Hey everyone! Essence RPG creator here, just wanted to point out some of the issues seen in the video concerning my pack: -The "Hunt" bow reverts to the vanilla bow texture when firing in this video. This seems to be an issue with the combined resource pack used here. -"Hand of Formation" is using a texture from another pack in the video. This one actually *is* my fault and should be getting fixed soon. The item is intended to look like a stone sword. -Illus the Ascendant appears to have a skeleton walking around inside of him. I believe this is an issue with Optifine, though I'm not entirely sure what the cause is (I've never observed this issue myself nor received bug reports about it). @@gastho4798 Nah, it's mine. I have the Hand of Formation set to generate with CustomModelData, but the item doesn't actually have a custom model. It's a bit of bad practice from back when I was first starting out with making datapacks, but wasn't aware it could be an actual issue until recently.

It highly depends on your specific needs. At simplified end product is basically the same, but the methods make some key advantages. For instance, datapacks allow you to make modded multiplayer content easily without making other players get a custom client. But on the flip side, mods don't have to work around as many weird restrictions that datapacks deal with. Both have there place!

so how does one download all of these data packs and combine them into 1 world

I might make a video about this at some point, but the simplest way basically you download all the packs in the description, use a tool like Mitochondria (look it up) to combine all the resource packs into 1 pack, then you hit the datapack button during world creation and move all the datapack files into it. Make them all active in the in game menu and load up the world with the resource pack active, and there you go. You'll probably want to designate more RAM to MC if you do, but thats too hard to explain in a comment so just look up a tutorial (hard to explain but it's not hard to do)
