Quite the contrary, the blindfold part has no scientific ground nor any scientifc value other than to play with people's nerve. It's so obvious how they deliberately said 'please touch Micelle's shoulder' lmao That's like the oldest trick in the book for manipulating people's mind. Yet they chose to do anyway it to scare her, again, for absolutely zero scientific value--zero evidences, zero controlled set, zero statistical analysis, the list goes on regarding how bad their experimental design was rather than deliberately doing it poorly so that the lack of evidences always makes it inconclusive. Instead of playing the output on speakers like other investigations, they played it on a headset and don't even attempt to record it as an evidences, or that the public can hear and judge for ourselves lol Seriously, it seems like everybody in the video has failed their highschool class on scientific method and scientific experimental design. I'm not saying ghosts cannot be real, but it's disappointing, and quite telling, how none of these investigations videos has been conducted with the same basic principles as an actual scientific experiment.

I really like how the ghost hunters themselves are sceptical of their own equipment, and they don't even try to convince Michelle into believing that ghosts are real. They explain how it could just be cables, other electronic devices in the area, or radio frequencies.

Yeah, I'm sure a lot of them make shows or other 'ghost' related content knowing they're making up and it's more of a fictional story-telling method instead of trying to claim that it's fact. So with that in mind, like anyone making fictional content, they're not gonna force you to believe in it 100%, just saying that they want it to make you think/feel

@@TheSeraphim_ except that's not how MOST ghost hunting youtubers act. They all act like they 100% for sure caught paranormal activity and most of the time it's complete bs. The worse channels are the channels that just happen to conveniently catch "paranormal" activity in every one of their videos. Now i know they need to make videos that will get people to watch them but they can't expect us to believe that they are getting stuff in every video. That's why I like watching Nukes Top 5 because he's actually skeptical of the videos he posts, unlike sir spooks and slapped ham that post obviously fake videos.

I'm so glad they taught Michelle the importance of showing respect to whatever entities are around. A lot of people who go ghost hunting while completely forgetting that ghosts were once people. They aren't items for people's amusement. And I highly doubt a person stuck in limbo wants to entertain teenagers looking for a spooky time.

I'm a paranormal investigaor, so it was great to see Michelle experience some paranormal activity! Sometimes when investigating, you can have absolutely nothing happen for hours, so Michelle got to experience some great stuff! Thank you for spreading some awareness of what ghost hunting is like.

@@gisela_oliveira The cost of equipment is definitely not pretty! Some paranormal investigators are able to make a living off of it, but that’s mainly if you have grown enough to have your own show. Ghost Adventures is an example of people who have been able to make a living off of what they do. Myself and the paranormal team that i’m on do not make enough money from investigating and holding events for it to be our job, but we are able to buy equipment with the money we get. For us currently it’s just a hobby that we all enjoy and experience together, but it would be a dream to be able to have it be our careers!

Im a doctor in the UK. Been one for over 10 years. I graduated medical school not believing in life after death. I gradually came to the realisation that there is something more around 2013. I had numerous experiences with an old friend of mine called Matt who had committed suicide. I often felt him around me, and it felt like him... his humour... his personality... but it was hard to determine if it was in my head like a warm memory of him, or if it was real. I remember feeling he was with me this one time late at night when I was driving alone in my car. And I said "bro... am I going crazy? is it actually you? or am I just talking to myself in my head? Is there any way you can prove to me you are real?"....... I got this feeling back from him that was like "ok, give me a sec" .....around 20 seconds passed, I was listening to the radio and all of a sudden I got really bad radio signal, I thought it was a deadzone, but it wouldnt come back. I flicked through next channel, it was static. Then the next channel, it was static. I quickly flicked through like 15 radio stations and all I got was static static static static "matthew!" static static static "alive!" static static static. It took a moment to sink in..... out of all the static the only two random words that somehow made it through were.... "Matthew.... alive".... two different words on two different radio stations. The coincidence of them happening together like that, and me not being able to hear any other words were just too great. I immediately came to an emergency stop in the road (it was 2am there were no cars around) and immediately broke down crying, this sudden gush of emotional realisation that all these experiences I had been having with Matt, but not just Matt... other relatives and deceased people... were in fact real encounters. I had the massive realisation that life after death really is true... and the overwhelming emotional response of that realisation, all the choices I had made in my life up until that point because I was trying to get the "most out of life" when in reality... life does continue, and I could feel it deep within me to be true. Part of my crying was the very real and immediate realisation that with this truth, I had seriously made some bad decisions up until that moment in my life, and I was instantly feeling sadness about a lot of it. I was literally sobbing and I couldnt believe Matt, who I could still feel was sitting in the passenger seat next to me, I couldnt see him, but could feel him say......"I THOUGHT YOU'D LIKE THAT!!"... and I could feel he was laughing... the cheek of him!! I was laughing-crying with him. It was Matt, the same Matt with the same personality I had known all the years I knew him when he was on Earth. Yea lol "on Earth"... suddenly people that had died...spirits... were people that had lived "on Earth", but now "in spirit world". This was the start of many, MANY experiences over the next few years. Many more equally bizarre and re-affirming, but none quite as emotional as the first. These days I am able to have full conversations with loved ones (and sometimes strangers) if I am open to it. Life is certainly interesting... and it definately does not end with the death of the physical body. The physical body is like a puppet we control, a very sophisticated one...(I mean, I should know, I've been a doctor over 10 years!!) which isnt perfect and can fail us (omg dont get me started lol)... but we do have a spirit body we operate, kinda like the one in our dreams. The Earth is just the physical location, but spirit life exists in many places... spheres of existence like layers built upon layers, like an onion. Some spirits have trouble moving into those next spheres because they cant leave behind Earthly possessions they've become attached to... like houses, land, jobs, people... and this is why we have developed the notion of "haunted houses", "haunted people"... or in this case... "haunted theatre!" Its understandable I guess, people not being able to let go. If I died today, I'd ghost a few of my close friends for sure. So yea, this episode is a really interesting step into opening our reality. I wish it wasnt filled with as much drama though, I felt the music and tension just adds to the "fear and mystery" around ghosts... when actually theres a very logical and easy to understand reason as to who, what and why ghosts are. Theres a lot of truth to be discovered and, can I say, re-discovered?.... I feel a lot of this used to be quite well known in ancient times. Anyway, Im rambling! If you have read all of this, let me know you've ever experienced any weird stuff like this. I dont check regularly but will come back to this one for sure as life after death is a passion of mine!

If you ever watched one of Buzzfeed Unsolved videos, they used something they call 'A Spirit Box'. What it does is it switches through multiple radio stations and a very fast rate that it actually helps ghosts form sentences and allows them to communicate. I believe that's how you managed to talk to your friend :)

I love your story Phil! You are a medium and sounds like your friend's communication with you after his death helped you become aware of your gifts. I'm a psychologist and also have mediumship abilities since I was a child. I can relate to receiving messages via radio, tv, electronics. Mediumship can begin after a near death experience, but also is genetic and can be passed down in families. I'm glad you have become open to your experiences... the universe is an amazing place!

I think it’s actually quite annoying how people see ghosts as malicious spirits. I am a bit of a skeptic, but if ghosts ARE real, why would they all be awful? Wouldn’t there be some who just hang around to watch their grandchildren grow up, to see their son get married, or to comfort a friend? Of course there may be some who just hang around to scare people, but that can’t be it.

I love how they are all sceptical and try to really keep it as scientific as possible. I also am a ghost sceptic but this shows a totally different point than all the entertainment "spooky" videos and shows. I think that there could definitely be more to it and that science cant explain everything already. This looks like so much more than a coincidence and honestly I would love to see future discoveries of scientists. :)

I and friends with Craig Owens’ son. Craig recently wrote a book about ghost hunting and the history of ghosts. Even though I don’t believe in the supernatural, It’s a really fascinating read!

Something like basic atomic physics, that teaches us that everything is made of atoms, and that it would be impossible for ghosts or whatever to exist, as they would need to be made of atoms too, in order to be able to react to the world around them to make sounds, move objects or interact with people. As as know that the air is 100% atoms, it would be quite noticeable if something like a ghost, orb, spirit or whatever displaced the atoms in the air for it to exist. But seeing as that has not happened, I know 100%, and will bet my life on our current understanding of physics that ghost and the supernatural do not exist. empty theatres are always very eerie, whether they are for live performance or films. they're liminal spaces, and they are places associated with life - theatres are spaces designed to be filled with people watching a spectacle, it innately feels wrong to be in one that is empty. not to mention the nature of live performance itself. i feel like i could write an entire essay on this lmao.

I work in a cinema. And I can tell you the most scary moment is when the theme music is set on horror and you’re cleaning at midnight and the lights go out because you’ve been cleaning for too long. Most of the times now I switch the music to something nice. But it makes for scary moments lol.

I have an odd belief around ghosts. Im skeptical, but I also don't want to do anything that I could only do if ghosts weren't actually real just in case they are real. Like say your mom wasn't around so you wanted to do something to break a rule but you don't do it just in case she arrived early or was just busy doing something and you forgot she was there. Something like that. Like if I was in a presumably hauted place I wouldn't yell and mock and curse at potentially nothing but air, but then it could also potentially be a spirit and have it haunt me out of spite for the rest of my life. Like yk, being skeptical but playing it safe

I used to be a complete skeptic when it came to paranormal activity but I've experienced things that are unexplainable once in this abandoned hospital from probably the 30s or 40s my dad and I were in charge of demolishing it. One of the occurrences was my dad crawling in the air duct was above the old operating room and he said it sounded like an operation was going on and when I asked him what did it sound like he said "there was just a bunch of talking and mumbling going on." The second one was when it was really dark probably around 8pm or so and I was standing around with a flash light just looking around at all of the shot needles that were all over the floor and parts of the ceiling that was hanging down from the years of deterioration when some kind of deep demonic voice commanded from the darkness at the end of the hallway to "GET OUT!!". I freaked out and ran as fast as I could to get out of there. I asked dad if there was some homeless person or something in there and he said no one could possibly be in there since a police officer would patrol it daily. That was one of the most frightening experiences I have ever experienced. The next day when I could see I walked down there to see if I could see anyone and it was around the morgue area where that voice shouted from. The last experience at the hospital was near the end of the demolition process where only part of the second floor remained as I was waiting in the dump truck while dad used a excavator to tear down the rest of the hospital, as he was raising the bucket to finish off the last part 3 or 4 doors started opening and slamming shut on a non windy day and keep in mind that these doors weigh around 40-50 pounds a piece. They were also opening and slamming at different times while the rest were still as could be. It was absolutely unbelievable and frightening.

Because there's nothing there to be scared of. It's the exact same as when the lights are on, it's not like you teleport to a warzone or something. Nothing's there

I am 100% a believer. I've had so many experiences with the paranormal that has happened to me over the years that it's impossible to just brush it off as nothing.

Ok if it wasnt ghosts. What was it. This is major proof and Michelle would tell us if it was staged. I dont really believe either but this has made believe in ghosts. Theres alot of proof like the pillar.

Whats there to be scared of? The room is the exact same as when the lights are on, you're not teleported into a warzone or something when they're turned off... Is it bugs landing on you or maybe hearing rats running around that scares you?

This was so entertaining yet so intense.

Michelle was so nice and cute to the ghosts. That surely was comforting for them.

I usually hate horror movies and things like that, but this was intriguing and definitely made me nervous for you!! You did a great job; I wouldn't have had the guts to do what you did!

@@CatMagglio Ultimately you cannot say that a "ghost presence" is not scientific. Science has yet to prove the existence of ghosts but as you said the equipment used here is very scientific and could potentially proof the existence of such entities. It is however difficult to prove something that you are unable to see even if that "entity" is communicating through such devices. At the end of the day it comes down to what you personally believe. I've had a few weird and literally unexplainable scenarios happen to me and I personally do believe that ghosts, or atleast something similiar, exist.

I love when people have brains and know enough about phones to learn what a good one is, from specs to price-performance and longevity. Plus, everyone uses Google, from photos, maps, to searching and chrome (+bookmarks), so just use an android and have it all synced up

Ive seen glowing white circles on my walls before. Twice, it was scary since there was nothing projecting on my wall. I believe it was a spirit of a relative.

Michele has done sooooo many challenges and this is the one she is scared at. Homegirl has been an ice skater, firefighter, marine, cop, FBI agent, EMT, lifeguard, and professional backflipper THIS one has her shook. I love it ♥️
