as much as I love these videos, there is some logic to why people take the game so seriously. These people are trying to play the game a specific way and made these servers with the intent to play that way. You wouldn’t want to play monopoly where one of the players makes up their own rule to collect 2k after passing go or to gain a hotel on every property they buy for free. It’s a breach of the rules that’s unacceptable and wouldn’t always be fun if everyone did it as well. Now some players, like the first guy, do take it too far by attempting to make the interaction aggressively personal, but casual people asking a troll to stop breaking the rules is not “taking the game too seriously”, they just want to continue playing their game with the rules they were given.

great video. also want to point out this weird thing, on professional rp servers they actually allow you to shoot police and get into gun fights and run people over (typically after getting into beef with the other players character but sometimes without beef like literally just want to go round killing police you can do it, they will chase you down and stuff, they seem to be alright with mass murder as long as you dont abuse the mod stuff (like spawn vehicles and stuff while in rp situations with other players), where as these budget ones ban you for shooting a guy who shot you first sometimes, makes no sense XD

I think even better would be enabling AI police so you can go on mass shootouts and also do godmode, spawn stuff since you just fight ai controlled npcs by Rockstar

Reminds me when I played gta online with my boyfriend at the time and I was following traffic signs, lights and rules. Then some dudes in a helicopter started following me and they were laughing for 5 minutes straight because they had never seen anyone drive like you're supposed to. Fun memories 😆
