I've come to the conclusion that it just isn't a dating app. It's a live streaming app. The dating profiles are either fake or questionable. I feel like they're ignoring the dating aspect and will eventually phase it out and just be a streaming app. And then on that what you'll typically see is men simping in the chat on the streamer who is likely just there to shill for her social media accounts or men making fools of themselves in the date box trying to chat up the streamer.

I get fed up of people calling meetme a dating app tbh... i know that's how it started off .... but it's becoming less and less like that , sure through chatting and networking people might still date etc . But i wouldn't exclusively call it a dating app anymore, but if you're using it through zoosk or pof then i guess it will always be seen as "dating" . But overall It's not exactly Okcupid or Tinder or something . The fact it's heavily a streaming app and it's merged with other apps , which A. is for money making and B. is to create more traffic of people to the overall meetme group platform. I've seen so many streamers and other users get confused by the whole ' merged side' of things. You get people only treating it as a dating app , then you get other people questioning how they could be in a relationship yet still browse the app or live stream. When it's more than obvious ... it's entirely a streaming app to gift streamers and watch them 🤷‍♀. And it's about making friends more than ever, aswell as competing to get the most diamonds and favourites if you stream yourself. But i guess it's whatever you want it to be , but i honestly think meetme might aswell drop the 'dating' side of things, especially the date box on the streams which i always found a bit cringe . They should call it a chat box or something .

@@gemstar7286 It is confusing with the merging of other apps. I originally found out about MeetMe because OK Cupid had enabled the streaming feature with feeds from MeetMe and other apps. People were surprised to find out I was on OK Cupid and not MeetMe. OK Cupid has now disabled live streaming. To be fair, it can be quite entertaining to see some guy in the date box try and fail and the girl streamer is just ignoring him. I keep trying to look if KZread has mashed up videos of the best bits of MeetMe streaming but have yet to find anything. Someone should screen record and edit together the best bits. My favorite was of a makeup cosplay streamer drunk in her rented large house, trying to catch a spider and whining "aaaaaah what i do burn the house down..."

That's exactly what happened too POF and Facebook dating as well! MOST Men in the USA 🇺🇸 are PATHETIC SIMPS that worship women!!!! Yeah the app is garbage but I actually met a friend from here 5 years ago back in 2017 surprisingly and me and her still talk today. Everyone else on the app though... Are mostly fake accounts

@@pootypump7440i met a girl, hooked up with her and she..had alot of fucken problems. Ended up dumping her. Matched again on there years later, hooked up again. Tried dating until she lied about getting raped. And then she hopped on that app and is constantly on there. Its kinda weird and i question if i should get myself checked after that… watched this video tho bc this one weird girl i met today insisted on using google messages.. definitely sketched out by that..

Sir do you still believe in true love despite it all? It is nice to know another single guy and others in comments dealing with it. Sort of a shared community. You try to convey what it is like to a long married guy or a woman and they will look at you like you are totally nuts. This is why alot of guys walked away from dating.
