Idc if you say that this is such a stupid idea but I think that making a pasta top take so much patience and creativity, absolutely love this idea

There was this very popular cabaret-like show broadcasting in Italy in the late 90s on every Sunday, where at some point a guy used to "sew" dresses with uncommon/unusual stuff (most of the time out of cutlery, plastic dishes and bottles, etc) and one time he made a couple of evening dresses out of batches of pasta. I was just a kid at the time but I can still remember vividly after all these years how incredible the outcome was.

I love these because it’s like project runway but only focused on one designer. I hope you take on more weird projects. Like making a dress using things from 7/11, or the dollar store.

I REALLY appreciate the fact that the food didn't go to waste. So many other content creators are so wasteful. They'll spends thousands of dollars on disposable items that they destroy for views. What you did really makes a difference, and it does matter. Thank you!

This reminds me of when i used to think spaghetti straps were made with real spaghetti as a kid

I think following through on the silliest of ideas teaches us a lot of valuable information about projects/ideas that we want to try out. Also, those are some happy chickens, getting a bunch of pasta dinners!

I love these crazy idea videos you do; I never know the characters you're doing with cosplay stuff and it can be kinda hard for me to really be invested enough to see how it turns out but these unhinged dresses are always an instant click. I also think it really gets to show off your creative problem solving skills.

First a dress made of pennies, then a ball gown made of IPhone cases, and now a shirt made out of pasta!? You keep surprising me!

If you wanna try uncooked, how about scale mail macaroni shirt? You already know the principal from your copper pennies dress! Although maybe a crochet top with macaroni links or beading would be more practical

I would never make a dress out of pasta, BUT, now I really want to make a weaved dress out of ribbon. Imagine the color combos you could do!!

You can use this technique for making dresses from leaves. That sounds more promising and also more fun

I enjoy my pasta dishes but never crossed my mind to use it as clothing material. This may sound a bit strange but if you want to continue with the food theme for an adhesive, possibly some sort of thick cheese could have worked. I would wonder if something like lasagna would have the strength but maybe not the most flexible or easy to handle. The width of it would probably also serve better for shorts instead of a top.

I think it's so funny that you're weaving something today! 😂 As it reminds me of the dream I had this morning! I was weaving an 1800 butt bustle using what appeared to be old woven basket material the (flat straw type) and then I was attaching to that a tule skirt, in the dream I'm running artificial flowers through the holes of the tule to create a long train of flowers, it looked like a basket of flowers spilling out behind me! And it was simply lovely! my dream was so kind as to give me a drone shot of what it looked like from above while running through a grassy meadow if I had resources and time I would make that dream into a KZread video like this! 😂

I feel like “framing” it with some yarn may have made this work though and it’s so close to functioning!! Like taking a super thick, dull needle & weaving a bit of yarn through all the edges, a couple across the center, & then braiding the pasta over the yarn threads which then tie in the back could save the day lol. But I get it if the main point was trying to exclusively use pasta noodles.
