Cold Plunges have exploded in popularity, so I wanted to take a closer look into why. I made a goal to start a cold water immersion journey, submerging myself into cold water every day for a week with the final destination at a frozen lake. Can I withstand sub zero temperatures, and will I see any benefits to cold plunging? I find out in this video!

I've been following Buff Dudes since around 2015-2016 (I think) and I love that after all these years you guys still put out content that's informative, entertaining and motivational as hell
Buff Dudes are at that level where they could probably just phone it in and yet they still don’t. Everything they put out has that same level of knowledge, charm and humor as they did since day one. They’ve found a way to elevate their content without compromising their integrity. That’s what sets them apart. Thanks, Dudes.

what do you mean by that lol. this is their job. they are certainly not set for life financially if thats what you're implying
My favorite part about this video was that it wasn't just a wealthy guy showing off their 5k dollar cold plunge. It was cool seeing you going into the river and really challenging yourself
Absolutely thrilling and exhilarating to watch. The locations are breathtaking as well! I am so impressed with your resolve, B! And so proud! Love you guys! xo
Ive been doing this for about 3 months now. I live in Canada so a tub in the back yard works for me. I am impressed that you just dove right into it. I did 3 weeks of cold showers and worked up from 50F water down to 36F. It is warm out now now so it sits around 40-44F....still brutally cold. My morning routine consists of jumping in my hot tub for 15mins then 3 mins in the cold tub. I am 54 and just started lifting again thanks to this. It destroys inflammation in my joints letting me lift pain free. You guys are very inspirational and I love the way you present fitness. Keep up the great work and thank you for the push I need sometimes.

That’s so great! I’m only 28 and have some arthritis in my knees. I have been plunging for about a month now. How often do you do it? I’ve been doing it about 1-2 times per week.

Love the way this video was shot and edited. Great job guys.
I feel reinvigorated and healthier just watching you. Great job.
The last few videos have been bangers. But this one was absolutely awesome. Inspirational as hell!
This was pretty cool. I'm liking the out of the box content you guys are putting out.
For all the experiments that these guys are willing to do, they should have so many more followers. It’s amazing to watch and gives great ideas
My health journey started with you guys at the end of 2020 while living in Arizona. Now, I’m in the best shape of my life thanks in large part to your content! And I now live here in central/southern Oregon. That waterfall is one of my favorite to visit! Thanks for keeping up the great content!
Wow, great job pushing through, and I'm very glad to see Hudson in the end joining you for the final plunge. Bros sticking together.
Been here since day one 11 years ago this is in my top 3 vids you guys made . After 5 years out the gym only got back into it this week and this is motivation I needed Stay BUFF.
Great work! I’m a 4-5 times/week cold plunger myself and absolutely love watching you do this too! I’m also jealous of those fantastic locations too. Not sure if it’s been mentioned or not, but if you wear even a thin pair of neoprene booties, it does wonders on your time in the water. Always love your videos, keep up the great work!
Great video! Holy cow, tough as nails! Also damn you found some very beautiful scenery for your plunges!! As someone in an uglier state I sometimes forget we have places like that hah.
That was amazing. Loved seeing Hudson get involved. One of your best videos by far.
The quality of this video is truly outstanding. Thank you for the motivation and for sharing the experience. Stay Buff!

Seriously, they've really upped their game with the video quality.
Wow, this video is something else. Professional production!!! I got so much motivation to do anything in general that I can't express.. THANKS BUFF DUDES!!!!
Good for you brother! Way to get after it. Still around and still trying new things to make life better.
The whole video I was wondering, “where’s Hudson at?!?!” This ish is right up his alley 😂😂😂
Truly inspiring, great video, montage and of course pictures. I looking for a Wim Hof camp in Poland after watching your video! You’re the beast, keep it up! Cheers!
This is always the case but this video in particular is so inspiring. Thanks and have a Merry Christmas!
That dog is awesome! Center of the shot the whole time! Love it! Run to the fear and challenge yourself to overcome it. My first cold plunge in Lake Coeur d'Alene was a challenge. Today (1/10) our group did 4 minutes in 39 degree water at 6:30 A:M. It's a great way to start the day and it definitely helps with DOMS.
2:00 into this video and I’ve got to say, great job on the editing and producing of this video. The processing look and vibe is phenomenal. Going back to the vid now.
Great video, Brandon! I totally want to try that. Great meeting you at REI! Highlight o my week. Merry Christmas!
Cold 🥶 water therapy changed my life too! I never knew I had Raynaud's syndrome until I started cold plunging. If you have it, this will make it way worse!!! It has made my life very challenging in the Midwest winters. So be safe everyone and merry Christmas 🎁🎄
Fantastic video! Great editing and camera work, and I really enjoyed the adventure. You guys are leveling the channel up and I love it!
Incredible!! Congratulations!!
You are taking it to the next level with content, video quality and briliant ideas! Keep it up!
The video editing definitely has gotten more buff 💪. Great topic!
the pacing on this video is really great, was very fun to watch!
Wow that was one of the best buff dudes videos I’ve ever seen man I love you guys. Been watching for 10+ years now. You guys are legends
Great episode!
The cinematography was off-the charts. Great job.
That was some awesome scenery being shown. Thanks for the video.
I freakin’ love these guys!
Great video. Real inspiration. Fantastic job guys. Thank You for sharing
Cant wait for the next 12 week plan. Be my fourth book from you guys!
Ive been subscribed for a very long time. Still love your videos, so much fun, educational and entertaining 😊
I was feeling cold all the time(like my grandma did) so I started shoveling snow/ brushing off the car in my underwear at 5 in the morning up here in Alberta, during the peak of our winter. It was -30c the first morning I did this but it worked. I reasonable conquered the cold.
Inspirational video, I really like the quality of the picture from the FX3 (I assume it's the FX3), as a fan from Europe I appreciate that you showed the water temperature in F°/C°. Happy Holidays!
honestly these videos are really good. both or your guys videos I mean. awesome
Great video guys! Keep on making great content, really enjoyable watch and very inspiring.
This was cool. Merry Christmas Buff Dudes!
Such a cool video, thanks guys!
Fantastic video! Loved the cinematography and theme
Beautiful video! Well done!
Really good video, the editing and camera work was exceptional in this one!
You guys, the cinematography and color grading is straight 🔥 you guys are killing it!
I've been doing cold water immersion for years. When I started doing it I noticed how well my body would recover from work. I never even bothered to look it up to see if it was actually beneficial or not because I enjoyed the way I felt after. People used to look at me like I was crazy while I would chip away at the ice to make a hole all while being shirtless in swimming trunks. Seems like more and more people are coming around to the idea of cold immersion. Shout out to my fellow polar plungers in the Adirondacks.
Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge of the Cold Plunge challenge. Im definitely going to try it as my bucket list for the new year. 😎💪👍❄️😇
it's nice to get these longer ones sometimes. and even a blog style of daily stuff would be good content. :) #bufflife
Great video! You need a lot of willpower and guts to do this kind of thing! Well done!
this is great. i can be somewhat timid in taking risks and doing new things and this does help for sure!
Awesome video! That were some truly Exhilarating views. Now I am getting that itch to try this too.
I love this. The Oregon coast is wild. I make sure to jump into the ocean every time I visit
Amazing! keep up the good work!💪
Really enjoyed this video
One of the first channels that got me started in lifting and taught me proper form. Glad to see they're still pushing out quality content. That said, 37F is hardcore AF. Health benefits occur 50F-59F for a minimum of 11 minutes per week. That's all that's needed. Caveat to anyone watching: don't do a lake plunge unless you have people watching you, because you can seize up and drown if you have a bad reaction or your muscles freeze up. Also if you have any un/diagnosed heart conditions you can and will die from cold shock in 30-40f. One lady died from 50F for 3 minutes. Be careful is all. I ice plunge in my ice pod every day. I'm neurotic AF, and it helps calm my mind SO much. I notice a profound increase in the amount of control I have over my crazy brain. Stress does not hit as hard. And that's just at 50F. Can't wait to experience the 40s and 30s! Stay buff!
So Hudson did it without a full week of cold plunging. He’s tough.
Great vid, man, thanks for putting it together 💪
Your video definitely maturing - really well done
Wow, the production value on this video was great.
This was a nice video. Beautiful scenery and great concept! Stay buff dudes
I think this is best phase of your life man. You look so healthy and good looking. I'm happy for you. Keep going.
Man, the quality of the video is insane, good job!
This video was a work of art and inspirational. I've been taking cold showers for almost 8 years and I'm at the point where a hot shower just doesn't feel right. Cold plunges in nature & ice baths are still tough for me... This video makes me want to run down to the nearest drainage pond and jump in (LOL). Cheers Buff Bros...
Love the buff dudes
One my favorite videos to date.
Damn this episode so thriling, you are truly the goat👏👏🙌
love you big brothers and merry christmas
Great Video!
Best video!! On week 2 daily plunges. Hooked…..
That was awesome 🤙🏼
DOMS kicks my ass the older I become. You are awesome for doing this. I always wondered about this thing. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.💪🏻
Great video!
I was on the fence about this cold plunge stuff,.... but now the buff dudes have done it and I'm thinking I better give it a shot too
The quality of your videos 🤩 awesome edit
Badass. Also, appreciate the Dec. 25th post! Merry Christmas!
Always inspirational ☃❄
Good job. I would try this in the future. I've been doing cold showers for about 2 years, and even that I've noticed being more awake during the day, and able to stand cold temperatures better. Very invigorating in the morning.

just be careful. after 50 years of age, teperature-change induced cardiac arrest (not heart attack, arrest) risk soars insanely high, regardless of your fitness level.
the quality of this video is insane. I got to give this a try! hell yeah!
Love the format "Better Understanding" Then taking and testing "methods" of exercises both physical and mental.
Awesome job!
Fantastic video lads! Stay Buff!
The quality of this video is top tier!!
Dudes, great video!
Another great video buff dudes 💪🏼

Fantastic video
You guys are a bunch of ballers. So inspirational. Thanks for making great content.
I heard you on the ultimate sinner on Ozzys boneyard. That was a great show so I decided to subscribe to your channel.
Awesome video ❤
Love Toketee. Hopefully you hit the hotsprngs while you were there. Love the content.
amazing video!
Awesome you were able to do 32 degrees, theirs other types of cold (might as well add in heat0 exposure to give a whirl... Keltie o'conner ran through a month of cold exposure and discovered cryo was the way to go for her, each person has their own way of doing things but theirs various forms you should try
