Khalid, The best biryani I had in UAE is at Al Saad Restaurant in Ras Al Khaimah. They have something called Matka Biryani and it's the greatest biryani I ever had. You should try it someday. 🙂

The 1st lady selling biryani for 3 dirhams are blessing for the humanity. Some people might not understand how hard life a worker has when he has low income and have to support himself and family back at home for them these places are not less than a blessings and how much prayers you get from those needy people. Exactly a biryani is a family dish in India. No restaurant in the world can mix mother's love that is put in preparation of of a homemade biryani! For me the best biryani in the world is the one that my mom makes for me.

@@rajeshkannan4154 nope you are wrong. Iran has no native rice cultivation so its kinda impossible that biryani comes from iran. The truth is, what existed in Iran was a seasoned fried meatpiece rolled in Iranian flatbread , this dish was called beryan. You can search " Ishafahani Beryan", its still popular in Iran but has negligible resemblance to our biryani. The truth is that elements and cooking methods of this irani beryan mixed with an ancient indian rice dish during the medieval eras to form Biryani

The last part was the most beautiful The Love with which a mother feeds her children is Priceless❤

So very true! A Biryani is all about family's love, the commercial ones are made by chefs who do it as a job, but the home made Biryani on Yaum Jumu'a, Eid, family get togethers is all about family. In around 1988 I was once invited for Iftar at one of our workmates in Dubai. The family were from Kerela, South India and they put up a beautiful table for us with so many different dishes. And, the center dish was the Biryani, it was one of the best I ever had.

Well I can not believe that you got me to tears with your food and the Lucky MAMA with the last meals U got. I have to say that in this video I was a bid takin buy your city and I was not sure to look at you with your Dubai person. I alway had an attitude with the man that wore a robe and the situation was awful with the someone's king in your city. When I watched the terrible funny video for 3 minutes were shocked. Well, Yemeni Biryani comes from Indian. When the Brits occupied South Yemen (South Arabia) in the port city of Aden, they brought the Indians from Hyder Abbad. The East India company in 1839. And since then, we learned from them, and we made our own version of Biryani called Zurbian mixed with meat or chicken and has coloured rice (yellow/red/white). The South Yemeni flat bread is called Khobz and looks like the Indian Tandoori Parather (only on a large scale). Our flat bread is big. Our Chatney and Ashar (pickle lime) is out of this world. Oh not forgetting Samboosa, Bajiya, Khameer and much more. Our Sweets (Halwa) has the Indian ones as well as the traditional South Yemeni one. Plus we do Aseed which is wheat (look up Aseed) عصيده I love my South Arabian food but then am Biased
