We went there in march as well and we actually met the same military guy you met at zing zing bar, his superior at that checkpost and he was willing to let us go through after some persuasion and some other vehicles as we had already made calls from darcha checkpost. Brilliant guy, simply told us, road toh pura open hai bs aise kaise jaane doon zimevari hojati hai but then et us through with a stern warning to not go ahead of baralachala pass. Most memorable journey of the year

On 18 Feb 2023 we had driven up to exactly where you start your video from - the crossing of Shinku La and Baralacha la. The Baralacha La entry was closed with huge amounts of snow there. For Shinku La we could still drive a few more kms up but it was closed some 15 kms ahead. The news that all routes to Leh have been opened was published a couple of weeks ago but on the ground the routes are probably not open. It would be good to see when you reach Leh. And the pump i see at Zing Zing Bar must be only for BRO.
