I TROLLED This Chess Hustler Into Thinking I Was A Beginner
Ойындар
In this video, I went to Union Square Park and tried to make my opponent think I was a beginner in chess. His name is Tyrone and is a super nice guy that loves teaching chess! This was all just in good fun, and my opponent took it really well when I told him my real strength.
A chess hustler is just someone that plays chess on the streets for money. Union Square Park is a famous chess hustling NYC park, where hustlers play visitors from all over the world.

This was all just in good fun! Tyrone was really nice and you should play him if you're ever in Union Square Park. Chess hustling typically just means playing street chess for small amounts of money. I told Tyrone after this game my true strength and he took it really well. Thanks for watching

I have no idea how your videos came to my attention, I don't even play chess, but I am glad it did. You are an amazing player with a smile that can brighten a rainy day.
Hi ! Now wasn't that easy to watch, two remarkable people playing chess so humble, so helping and you gain a new friend !✌️🙏 I wish everybody got along this well in the whole world ! It definitely would be the way to go for the long haul , journey in your life ! "Why can't we be friends , why can't we be friends" ?? ✌️🙏🇺🇲🇬🇧
He seems like such a kind genuine dude. He was my favorite part. Playfully aggressive, but so friendly.

Hustlers tend to play aggressive trying to force a blunder.
I like how after you start beating him he's still intent on offering suggestions and giving lessons.

She was only beating him at the very end when he blundered with Rd2 instead of h5.
Can we acknowledge that this guy saw the mate in 8 and played into it to see if she could follow through. What an absolute unit!
What a cool guy Tyrone is - seven years I lived in NYC, never once saw him there (I played with hustlers in Washington SQ park usually). Good game.
Dude could have a twitch channel. He is sweet and explains things very well.

That’s actually a good idea. These twitch/KZread players who hustle the hustlers should be kind and introduce them to the platforms and help them get set up

Let the guy enjoy his last days in the sunny park instead of alone, behind a screen or fixated to a smartphone
Moments like this make me remember, there is so much "good" in this world. So nice and heartwarming

ya but you know why you are saying that. because most times when 2 people like this meet eachother you know one is in danger if they are alone for 2 seconds. you felt the need to make this comment because you know this isn't the norm.

@@Bmetalful i dont know if i understand you right.. What i ment in my comment was, there is no Egoism to see in this video and chessgame between this two beautiful blissed humans. Very friendful and respectful, like they know each other for hundreds of years. This is how every person on earth should be..
An enjoyable watch. He’s a good man. GG
I love the level of verbosity on both sides as I learn the thinking process of every move! Very valuable information ℹ️🤗
I one time played this man, ooofff boy did i get humbled and he was even coaching me throughout my own moves xD, he offered to help teach me afterwards but i haven't had the time to return to union square. glad to see Tyrone is still being Tyrone.

Where were you when you played against him. I know where but can you enlighten me?
Shout out to you Ty! He is a teacher of the game and a humble man! Wish there were more gentle heart like him in this crazy world.
I admire you, Anna. You're amazing as a genius and as a human. Your humility is the best beyond your brain. Blessings and take care!
Loved watching this game. Loved Ty’s commentary band love of the game.
This guy is so cool, what a sweet guy! It's always awesome to see kind people just having fun playing chess
you know it's a real game when it's not about winning or losing, but finishing and learning.
At 10:53, Tyron had a winning move(Rd1) that would secure him the queen and ultimately the game. However, the pressure was high, and he missed that crucial move. Ana saw an opportunity and pulled a stunning move by sacrificing her bishop, which led to a checkmate against Tyron. The game was intense, and the stakes were high, but Ana's quick thinking and strategic moves won her the match.
I love seeing this, just two good people having a game of chess
two lovely people, playing what they love most in the most wholesome way possible. I loved it.

Such a great guy. You can see he has a great mind by the way he tackles the whole situation. Humble and very, very smart.

You're absolutely right!
Guy was very clear in explaining what he was doing
This was incredible. The back and forth taught us all something
I don't play chess but the fact that two totally different people playing together and having great fun also made me happy. He is such a great sport and she is so adorable sitting and playing with him was worth the watch :)
his love for the game shines through so much and it's beautiful. Best kind of player imaginable
It was really great hearing something other than "take, take, take"
Great kind guy! I wish him all the best.
What a lovely man. He's teaching people as he plays, and knew when you had him, and congratulated you for it.
That dude's amazing! So caring and explained everything well. You need to play him without feigning that you're a beginner and see how you both fair.
Plot twist: You're the Chess Hustler Who Trolled Us Into Thinking it Was Him.
Me putting my head in my hands when Anna blunders a + 7.6 position into a draw meanwhile having no idea what the best move was nor any clue why the position was winning
Enjoyed every moment of it. One of the best chess games I have ever watched. Fun, friendly and fantastic 👏 And subscribed 😁

Whenever I played chess I didn't say a word. Stop talking and the number of times she said Yar, Oh please just concentrate and you might have beaten him.
He was so informative and kind to you. I love him his energy his understanding of the game and how he explains what he does and why it's wholesome! Big up Ty!
This is hands down THE MOST informative chess video I've ever seen. Makes me realize maybe I do have the mental capacity to get into chess. Now... If only I had the time 😅
So brilliant to see Tryone giving this teaching game. The chess community is amazing!
I haven't played chess since school, but loved watching Ty playing and coaching...A real gentleman who obviously loves the game...
