This is a great video. I have not seen many ''content creation oriented'' videos on ZZ, and this one did not disappoint at all. You also seem very informed on the different ways to do ZZ and have not defaulted to EOline simply because it was the original way to do the first step. It really feels like you put research into it, and it shows when you explained it to the viewers (and also the description has up to date info on ZZ, which is awesome!!!!). I main ZZ and I would not be ashamed to share this video with other people to show how it's like to solve with the method. Keep making videos, this one was awesome!!!!!!!

I am SUPER thankful for this video, AND for the fact you did EO cross. I am an EO line solver, but that's only because I enjoy it more, not because it's better. Most cubers don't know about EO cross and they just look at EO line and say "This sucks!"

Great video! Watching your 1 month with roux video inspired me to start practicing with roux for a while, and I got a pb of 20.66! I average about 13.5 with CFOP so I probably won’t be sub 15 for a while, but I’m gonna learn ZZ and start practicing it! I believe that the more methods you learn, even if you don’t switch to them full time, can greatly improve your knowledge of the cube, and block building especially. Also, the editing and every other part of this video was great! I enjoyed this video more than 95% of top cubing KZreadrs videos! Keep up the grind and I’m sure that you’ll blow up!

I’m a ZZ solver In beginner ZZ, you would solve EO, and then Cross as 2 seperate steps. What EOCross is is where you essentially mould your EO solution to force a better cross. For example, when you solve edges with an F move, you might chose to do an F’ instead of an F in order to align 2 cross edges opposite. With no influencing EOCross averages like 12 moves, but with it, it can be like 8 moves, which is a lot more efficient, and more importantly, makes planning first pair slightly less of a nightmare.

One of the benefits of doing ZZ is that you can reduce your movecount by block building after EO line. Ie pairing a cross piece with a corner and an edge at the same time. For a CFOP solver this technique requires a lot of effort before it gets effective. It's like a CFOP user doing blocks in Roux by using F2L pairings, its faster in the beginning but much less effective and defeats the purpose.
