You need to flip the glass to have the “glassy feel”. So you paint the details first and then the background.

I think when you do glass paintings, you have to do them in reverse so the smaller details first then the larger one like;;; you paint the pupil and then cover the whole pupil with white for the eye so you can turn the glass around to get that "glass look"

Really like this vid, I thought you would of done the details first and worked backwards and then flipped it over for the final reveal

I honestly don't mind the lighting. It never bothered me. But I'm proud of how far you've come and how much you've grown! Upgrade away!

I love both painting. The Big Foot stepping on Legos is so cute! On the one where you have clear glass only varnish the painted parts. That will keep the rest of the glass as clear as possible.

Painting on glass is kinda painting backwards. Line work, highlights down to shadows. Cause you paint on the backside then turn over to see the finish product and the glass protects.

I just came from watching Minori's painting on glass, and I love the difference in styles! I find your "Evil" creatures quite interesting and refreshing. =) You did well in making me smile.

“Subscribe to me by selling your soul” Well, I don’t have a soul so what now

I love these!!! Idk if someone else has said or if I just missed in the video why you did it this way but most people actually start with the outline then paint backwards on the glass that way when you flip the glass it looks super clean! You should check out a video of someone making one since I'm bad at explaining it lol. Regardless I love your videos!

A tip for the less splotchy look. Colour over the back with a base colour and it should hide it (Especially for bigfoot because that one would be easier)

They turned out good! The caveman reminds me a little of the villain's sidekick on Rainbow Bright :)

I see no problem with lighting but I understand wanting everything perfect. You’re really making me want posscas lol. Also love the two of them. The expressions are priceless!

I say try drawing on thrift store paintings (or similar). I’ve seen a few you tubers do this and it’s so interesting and cool seeing different art styles mashed up into one piece. Would love to see a Graveyard Loon version! ☺️

I have seen some people layer the glass they draw on to give the effect of a 3d painting. It would be really cool if you did that for the cave man one. The scenery in the back etc cave man at the front :)

The only thing is the anime ones paint the lineart first, then shadows then color, and the actual backside of the glass is the finished product (at least that’s what I’ve seen) it came out really nice though, I love the expressions

i think your light set up is a vibe, IT'S moody and DARK. I think goes well with the theme of the channel. Maybe I'm the minority not obsessed with perfection.

Hey dude really love your stuff! Just so you know why it went different to the images, is because the back of the glass is meant to be the finished piece like in them anime images, you start off with your lights and build up your contours like it was photo shop layers! The back is meant to be messy and the glass side looks like the image! Highly recommend using acrylics too so it’s not transparent! Hope this helps

I saw a video about a new set of posca pens that just came out. It's apparently a bunch of the colours we're currently missing - some deeper tones, and some earth tones. I'm really exited for it to be sold in my country. Posca pens can just fix any blemish in any artwork (It's like that horrible Cillit Bang commercial)

Didn't know if you knew but you can use a plastic sheet and dab posca colors on it and mix the colors with a paintbrush to make more colors. Love the art! :)

I feel like, if you start with outlines and shadows then build up, you could pull off the flip reveal thing.

I love your art work it’s amazing. But I must say for the glass painting you’re supposed to do everything backwards. So draw your picture then paint the details and outlines first then fill in color that way when you flip it over you have the glossy glass effect and a clean finish
