@silentferret1049 Жыл бұрын
Whats happening is the tightening system on it is cheapish so even though its "tighten" down, the jerk of the chain will still move the bar so it will tighten on the push cut and loosen on the pull cut. Normally jerky or hard cutting will cause it and cutting something dry like a dried 4x4 can do that.

Exactly. I already had the 40v batteries for my ryobi mower, so I just got the chainsaw that uses the same batteries

Battery powered chainsaws are great on paper but when you really have to do some cutting gas is the way to go in my experience. I did tree work for 7 years.

@@themightycrixus1131 You're right but battery chainsaws are great for pruning, small work, and way better than this item. My comment is more to him saying if he could "get a high quality of this" at that point one should get a real chainsaw, battery one, or even a corded one. His "liking" the product is to save on buying/reducing cost of multiple tools. Like you said you would not use a battery for actual tree work, well you would not use this tool either.
My lord unplug it before playing around with the chain! Thanks for the honest revisit
“It’s like it was made for it” That because it was Tyler.
Dude at 6:17 you editing made me jump, i literally thought that thing started when you where holding the chain
You wanna tighten the chain just enough to where it holds itself in to the bar. That’s what I’ve done with my chainsaw. That may be different. Either way that Bauer grinder is nice too. I’ve had one for over a year and still going strong.
To eliminate overheating, you'll need to put some bar oil on the saw bar every so often. Other than that, looks awesome! 👍🤘
Try putting bigger bars on it. See how big of a log it can cut.

Back when I was remodeling houses sure could have used this. The electric chain saw that I used was too big a lot of times.
Worked at hf for 2 years. Honestly they’ve got a decent amount of good stuff. But I have learned which items to never ever buy lol. Lots of battery chargers came back, obviously the cheap cheap power tools. Hand tools, generators, and engines seemed solid for the most part
Tyler has the mechanical aptitude of a ferret that got into his uncle's medicinal gummy stash.
Wow, that thing is crazy dangerous. You'd have no control of kickback especially if it started to loosen up.
The chain got hot that's why it got loose metal expands when it gets hot you probably need to put some oil on that chain I doubt that thing has self-moving borrow on it so you should probably put some bar oil on it that's why it's getting hot
This guy perfectly fits the look of someone who enjoys 'Grindr' 😂
That thing just has to be part of the Darwin award selection process.
Literally every time Tyler said literally I literally had the thought to count how many times he says literally that would literally be literal
It is awesome that he reads the comments Satisfies my stupid "what ifs"
"if you want a chainsaw don't buy a grinder chainsaw just buy a chainsaw" lol
Looking forward to the third part of this trilogy
Is it just me or did everyone else close there eyes when he kept touching the chain wile the power still on 😂😂
Not too keen on him touching the chain whilst it's still plugged in!
Some grinders, the part the button is on can swivel. It’ll probably make it a bit more comfortable to use instead of a button on the side.
I have that exact grinder. It’s great
A wodensday Tyler video? Sweet.
My saws do that. Also you never want to tighten the chain when it's hot. Let it cool down then tighten. I've seen where someone tightened the chain when it's hot and when it cooled down it am sometimes warp the crank and damage the clutch drum and bearings
I always enjoy your videos
We have a bolens weed eater at lowes and it has a bunch of attachments that can go on it. And some other ones that go on other but most stuff fits on bolens. I’m in Louisiana but maybe you have the same stuff.

I need to look at my cordless Milwaukee grinder and see if it will fit and I may pick one up
That style clamp on the Harbor Freight grinder is called a V-band style clamp
My guess as to why it’s slower at cutting now than before is just that the Bauer grinder doesn’t get up to as high of rpm’s as the Milwaukee or that the torque is different between the two. Either way love the video and update 👍
@thatguybrody4819

if i'm not mistaken it's a bit of both but more the torque. Project Farm is your friend when it comes to testing brands and their products about as fairly as you can.
As a Milwaukee guy I can also say that I had no idea grinders were made different than Milwaukee
The chainsaw chain *should * get looser as you use it thanks to thermal expansion... Getting tighter has to be unique to how this thing works lol
if you do get a cordless version show us thee video of it please.
Amazing you still have all your fingers
That would work awesome on sculptures😮😮😮
Absolutely rock solid. Thats what she said..
Am I the only one that jumped when he touched the chain and then the flashback started? I thought for a split-second he started it while touching the chain.
Harbour freight has some decent power tools... I got a Cordes "sawzall" years ago, abuse it leaving it outside over winter, and it still works. Edit. Cuts 6 inch logs with a pruning blade great. Does about everything I would use a chainsaw for.
Whoo hoo! Another round!
I bought a older version of the saw it worked great
I am actually buying one now. I don't need an actual chainsaw, I just need to cut firewood into smaller pieces for my backyard pit just a few times a year. I already have a harbor freight warrior grinder I bought to grind ONE bolt last year. This would be perfect for my application and put a grinder to use that's otherwise collecting dust. Even the cheapest chainsaws on amazon are 100+ bucks.
dont worries about it, every trady should know that ever tool can be different...

Um harbor freight sells a corded chainsaw that is just less than $50 all day. Half decent, and has bar oil to lube the chain... YOU NEED TO DO A STRESS TEST!!! I CHALLENGE YOU TYLER AS ANOTHER FELLOW TYLER. ANGLE SAW VS CHAINSAW. CORDED POSSIBLY CORDLESS (if you wanna fully test the subject) 😂
