I love that Allie didn't instantly dismiss the product that was Pilling and balling up, just took off her skincare and tried again. Definitely not a brand snob, really refreshing to see x

@@harry4319 Actually really depends, brands like Pat mcgrath, Laura Mercier, Charlotte Tilbury and many more high end brands don’t test on animals. Most items in a drugstore, from Revlon to Max Factor to L’oreal to Maybelline all test on animals. It’s easier to find a luxury or even mid range product that’s cruelty free, since drug store items are almost always sold in China since drug store is more popular worldwide and sells more.

Holy crap your natural lashes are to die for- they honestly look like false lashes when you put the mascara on! Amazing girl- loved this video.

your husband is so sweet omg 🥺also this video has really cemented for me that i literally... never need to buy a high end product since drugstore makeup is SO good now!

It’s true. The drugstore had to step it up to compete. Drugstore isn’t even that cheap anymore 😅 lol but I’m all for the dupes. I don’t have $100 to shell out on 2 products, or even just one for that matter lol

I have this happen with mineral products, both mineral foundations and mineral sunscreen. It’s frustrating. I don’t know much on the topic, but I think it has to do with my moisturizer not being water soluble. And minerals are water soluble. Don’t quote me though, not 100% sure. It’s something that I would like took further into.

Really? I feel like eyeshadow is one of those things that looks great on everyone, no matter the color. It's more so the technique that matters than the actual color imo. She definitely does beautiful looks though.

Oh, I just commented above, I must try the Maybelline one, but I also recommend Nyx in Nude Suede Shoes. I have the CT lipstick and this pencil matches it 100%.

Wow it's crazy how close these dupes are! Besides the shimmery eyeshadow that looks a little different it's undetectable. Thank you Allie for being such a positive place on yt, your love and devotion to this channel and community is inspiring, can't wait for you to have a million subscribers!!

A few dupes you should totally try next time is the essence false lash princess mascara and the benefit roller lash, and the revlon micro eyeliner with the hourglass micro liner! I love the revlon and essence mascara!

But how did the dupe side hold up? I really am curious about the longevity of the products. I love the video concept and would like more of these. Thank you!

Personally, I've never gotten Revolution eyeshadows to stay as well as other formulas and especially more expensive formulas. Very unfortunate because I like their dupes! I have oily eyelids and use Milani or NARS eye primer..

@@mariekevee4501 I personally have had luck with the Smashbox 24hr eye primer. A tiny, tiny amount goes a long way! I have oily lids, and that one is what works best for me (way better than Urban Decay primer potion and other formulas I've tried).

After having watched a number of makeup artists’ channels, I thought that I would let you know that yours is, by far, my favorite, because you are an excellent teacher. 👏 Many other makeup channels come across as quite elitist in terms of the products used and skills taken for granted, and therefore are kind of overwhelming to me, personally. I love watching these types of comparison videos! It confirms my belief that you don’t need to spend a ton of money on makeup. There are affordable products that look and wear just as good, if not better than, the high end stuff. Once you get the makeup on your face, no one can tell what brands you’re wearing. 😊💄✨

Insanely crazyyy....drugstore products have changed so much in the last 10 years! I remember shopping at Walmart and there were literally just 5 foundation shades and almost all the brands had one shade name in common "IVORY" 😂😂 Great video though, please do some more cuz there are loads more drugstore dupes!

@@AnaC143 Ana it is not drying AT ALL. I have dry skin and it has never made it look dry. Unlike most powders which enhance wrinkles the No 7 actually flattened them out. Amazing!

I bought the elf cc cream yesterday and I wore it today and girl!!! My face looked sooo dewy I LOVED IT. I already have oily skin but I still love that dewy healthy look, the cc cream looked great, great color match, and it minimized my pores like so far, I’m obsessed! Ps. Minimum residue in my mask too!

The most amazing last dupe I found.... Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow in the shade Smoke is exactly THE SAME as Kiko Milano Water Eyeshadow in the shade 200 Champagne... the texture feels different but the longevity, shade is the same... the price is different. Hourglass retails for 31,95€ and the Kiko Milano for 8,95€ Loved the drugstore look more, it was super fun... sending you a hug from Austria 😊
