Hi! My name is Leonie and I am a 23 year old girl who loves talking about books! From YA to non-fiction to classics, I read it all (although fantasy will always be my fave). I live in the Netherlands and go to university, but make booktube videos in my spare time :)

I was in a reading slump for the last five or six years. But last month I discovered your channel and other booktubers and now I'm reading again incl. a reading journal. Just like that... I already read over ten books in April and just finished the last book from the Peter Grant Series (crime- fantasy in London 🥰) and I realised how much I love and missed books. Thank you so much for "reminding" me 😁

this video is comfy
I couldn't do 50 pages in the beginning, so I just did a one page rule. I obviously ended up reading more than one page a day, but it's easier to make yourself grab a book if you take the pressure off. Sounds silly but it works hshs love this video and Howl's moving castle!
I didn’t read in a long time but this is going to be day 1. I’m going to read “Another little piece” by Kate karyus Quinn

i think my absolute favorite neil gaiman audiobook is 100% norse mythology. it feels like he's telling you a story around a campfire or telling you a story to help you fall asleep.

Hard to find a favourite Gaiman. I discount Omens as he was flying alongside Sir Terry the creator of worlds and the master of Narrativium. [Thats not to discount Neil's contribution] For me, It's a toss-up between The Ocean at the End of the Lane which is spine chilling whatever age one reads it and The Graveyard Book; discovering which famous children's book inspired Graveyard will astound you and illustrates Gaiman's brilliance as an author.

this video really came literally at the perfect time! i've also been in a reading slump these past few months, but last week i managed to finish a book for the first time in a while and it really made me feel good and got me excited about books once again :) also i loved this video, everything about it made me feel comfy
I love this channel so much. It helped me get back into my love of reading and every time I see a new upload I get really excited (:
This vlog was so super relaxing to watch! Really like your attitude and humour, too. And also seeing you reading up to fifty pages a day is just so NORMAL, this is also really nice to see. I don't like many booktubers running through their books just to get through them fast no matter what. Greetings from Germany :D
I honestly really appreciate you showing how you schedule out your day, I'm about to start an internship for my grad program and I struggle so much to manage my time. Seeing how other people manage it helps a lot so thank you!!
This vlog wasn’t boring at all!! It was super cosy and I enjoy it being just realistic / daily life and cosy ❤️❤️ I loved it
i love your reading vlogs so much !!!!! you inspire me to set goals to myself too!
Your reading vlogs are amazing and so relaxing!🤍🤍
The Ocean at the End of the Lane is my favorite Neil Gaiman, I very much recommend. Also his short story collections are great for listening on audiobook!
Your pronunciation of the word 'castle' is so cute and I live for the cozy vibes this video is giving off!!
I’m almost done with the house in the cerulean sea and I LOVED IT! Highly recommend!

I’m fairly a slow reader but this video just gave me some hype so I’m about to set the same goal for myself this week 😁
Your vlog has made me so happy and full of reading inspo. Thank you🥰
Your videos are the reason I got back into reading. And they're also relaxing :)
For Neil Gaiman books, I would really recommend 'The Graveyard Book' and 'The ocean at the end of the lane'. I found them to be both really entertaining and an easy fun read!
I have watching a lot of booktube lately because of lockdown and all and geez your channel is peculiar and fun I mean I have binged watch 5-6 videos of your channel ❤️ glad to find your channel.
Book Howl is literally my favorite and I'm so excited that you're reading it.
Your reading vlogs are the ones I enjoy most of all on booktube! They never feel boring imo. Reading 50 pages a day is something I'm going to try to put as a goal for myself as well, give or take a few pages! I discovered audiobooks in the beginning of the year and I love them, but I don't want to neglect my physical reads so that might be a realistic goal to set for myself.
Ive been in a reading slump since the beginning of covid 19 and this is really helping me thank you!
Loved this! And I just noticed that there's exactly 7 days left to the end of the month, so it feels like perfect timing for me to try this 50 page challenge too.

I've been in love with Stardew Valley recently and it's the perfect time for me to listen to audiobooks! I always get several hours in and it's the perfect since I no longer have any long commutes to listen during.

Setting a goal to read a certain number of pages per day is so simple, but it's a great idea! I've been listening to a lot of audio books, and that started when I had eye surgery. Now that I'm better, I'm still not reading ebooks, physical books, etc. So I'm gonna try to do that for sure!

I get what you mean when you say it is weird to read at night. For me it is at the end of my day and it just feels weird to do something when the day is over for me. And also, when my brain is active I can't sleep so reading may be a bad idea depending on the book. I personally enjoy reading in the morning in the most because I am up at the crack of dawn and no one else is up and it is the most peaceful and relaxing thing and it only gets better with a cup of tea and a book.
Lets just take a moment and appreciate all Leonie does for us, she litteraly spent 7 hours editing a video for us!

This was such a cozy vlog
I have not read Neverwhere, or honestly much of Neal Gaiman, but you have to read The Ocean at the End of the Lane if you haven't already. That was an amazing book.
Loved this vlog!
Coraline is one of my fav books ever, and I've also read and loved Stardust and The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Gaiman. I really really love his work, and I recommend all of the 3 I mentioned, specially Coraline!
I loved The ocean at the end of the lane by Neil Gaiman. I also read Neverwhere and didn't enjoy it as much. The ocean at the end of the lane felt really magical to me (or at least, that is the part that I remember because then, I gifted the book to a friend who read it while staying at my place and said that it was a bit creepy, especially in the beginnen. And even with this reminder, I can barely remember this part...)

My favorite of Neil Gaiman is his Comic book series Sandman. So dark and so fantastic!!! Also 50 pages seem like a really good number. I might try it...
I have this thing too!!! I usually just read when it's dark and cold, and when I'm alone lolllll
I've been obsessed with stardew valley too!
As a slow reader I really appreciate this video!
I've been in a reading slump since August 20th 2019. I remember because that was the day after I moved to a different state in the US. I try to read because I really do love reading. But video games and KZread has been my main source of entertainment since then. I started a book in October 2020 and just today finished it. It's actually the first book I've finished in 2021. idk how to reignite that passion for books again! ):
If you like Neil Gaiman’s writing style, you should definitely check out Stardust! It’s got fairytale-esque vibes while being very quirky and unique ✨ and I’d also recommend The Graveyard Book, it’s so heartwarming and intriguing, if you haven’t heard of it - it’s about a boy who is raised by ghosts ☺️
