    This was so cool to see. The newspaper custom print fabric was probably my favorite thing to see. Also kudos to you lt efforts to reduce and reuse throughout this project. Idk who started it, but I've seen different creators experimenting with 3D printing on mesh fabric and creating wearable armor/scales. That might be a cool idea for your next project.     If you’re making stuff with 3D printers soon, I have a suggestion for you: Did you know that you can print on fabric? I’ve been making some cool moving fantasy armour with that technique. You need some sort of pattern of extruded hexagons, circles or other shapes to look like scales or fangs. Then you print the first few layers, pause it and tape down a piece of mesh fabric before resuming printing. In the end it the armour will move with your body, looks so cool!

    I'm glad you aren't afraid of learning new techniques and these two seemed to go off without issues. When you said trash dress, I did wonder what sort of "trash" it was going to be. It didn't dawn on me that it would be fabric scraps.

    The tiny details just brings this to life if that makes sense. I love how much work you put into all of your recreations and ideas. It just shows how much you love what you do and how much fun you're having doing it. That being said this one has to be a masterpiece. From the screen printing to the reusing scraps and even using another dress. I can not express how much I truly loved every step of the journey to make the trash dress

    just a thought: I used Worbla's Cobra cast to iron it into fabric, it makes ist very stiff and able to ignore gravity without loosing flexibility (but it's rather hard to sew more than two layers without bending needles

    yes!!! i saw a cool video with 3d printing on fabric, where they print a little bit, then lay the fabric down, then continue printing. you can make super cool scales and textured fabric perfect for cosplay with that technique!

    Miss Shay, you are reigniting my passion for sewing! I was a pro dressmaker and costumer for many years, and I love your channel! I haven’t had the time to sew clothing in years, and I miss it. Curtains and pillows just aren’t the same as fashion. The more I watch your vlogs, the more I want to sew again! My specialty was wedding gowns, and this and the gown for the Versailles ball were right up my alley. I need to dig trough some boxes and dust off my machines ❤❤❤ 🙏

The Billie ailish dress was fantastic and I really felt bad about cutting the dress but I love each and every thing about all the dresses you have made till now.     You could further cut the base dress to one uniform length and make it a really cute tea-length dress. That coloring would just make a beautiful like spring/summer tea party project.
