to me on eBay. I don’t generally do free shipping either. I have almost 500 listing and only 4 are free shipping. I felt like someone hacked me and changed the shipping. Now every morning when I remember, I go check to make sure I still only have 4.

I had that happen on mercari too. I had to go thur all the listings too

I had these same issues recently- postal rates up and old shipping cost charged to buyer / also random Mercari free shipping here and there over the past month

I didn’t realize that postal rates increased. Thanks for pointing that out. My sales have been pretty good but definitely ebbs & flows.

I saw on mercari they were having issues and customer support was being overwhelmed. Hopefully it get figured out!

Just the reason why I am not doing Mercari at all. I don’t know what is going on with Mercari. My sales are up and down on eBay and for some which is great I am selling items that have been up for awhile and not my newer listings. Not going to complain. And yes you are right postage should be figured for Monday especially if you giving the cheaper shipping. Enough said. Have a great day. Safe travels Robert.

It is dangerously easy on Mercari for the "seller pays shipping" option to be marked. I have had multiple instances in which that has burned me and now I'm extra careful when listing. I've realized that "seller pays shipping" is the default for Mercari and even if you indicate "buyer pays shipping" as your default, the Mercari default sometimes doesn't change over to what you've indicated in your settings. Mercari has some problems.

Hey Rebel and Robert, Have you ever had Ebay change your promoted listings amounts? I have just over 200 listings and almost all of them doubled. For a $25.99 item I will put between 2.1 - 2.5 as the promo amount. I just happened to notice today as I was adding a keyword that the promo was 5.1. I went through half of them and changed them back and will finish the rest in the morning. Damn, now I have to also check Mercari for shipping as I to NEVER do free shipping. Time suck for sure.
