Fellow Alberta here too! It’s people like you that help keep me inspired, ignore the cold and snow and get to work. I’ll probably just watch the first few minutes of this one over and over again because It reminds me that someone else is out there feeling blah and pushing past it! I’m just finishing a landscape now that wasn’t supposed to be a landscape but evolved that way and has been a WIP for about a year and... yours looks so much better 😅 I love the different material sizes and textures you’ve used, I went with essentially crochet/knitting yarn the whole way through and I’m only finishing it so that it’s done and not consigned to eternity in the WIP pile.

Turned out really cute. You always give me inspiration for my own weavings.

A quick short on needle felting a flower onto merino roving would be greatly appreciated. Do you literally just punch it in with the needle? Does it actually stay there, no glue for example? Cheers

Thank you! This is a piece of driftwood I think my parent's picked up for me while on Vancouver Island. I live in the prairies so I have very little access to driftwood lol
