Throughout these past few months, I have been sucked into the world of speedrunning Minecraft Java Edition version 1.16, and after being recommended a video about Minecraft Education Edition, I thought this would be not only fun to try out, but to edit and create!

Making a world record speed run in education edition minecraft is impossible without going in creative mode,or possibly hacking.

If I were speedrunning MC Bedrock, I too would experience existential crisis
I love how its a speedrun of education edition, but he literally never encounters or uses any of the education edition features... which means its just a strangely emotional _bedrock_ speedrun. XD
After reading a few comments I would like to clarify that in bedrock both now and at the time of this video portal rooms are kind of bugged and will spawn disconnected from the stronghold, there will be no hallways connecting to it and are usually just behind a few block thick wall or even up to several blocks away

yep i remember i made a new world and then i tried finding the portal room and it was disconnected from the stronghold and it took me 2 hours to find it because i had to mine blocks were there would be doors, etc

As a bedrock player I will say that finding the portal getting into the end and fighting the dragon is way harder in bedrock than it is in Java the new patterns and levitation and four texts that you spoke of are all regular happenings when I play and try to beat the game. It’s pretty hard but as long as you get a pattern and practice beforehand it gets easier and easier but yeah it’s not something I would recommend because it is way more boring and not as fun in my opinion as Java, I realize this isn’t bedrock, but it might as well be

His hard work is very visible
I’ve gotten really good at speedrunning education edition after I saw a lot of my friends do it! My best is 34:28 I think that’s really good

Omg, it really made me angry when we didn’t know the “new” mechanics. Luckily, he figured out that it was Bedrock. PHEW! That was a close one!
Tip in bedrock strongholds are usually under villages so if you see a village that just so happens to be on your path then mine down near there.

@@TurnaboutAkamia I fought the Wither on my friends realm server on Xbox and I had full netherite with maxed out tools and potions and was like "I'm overprepared". It took the Wither like 30 seconds to kill my ass lol. I was way too careless. Luckily my friends got my items and, with Totems of Undying, we killed it after about 10 minutes. It is crazy how prepped you have to be to fight it lol. Way harder than the Dragon

@@kromerguy Peaceful any% speedruns are only possible in pre-1.9, where cleric villagers sell eyes of ender. Getting to the end in a peaceful world is impossible in all recent versions.

Not just education edition. Bedrock in general has I think 2/3 strongholds in the entire world have portals and it can be frustrating to find a stronghold and see no portal.

@@SprayInk-And-CritGlitchI’m not wrong I’ve seen it before. When I was going to find the stronghold I made it to the stronghold and had nothing but one room and one room only. There was no libraries, and no portal room. I had to find another one not too far away but I was still kinda mad that I wasted a couple of eyes. It is true it’s just that you could either find a stronghold with a portal and without a portal. It’s basically a coin flip. Plus there’s only 128 strongholds in a Minecraft world

Ender dragon: purges before you die so it can kill you again when you spawn back in, fires lingering instant damage effects that are near invisible, destroys literally every block that isnt end stone, obsidian, bedrock, dragon egg, iron bar, or portal frame. Wither: Double java edition wither hp, deals damage through protection, is immune to potion effects, 2.5% of the skulls are blue wither skulls (compared to java editions 0.1%), and doesnt despawn. Ever. Elder guardian: Nothing really, just does slightly more damage

@@SlymeMD oh hey slime, 1. There is a broken thing in bedrock edition that makes the end portal not generate, it is VERY rare tho. 2. You could have used eader pearl to crit bug the dragon!

Да... Я русский, но переводчик работает. Как игрок, проходивший Bedrock Edition десятки раз, игравший телефона, планшета и компьютера, могу сказать: Bedrock действительно сложнее пройти, ведь портал может даже не появиться вовсе. В любом случае, его найти сложнее. И битва с драконом - ад по сравнению с Java: хитбокс у дракона другой, в итоге попасть по нему крайне сложно. А чтобы взорвать защищённые кристаллы придётся строиться наверх - ведь стрелы не пролетают сквозь забор!
