EDIT: This is starting to get seen by people outside of my community and some people seem to doubt the legitimacy of all of this. I assure you I drew these, and that I haven't drawn since doodling in class. I understand if you don't believe me - but it's important to remember I also tried to mainly just do illustrations these 30 days AND used reference for all of them. None of this is original. I've been continuing my journey and have been trying to be more lose and less perfect and let me tell you a lot of it is a mess. I'm no prodigy and I'm also no charlatan. I think I can just replicate certain references to an okay degree that might make it seem like I'm more advanced than I am but I assure you I'm not. My recent sketchbook is a lot of hot garbage. Super nervous sharing this but after all the nice comments I had gotten over on Twitter I thought I could share it with you all to see what you think and to hopefully pass on the inspiration to others! If you have any tips or ideas on how to improve in the next 100 days like I mentioned at the end of the video - let me know! Thanks so much for all your support and sorry for the sporadic uploads. Even the most seasoned illustrators and animators use references for their work. Heck, references are used constantly in all forms of art at all skill levels. You’re doing great, Fruit! Just keep at it!

No lie, this is maybe top 5 Mr Fruit videos of all time. I love the vulnerability and honesty. Christian is so easy to love and this is a perfect example of that. Christian, I'm old enough to be your father, so I'm just going to throw this out. I'm so proud of you. Keep doing what makes you happy.

@@patrickt101 we all struggle from time to time, it’s hard to keep going but eventually continuing on will pay off and you will get better. Even I still have room to improve, I remember I could barely draw hands and even though it’s still hard I was able to draw them better than before.

I have been taking long breaks from KZread and haven’t watched this channel in ages and Mr. Fruit is the first channel that I genuinely loved from so long ago from back in d1 infection, grenade dodgeball and juggernaut or Overwatch 1 gun game and it’s so refreshing to come back. I love how far Christian has come but like he’s still the same guy. It might be the different new content and style. It’s like one of the most warm feelings I’ve ever had. Love this guy, man 😁

Hi Fruit! Freelance artist myself here, very impressed with this!! You've already got a really good handle on values and line weight, it's really well done. And trust me, that's not "just copying from reference", that's a good eye. Also like other people have said, reference is so important, so it's awesome you're using it to practice. Since you asked for recommendations, I might recommend taking a look at Marc Brunet's channel, starting with his "Learn to draw from Lvl 0 to 100" vid from a few weeks ago. His vids helped me out a lot, and he's got a good sort of progression of skills to practice too. If you see this, hope that helps and thanks for the awesome vid! You've inspired me to pick up the pen and draw some more just for fun today too! Hope you have a great day!

My dad has a gift when it comes to art. He can sketch your face, draw backgrounds, shade/color all the above. He used to be a tattoo artist, and one of his favorite things to draw were superheroes/villains or anime characters. Seeing you draw Goku reminded me of his art. Thank you for sharing you did an excellent job!

As a casual (mostly digital) artist who struggles to draw from what I see (not sure why tbh, it’s just a thing with me lmao), I’d say you did very well! I think doodling without references just to see how it turns out could be a nice thing for you to do, when you start feeling more comfortable of course. Regardless, I wish you luck on your artistic endeavors, whatever you decide to do :)

What a fantastic and inspiring video! Showing real progress is so important. With social media we so often see the fantastic days but rarely if ever see the hard days. Fruit, these are great! I don't think I could freehand a trace that well in that amount of time, let alone a unique image from references. I haven't really touched my digital art pen in almost a month and have been regretting it. After watching this though, I think I know what I'm doing today! For your next 100 days, draw what you want to draw! Don't feel bad about copying something, it's a great way to learn. Maybe try taking two reference images and mixing them. Create a fusion, or just use one character's pose on another. And even when you try an original piece, use references! I've been at this for a few months and I couldn't do anything of value without references.

“We are our own worst critic” Your art is amazing and it doesn’t matter that you are looking at references. This video has inspired me to try something like this as I have some down time and I used to draw a lot when I was younger.

This was so good from the first page onward, very impressive stuff! Especially with the foreshortening and drawing hands/hair, which I've always struggled with aaalot. Hey, Fruit! Been following you since the Hawkmoon car commercial video long ago, I knew you were pretty good at art from your own efforts you've shown before (Draw My Life, Jackbox, etc.) and from the Dream Team mentioning it. I went to college specifically for Art and I gotta say your 30 days of drawing is incredibly impressive! The progress definitely shows and it's absolutely normal to have off days or some drawings where it just isn't working out. (I have a friend from college who has kept a piece of my work that I have deemed as my absolute worst, he's keeping it as a way to remind me that even at my worst, it was still something good and uses it to poke fun at me from time to time). It's as you said, "I didn't like it, but at least I did something that day." And that goes a long way towards the craft. I enjoyed your commentary about it and had a good laugh about how you discovered the sketchbook was too small as you continued to progres... it's the thing all artists come to realize: I need more paper space! I need a bigger desk! I need better supplies! :P Once you get into it, the tiny sketchbook just doesn't work as you've noted. When I started, my own Art professor snatched the mechanical pencil out of my hand and put a Woodless 2B in its place for me to draw with. I was too scared of the different kinds of pencils so I never moved away from the mechanical pencil... but the moment she changed it out for the Woodless 2B, it opened up a whole new world of what I could do with graphite and now I can't ever draw with a mechanical pencil again! Your commentary about not having the proper pencil types to get a dark enough value for shadows reminds me of that (A Woodless 6B would definitely help! Get the full spectrum: HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B, etc.). Your commentary about how you're noting you don't feel like you've made much progress and already having feelings of imposter syndrome... is perfectly normal, actually! We see our own time, effort, and mistakes we put into the work so a sense of progress gets lost because we can note all the similarities between each work. On that particular note, however, I did learn from my Art professor that Anime is a great art form, but it can be difficult to make progress in it since the style is so very concrete and "same-y" across all the types. That isn't a negative on Anime, just an observation. I started by drawing Anime myself! I have since worked on realism, as I greatly enjoy drawing the vast array of unique faces humanity has to offer, including all the asymmetrical features and odd elements that make a face unique to that person! I'm in an over-extended art block where I haven't been able to progress at all and I've felt really crummy about it, even questioning if I wanted to keep going. I heard you mention about the 30 day drawing challenge on the Nuzlock video and I was instantly curious, so I'm glad to see the video here! It's got me motivated somewhat to just pick up pencil and paper (I have... SO MANY sketchbooks!) and draw, not caring about getting it right. It's my biggest hurdle, since I've studied Art and want to make it into something... so my mind is constantly swarmed with, "No, that is the wrong proportions. No, that doesn't work. No, you gotta make sure you're maintaining proper hand technique and posture. No, that's not logically possible in realism work. No, this isn't impressive/good enough to show, so why bother?" ... Those nagging thoughts are just the inner critique trying to stop me before I begin. It has succeeded, but I can change that. This video helped me realize that, so thanks! TL;DR: Coming from an Art major myself, it's truly impressive work, Mr. Fruit! It's also helped me realize my inner critique was getting in the way of my own progress, stifling it completely, so I've got a little motivation now to break this stupid art block.

Never seen your vids/channel before, happy for you! There are a couple of base stats aka talent that some people have when it comes to visual arts. Clearly you have one for being able to output form from reference pretty well. This is nice to have and don’t let it bring you down! More importantly you’re having fun with this!

Don't feel bad about using references fruit. It's really good, even with references I cant make lines as straight or clean as what you did. Love to see your progress on this journey and looking forward to seeing how it evolves ❤

Dude you’re doing amaaaaazzing. Don’t feel bad at all, that’s the perfectionist in you (and most of us) that feels like everything has to be dope on day one- and honestly you were doing great, on day one already. But you’ve got a great attitude, preserving both flaws and strengths in your notebook. And just think about how much progress you’ll make day after day, week after week. You’re encouraging me to get busy arting again too. I’m an artist/writer but a lot of life stuff has just been getting in the way lately- but hey, like you said, just start putting that pen to some paper 🙏

i’ve been drawing quite a bit over the last two months. i basically only draw from memory, more cartoony style cause i used to draw a lot of comic books with my friends in elementary school. i’d recommend trying to develop your own style, that will help with feeling like your work is your own. maybe try to draw some fantastical beast and use your mistakes as a way to change up the creature, find your flow, your style. good luck with it.

This is really inspirational to watch. I'm starting to dabble a little more into inking & watercolor, and seeing the vulnerability and honesty and pride when you show your work really inspires me to put more effort into my own art and to be proud of it. And your illustrations really are good! I know it'd take me more than 30 days to draw a hand as well as you do or draw weighted lines and shade- you really have a good eye for that. A drawing discord or discord channel sounds awesome and I'm looking forward to a potential 100 day video or even just seeing more of your illustrations!

I haven't really used any sources to learn how to draw, like classes or videos, whatever it may be. I've only really just seen or imagined something I wanted to draw, and then figure out how to get there with my pen/pencil. Even so, something I've realized by observing anime or people irl is: sometimes the most natural things are weird, plain and simple. I find myself having to really think outside of the box for some of the shapes involved in drawing people, but in the end, they seem to make the piece feel whole. This was just something I wanted to share. I really love your videos! You're always so real and, honestly, comforting. In this video in particular, I loved seeing the improvement and listening to your thought process through the entire thing. You are, by far, my favorite content creator, so thank you for sharing yourself with the world!

My favorite part is how he starts off with a casual “yeah this is the first thing I’ve done in 10 years” and I couldn’t even as much get close to what he’s putting on the paper. Impressive good sir

When growing up we tend to put things we enjoy as kids/teenagers away because we think doing and enjoying these things "is childish and we need to grow up". I'm 34 now and just realized this recently myself and picked up drawing again, so if you're young and reading this please keep drawing it'll give you so much more enjoyment and will be a great way of winding down when you're busy with all the seriousness of being a boring adult.

This is amazing! Part of your old art muscles came back. I have been always told as I am also an artist; "You are your own worst critic". I like to look at it as to improve on the next one. Thank you for sharing your experience. This is so cool. I just love watching people improve or just do it for fun for themselves. Thank you for not scribbling or crossing out any of your amazing work. My heart did not clench in pain haha! Any art is art no matter what it looks like. Big inspiration.

Btw, it is insane (not that insane) to hear that you used to draw in class because it helped you focus. In my early days, that is exactly what I did, and my parents needed to have a talk with my teachers at the beginning of each school year to help them understand that I'm actually paying better attention if they let me draw during teaching. Apologies for the absolute essay, but man, do I get driven seeing art stuff, and as a professional, I'd love to lend my opinion to you. -Yes, the smaller sketchbook is probably not as good, but it is less daunting. I see a sort of "perfect or nothing" personality trait (seems familiar, so...lol), so a smaller sketchbook as a start is just fine, as is the case for copying from reference. I see you noticed limitations in the book's size already in the video! As a kid, I had a very similar sketchbook size, and I would copy Star Wars art, screenshots, and eventually I'd draw the action figures in my hands. It was...kind of my thing at the time. -Great to see you engaging in your first challenge for yourself; going for it with female forms. I too prefer drawing men with hard lines, easy anatomy, as I'm more familiar with a male body. The stuff you've got looks great, your self-critique notes are awesome to see you doing, and are honestly accurate (proportion notes, foreshortening, etc.). Amazing seeing you looking up tutorials on drawing with structure. You'll find structure will help you feel out the 3D form and put what is in your head onto the paper without the features getting jumbled. -I love to see your progress, pushing through things that must have made you some level of uncomfortable; drawing turning shapes, checking up on vids for the fundamentals, portraits, etc. -Your eye for color is nice, and if I may compare, better than mine, even via reference. I've got none to speak of, really. My eye is for shape, gesture, and motion, so now I'm a professional animator, haha. ____________ I recall the very first time I broke from drawing from reference. My sister (better artist than me at this time. I always wanted to be as good as her) said to me "you never draw faces, or hands, or from imagination." So essentially, taking it as a dare, I made a portrait from my head, with a hand up in front of the face, with a reflection in the visor. A simple kid-like drawing to be sure, LOTS of mistakes, and obvious lack of techniques that would have totally helped. But! It was my first foray into it, and I ended up getting best in show at the county fair. Feather in the hat for that. From there, I focused on hands and faces in my subjects, and I'm really happy I was pushed to do so. Great to have good people, even better people pushing you to be better. With a similarly "perfect or nothing" tendency, that trait tends to make me slow on change and improvement if I leave it up to myself sometimes. My pursuit of great strides in improvement and change need to be intentional, and work against my own comfort. ____________ 30 days of your journey reintroducing yourself to drawing has been spectacular to see! The progress is amazing, and....yes.... hyperfocus makes ADHD folks capable of intense progress in many things. Ask me how I know ;D. I used to have dreams, and insomnia, related to my mind racing over the next things I would draw. It has actually been a very long time since I've put pencil to paper for a sketch. Some things, from me to you, in regards to your progress in art: -Absolutely go for some full body art, no concentration on the faces. I see you love a portrait, which is great, and a focus in itself! I suggest however, try to draw a body, head to feet, specifically choose art with feet drawn on the ground. It can be tempting, and you may not know you're doing it, but it's EASIER to avoid addressing how a character stands on the ground. Even professional comic art, you'll notice from some artists (Examples in some X-Men and superhero comics), avoid drawing them down to the feet. They'll even cover them in low fog sometimes! -VERY IMPORTANT: Learn the drawing process. This will help you understand how a body is built, proportioned (Eyes go where on the face, a nose goes how far down before the mouth, the body of a tall person is such and such number of heads tall etc), and how it moves and where the bodyparts are going that lead you to a pose. That will help you inform yourself on anything that "looks weird" or "not what I see in this reference, but I don't know why." 1. Gesture: This is line of action; where the weight is going, where the attention, and where the force of your character is going. Are they standing with weight on one foot? Organically, the weight goes to one side more than the other, where is the compression? This process is fast, full of feeling, and not always anatomically accurate. Don't worry, you sort that out with the next step. NOTE: An important term to look into knowing and looking for in art is "contrapposto." Thank me later! 2. Structure: On top of your gesture lines, you build out your generic shapes to build form and volume. Reign in the gesture so you're not "off model." Head, ribcage, hips, shoulders, the volume of the thighs (ayo), legs, down to the feet etc. This is where it's important to draw to the feet, because the gesture and how you reign it in can tell you if your character is off balance. 3. Anatomy: You can put the general shapes of the character on the structure, which will build out their silhouette. Basic musculature, like the pecs, lats, how the core connects the ribcage to the pelvis, how the (anatomical name incoming, but it's my favorite muscle. It's in the neck) sternocleidomastoid informs the direction of the head, and how it connects the head to the chest/shoulders. 4. Details: The character's specific features, facial expression, clothes, armor, shading etc. When I learned this process, my art skill "under the hood" really exploded, as behind the artwork, I UNDERSTOOD what was happening, even with a copied picture. Being informed on what the body is doing will really help elevate you beyond relying on your eye to see if the art you've made looks like the art you're copying. And your eye is very good! -Lastly, I suggest you head towards drawing from imagination, and also attempt to break from anime stylization sometimes. I know it's scary! But if you look at yourself in a critiquing way, you may be learning yourself into a box if you stick with only anime and stylization. Being informed of realism can absolutely help you double your art back into anime (we all love anime), and know your forms even better. Same with copying art. You can start by drawing from life. Go out, do a few quick organic gestures of people walking by, then hold an image of them in your head (because they'll be gone) and try to capture the essence of what you saw with some structure. Just be ready to suck for a bit, haha. I know, this can be intensely daunting. I hate sucking at stuff, especially stuff I've come to think I'm good at. But it's good for learning, exponentially so. I'll stop the essay here. It's been a great watch, man. And good to see you exploring things that make you happy. Keep at it, you do still have a gift. I'll leave you with a quote my old teacher said to me, and I say it to everyone who tries to tell me this: "When people say to me, 'I can't draw,' I hear, 'I don't draw.'"

@@MRLuckyE85 That quote at the end is exactly me in a nutshell when it comes to artwork. I can’t draw because I simply don’t. (Yes, I read everything else. You clearly have attention to detail and convey a lot of nuance in how to improve.) It’s that simple. I even took an art class in high school and never officially looked at the grade I got for my final project. To this day, IDK what I got and I’ll never know, but that’s simply because I didn’t care one damn bit even though I did my best. I just threw it out because I was done with the class despite liking it to a degree and finding the tips useful at the time. (Art isn’t my college major nor a passion, but I do appreciate it regardless.) I knew I finished the class with a B+ or A- or so, but that’s it. Anyway, the point is I can totally see what your teacher meant.

As a big sketcher through highschool, I got what I considered “pretty good,” and was even voted best artist in my year, tied with a Japanese girl whose talent I admired and honestly was worried I wasn’t competitive with. However, the affirmation sometimes can limit, and coming out of there voted “best artist” wasn’t great for my first semesters in art college, kind of cruising through like I was still in highschool. I remember one of my teachers in drawing for character animation asking me to stay after class to have a talk. He said to me I have talent, he can see I’m good. I credit this person as the one who got me serious, and changed how I approach learning. By the end of my time in college, he said to me I am one of his students who has improved the most. He is, and always has been, one of my few most cherished and favorite teachers.

These are the kind of videos that need to be created and seen more. It was amazing how this video was a form of catharsis for you that you didn't initially plan to share, but I know it inspired me. I keep myself from drawing stuff so often because it "isn't productive" but I sketched through this entire video. Fruit, you inspire and I can't wait to see more of your artistic journey

hey Mr. Fruit! love the variety lately. One thing I haven't seen people mention is the time aspect. As an artist myself, I used to have a how to draw book that claimed with practice you could draw anything in a few hours or even a few seconds, and I used to think that was impossible. Lo and behold, after years of practice I found the author was right! You already started to see that in your 30 days, I imagine even the "bad" sketches you did at day 30 took way less time than they would have at day 1. So good job! Keep drawing what you like to draw! Though I challenge you to combine the skills you've been using to break down the references into shapes like the ones you've been drawing, that skill helped me a lot when trying to think of my own poses and such. Can't wait to see any further updates, good luck!

YES I LOVE THIS, EVERY PART OF THIS. If you do another drawing video, I wanna see that. I don’t draw NEARLY as much as I used to. I kind of just accepted that I didn’t really like it and it was just an extension of the things I really like. But seeing your sketches, and seeing all of your potential has activated a part of my brain that hasn’t been used in a long time. I might have to revisit some old drawings that I gave up on and try again. And I might be projecting when I say this, but I hope you keep drawing!!!

I dont have any tutorials or anything but i wanna share the tip that has helped me most recently! Keep making what you enjoy! I got really washed down by chasing fundamentals and anatomy studies, which is all good and helpful, but i completely lost the art and enjoyment of it. without passion there is no art. some people recommend a sort of 50/50 study versus fun. You are already doing so great and im excited to see more! and as everyone has said reference is normal and is just how art gets made, you are still learning the patterns and improving your ability to understand the shapes themselves, from here just keep doing your thing and as you wanna explore new things begin essentially mentally combining references, taking the pose and face from one thing and adding the hair and outfit from something else, sort of deal.

Dude, im about halfway through and this is enthralling. I'm so happy you took a chance with this, I don't watch these kinds of videos but seeing you do it really inspired me man. Being able to inspire someone surely has to feel good 😊

I used to draw all the time as well. Life kinda beat it out of me. I draw mostly anime girls (I mean who doesn't love anime tiddies, amirite?). I still do occasionally when the itch comes and goes. I have OCs that I MISS drawing. I want to draw my characters again, but that motivation to pick up the tablet pen is almost never there. And, like you, I don't draw dudes. To me, it's a little less fun drawing a dude. Ramblings aside, you are doing GREAT my guy. Please keep at it! Especially if you are having fun with it! EDIT: Watching further; there is NOTHING wrong with using references. That's how you learn anatomy, poses, perspective/foreshortening, etc I started drawing in middle school and I would draw stills from Dragonball Z, as I got older, I started doing my own things! We all start somewhere :)

Do you know Mr. Fruit? He has always had that drive in him to excel. He has always been his own harshest critic. His ambition and attention to detail naturally yields results of this level of excellence. We should all be proud! He believed it was possible; therefore, he did the work and simply DID IT! You should give it a try--never doubt yourself or others!

You should be so proud of this Fruit. The drawings are incredible. Such a nice passion project. Clear improvements throughout. I loved the inking ones most. And the fact that the Toriyama passing led to a day drawing DB was just the icing on the cake.

Mr Fruit, I have been watching for years and years- and the more you've opened up recently the more I've admired you so so much. I've struggled with depression my whole life, and one of my main issues I have is I really struggle to find the motivation to actually do the stuff I enjoy. I have loved drawing as long as I can remember - and I haven't drawn in years until 2023, and even then I only did 4 sketches. Even beyond the fact that you are genuinely skilled at art, you have made me really, really want to finally pick up a pencil and actually DO what I enjoy. Thank you, so much, for your videos, for your amazing content, and for being you. Keep drawing - do what you love because it's what you love, and for no other reason. Thank you ❤

I love to see that you’re diving into something that I love ad well and I just wanted to give you a heads up, that especially for digital art, some days you will feel like your art is not turning out the way you want it. But if you’re really serious about learning, the best thing to do in these situations is to push through the hardship! Great job fruit!

This was a great video! It's awesome to see you getting back into art! Gonna have to try harder to even draw for a few minutes every day. I want to improve, and seeing you do this was nice to remember that learning has its ups and downs. As long as you're passionate and willing to improve, that's all that matters. I took classes and drew for 10+ years growing up. I quit when I was 18 because I could never enjoy sitting down and drawing like this. I struggled a lot and was a perfectionist to a nauseating degree. It sucked all of the fun out of it. What you have is special Mr. Fruit, seriously. When I hear how much you enjoy drawing it inspires me, and the amount of talent and skill you display is absolutely insane. Also-using a reference is very very normal for all levels of art. Even when creating new drawings, artists usually take pictures or even use 3d models to base their drawings off of. All of the classes I have taken used references and models. The ability to replicate and expand upon an image is a hard earned skill and you are doing amazing! Keep it up for your own sake, do what you love and enjoy :) I’ve watched you for many many years with my brother, never commented before. Everything you create has helped to make our day better. I know fighting the YT algorithm has been a hard and mentally challenging battle, so please remember that your content is worth a lot more than numbers can ever reflect. 18:40 I highly recommend starting to buy non spiral sketchbooks! They don’t have the metal spiral so that way to can relax the side of your palm on it without worrying about the spiral getting in the way! They often also come with a rubber band to close it tight, it protects your drawings better and feels more secure!💚✨

I've always thought you're pretty good at drawing (as shown from Jackbox Party games and other games), and I can totally see your potential, especially with inking & shading! I can see how well you controlled your line weight, which quite amount of artists still struggled with. (Me included, despite drawing for more than 10 years) One tip I might suggest to try out is, to draw with reference for 1 day, and try to draw it from memory the next day! You might actually discover that you start to recall back on what you've learnt from studying the previous drawings you did, so you would fully understand what knowledge you've gain from referencing those drawings. As an art teacher and long-time viewer of this channel, I'm just very happy to see you learning a skill you enjoyed! And I'm excited to see your future progress for the 100 days video!

Mr. Fruit! Hamilton said it best. Pride is not the word im looking for. There is so much more inside me now. As someone who does the same as you and loves to draw but from reference. I always got discourgaed with myself and would quit over and over. even made myself buy a digital tablet to do digital art and dropped it. But I believe Im gonna dust off the ol thing and do my own challenge. Been following your content since the ol destiny montage days and well. Its been nice to grow along side you and your content. Battling my own demons and seeing you fighting has helped too. Keep it up! Find the little bit of joy in everything. Your failures are just stepping stones to doing better!

Me as Artists myself, I love seeing theses types of vids. Gives inspiration and motivation to draw!! CUBES draw cubes in different perspectives/angles so you get an idea how forms move in space.

As a long time fan, I try not to get too parasocial with it, but I'm super proud of all you did and sharing it with us! You sound super happy and I really love these. Obviously, I like the pieces you're proud of, but it's also super nice to see the pieces from days you struggled. My favorite is probably the elf just because I'm a sucker for 'em, but it'd be real tough to pick the best. I'd use a bunch of them as phone backgrounds for sure. It all makes me want to do more drawing of my own (I've leaned into writing far more than visual art). My own best pieces are almost all reference-based as well. So I’m all in for a discord channel. I feel inspired to do something similar now… wrote this before I heard you mention wanting to inspire others but you definitely did

This video, genuinely, is what I needed. Like you, I haven’t sat down and drawn anything outside of 2 pet commissions for family members in a VERY long time. I’ve been letting the idea of potentially not being satisfied with what I draw keep me from getting back to it. I’ve been very affected by Toriyama’s passing. Like many, Dragonball and his art style is what REALLY got me interested in the first place. I’ve had an idea in my head brewing for a tribute piece since he passed that Im now going to get started on this weekend. Watching you just go through the process and find sparks of genuine greatness has really woken me up. Please keep continuing with this because I would love to see more.

Even though I don't have the time anymore to watch every video, the ones like this are still gonna get my view eventually. They feel so warm and heartfelt. Great work, Mr Fruit. One of the better things about yourself is that even after all this years you can still clearly see the person beyond the camera.

Love it Fruit! Totally with you regarding the doodles and sketching during class. I just started drawing again too and am having a good time re-learning all the stuff I haven't used in years. Definitely don't feel imposter syndrome, references are great for coming up with your unique sketches.

I love that you went through it all the way. Day 30 only shows that theres always good and bad days but the improvement is amazing. My recomendation never stop enjoying it and you will always get better. You did amazing.

You’re an amazing artist. I’ve been doing art all my life, including professionally, and I gotta say, you’re great! If you want some tips; Keep practicing Don’t be nervous to ask for help. The art community is one of the most welcoming out there.

This is AMAZING! I don't think you realize how truly amazing and artistic you are to be able to look at a reference and draw it SO WELL. They look like the original pictures. And yeah, sometimes your proportions may be a little off or not perfect, but no onen can draw everything perfectly all the time. You are so amazing to be able to do this at all, let alone after not doing it since you were a kid. I hope that you can continue to draw (and share with us??). Even if you have off or bad days, those happen too.

Never be ashamed of references! They're SUPER important, and really help you ground your image, as well as help you think about shape and space for what you're drawing. :) Perfect is the enemy of good, which can put peole off from learning and practicing, so this challenge is a good way to push past that, and really great to see your progress and improvement. Your art is so good. You can really see how much you improved throught the 30 days. I know when i first did digital art it was very rough and hard for me and i wasnt really happy with it, but about the 4th drawing i started getting better and you could tell a big difference in my art. I would also love to see you make more art to just see how far you can go with it. Keep at it fruit

Fruit, you created some awesome pieces man. You broke into new experiences. Whether it was inking or colouring. You did awesome! Keep up the good job. By going through the motion you will get better and better, and soon enough you won't need reference material. It's a journey so enjoy that! Rome wasn't built in a day.
