Yes I am as well, the beginning was very simple by him removing the rusted piece of the nail and then using an image to trace it out on the metal. However, when he got to the intricate parts of it, I was very interested. So much time and precision into each of those carvings. All the sanding, slight shiving, and carving would add so much extra time. Especially for those pieces to make the blade curved. I don’t know how to explain it, but it was very interesting since I’m currently working to be an engineer.

I love that he quickly improvises a forge. From ordinary household items. And kaowool and castable refractory he inexplicably has lying around.

The best part was where you didn't talk at all and instead showed me the process; the very engaging series of cuts(weird as they were) was the icing on this wonderful cake. The rewatchability is also great.

For a bit there, the music was intense, no words, nothing but this forging process and my stress and anxiety came to say hello. I dont even know.

It was harder for him to dig and put a large rusty nail there than making the sword

Uhmm, the sword his harder. He had to keep hitting it while burning it in heat. Then he had to rub it with other metal. Then had to use a saw to cut it. I'd say he can cut his finger from the saw. Digging and reputting the screw is easy with a shovel.
