L.A. Girl used to be a really low quality brand that wasn’t worth it, even at their very low price point. But in the last few years they have been on an upswing and have started to produce some much better products that are actually worth taking a look at.

Are you kidding? LA Girl has always had some amazing products. Their concealer is still my holy grail and many MUAs used to and still use that concealer on clients. Maybe they can update their packaging lol

I think a lot of people get LA Girl and LA Colors confused. La Colors sucks and LA Girl makes great affordable makeup!

The eye shadow pallet is giving me Nars Fall eyeshadow pallet vibes!!! I might need that!

The LA Girl foundation is my fave. I can go in lightly for an everyday look, or a little more for medium coverage. I wore it at a more medium coverage for my prom actually and it looked stunning both in person and in photos

I love how great drugstore makeup is these days. It’s definitely giving high end a run for its money. I’ve always loved the Maybelline Lash Stiletto and would love to hear your thoughts.

Agreed! I feel like high end is mainly for aesthetics with the way drugstore is catching up

Please do end of day follow ups with these videos!! It would be great to see how all the products worked over day. Did the mascara flake, smudge? Did the foundation get cakes? I want to know how the brow gel held up. I have so many questions! But I love your videos, and you are so positive and sweet!

I use the essence lip liners all the time. Sometimes, in a rush, i use it as lipstick. Feels great, lasts long on my lips, comes in really nice colours(I have at least two of every colour) and they are so affordable on ANY budget!

I’m so surprised you hadn’t tried LA girl eyeshadow before. Their 16 pan square palettes are amazing quality too.

Drugstore makeup has come such a long way. Its so nice to know that things are made with such better quality these days and that not everything will make me break out

Oh my gosh! You took my mascara suggestion and I’m fangirling over here. The moment I saw the eyeshadow look I knew the maybelline mascara would be underwhelming. But I love it paired with just some highlighter on the lid. My favorite!

L.A Girl pro concealer is also similar to the foundation tint. I use it EVERYDAY. It’s extremely natural and it covers up my dark circles really nicely. It doesn’t crease it’s crack on me at all!

I'm definitely inspired to try that palette. I love the metallic look.

I'm glad you're doing this! Lately, after years of looking for "better" (aka pricier) products for makeup and skin, I have gone back to drugstore products, because they're what I can afford If I am completely honest with myself. Plus, if you get the same quality product and pay at least half the price, you can do better things with that money.

The look is stunning. I use the exact blush. I'm intrigued by the foundation.

I love the wet n wild tinted moisturizer but the fair one is very pale and the medium tone is very peachy. Can't speak to the deep one. I also tried the essence tinted moisturiser but the coverage is extremely sheer. It's more of a skin tint

Ulta 3 in 1 palette is my favorite summer cheeks! I get that just spent the day in the sun look! Plus it saves time if you swipe the bronzer and the blush at once! 😊

I’m so happy to hear someone mention this Revlon lipstick formula! It’s seriously one of my staples and I can count on it lasting for HOURS. You have to try the Untold Stories shade! It is the perfect no-makeup mauve/nude (especially for fair skin tones like mine). 🤩

I can’t believe it! Allie used my favorite bronzer and highlight on my recommendation! I have the same shade “Santorini Sun”. I love it for summer and took it on vacation. It lasted all day in Missouri humidity and through water rides at a theme park!

Awesome video!! Ulta products are no joke!! I have become obsessed with their mineral spf 30 tinted face lotion. I literally got it for free last year as part of a free gift with purchase and now I use it every day instead of foundation. I’ll just spot conceal if I need to afterwards. If you have combo or oily skin, lemme tell you..this keeps you looking fresh ALL DAY. 😍

Wow great recommendations !! I love Essence lip liners 💕also LA Girl’s “Perfect Precision Lipliners” are BOMB they rival MAC liners. My favorite color is “Sugar & Spice” but there are so many beautiful colors. They go on like a dream-never skip or get those dry bits like some pencil liners do. I’ve repurchased at least 4 times maybe more 😱😂

Yessss! That 3 pan pallette from ulta, bronzer blush and highlighter, is one of my holy grails. It is the easiest and best thing to grab when you are trying to hurry a bit. I have 2 different colors and I want a third. I've hit pan on the bronzer in the 2 I have. Lol I heard about them originally from Emily Noel. Loveee ❤️

LA GIRL FOUNDATION MIXING PIGMENTS!! White if its too dark (works on concealer too) blue if its too yellow!! If I could recommend anything from LA girl it would definitely that and eyeliners, Lip liners but the number one thing would absolutely be the foundation mixing pigment. that's super sad that I did not see your post, I wouldve begged you to try ... An absolute must have. Been using it for a year, maybe 2 years and it just recently went viral. Not to mention if you have those they seriously will last forever and you won't have to purchase 2 shades of any foundation.

Kiko is so good and affordable! They also have great nail polish selection! You won’t regret ordering 💜 I’m excited for you to try it 🤩

They have great products. Their gel eyeliner pencils are brilliant..I've been wearing the metallic turquoise last 2 months

Oh wow, nice to see the essence lip liner - legendary is my favorite "my lips but a bit more visible" shade, i actually have a backup of it already. The essence blush is also a good one! Though my favorite from that line is the one that is discontinued (at least where i live) - number 50, blooming. I'm quite pale, so for me it's perfect when I want to look alive, but not like I have makeup on (zoom calls et al), so if you can find it, I do recommend giving it a whirl - I haven't seen that shade of neutral-y pinky light blusher from many other brands, but it can be surprisingly flattering

Great video! That LA Girl palette is one of my absolute favs! Many of my high end palettes don't perform as well as this one!

This video was the perfect video for you to try the double mascara stacking technique since the maybelline mascara was just lengthening. You should do a video on trying that technique. Your lashes don’t need it AT ALL but it’d be a fun experiment

Ulta Beauty's baked bronzer(not the trio just plain bronzer) is really good too. Its one of my go to's that i use every day. It has a cooler tone with a slight sheen and very blend able💜
