I was confused for a moment why metal chairs wouldn't be good outside, but then I relaised while they fulfill my outdoor requirement of being waterproof and withstanding stormy weather, they do not fit Simsie's requirement of not burning your skin in the Florida sun.

​@@zareplayssims For me I always need a roomba. I don't have a roomba right now but my friend does have one and god is it useful. Even though they don't do much in game I still just need them. I also always use the naming feature to name the roomba Toby because why not. Edit: I also have autism so I get attached to objects very easily so that probably feeds into my need for a roomba named Toby in the sims lmao

just so you know if you use move objects to put the separate stove and oven onto one counter they still cook on that counter!! really useful for small spaces

those cube houses make me dizzy! living in one would be like living in an MC Escher painting

I'm Autistic and I have bad balance from fluid in my ears from allergies, so I depend a lot on vision to know what's upright, and these angles are definitely bad for many of us. It would be like walking in a funhouse with tilted floors for me.

A fun fact about the cube houses, they are also in one other city in the Netherlands, Helmond has the same houses build by the same architect. People have their own front door in the pillar, with stairs leading to their house and storage space for one or two bikes😁

In case you haven't seen it, you should totally go see the (huge) public artwork known as Gnome Buttplug (Kabouter Buttplug). The city councel agreed on it because they truly believed the gnome was holding a christmas tree, but even the artist himself explained that he was first and foremost inspired by the shapes of sex toys.

No worries, I grew up in Rotterdam and I think the cube houses are also really really weird, and are also one of the first things I think about when picturing the city

I literally lived like 10 minutes away from these cube houses in Rotterdam, right near Blaak! I lived there while I was studying at Erasmus University.

Definitely a fun build. I actually said "ooh" when you tested the mosquito stuff wallpaper in the living room -- I think that would have looked neat!

As a person living in the Netherlands, I can say that this house is very Dutch for me 😂 Not saying that all houses are like this, but strange small spaces and angles is definitely a thing here

i love the yellow and different vibes! but i wish youd just go for single homes sometimes, have a hobby room or office that could be converted down the like, instead of always kids rooms. itd be super fun to see, dont feel afraid to go for it sometimes when you consider it! 🥰

@@janewatson3715 tbh they look crazier from the outside than they are from the inside! the floors aren't tilted, much to my dismay. The windows are in odd places and the ceiling is uneven, but besides that, they look rather normal. But I also was there only during the night at a party so the illusion might be different if you're inside there by day!

Stayed in one of these during a school vacation and let me tell you. It gets HOT in there. Since the windows are weirdly placed they don't open wide so there came a musty smell after 2 days. For the rest it was quite the experience !

Blue and yellow are complimentary colors so never feel weird about having them as a color scheme. I recommend getting a pocket color wheel or having a little one up on a screen! I use mine for everything 😂 this build turned out super cute !

Honestly these more unique and modern build of yours are my favorite. You say you're not good at them but I COMPLETELY disagree they always turn out so good!

You know one thing I've always wanted to build is a summer house or a summer palace. A place where rich Sims go during the summer and have they're vacation.

I'd love to see you do another build inspired by something you saw on your trip! I think if you made a vlog (like you talked about) it could be a good way to promote that! Either way it sounds fun and I hope your trip is going well :)

You can use the dream home decorator stove as a regular counter so you dont have to have anymore counter space if that makes sense.Hope that helps!

if you put the oven and the top in the same counter the oven isn't functional, the have to be in separated counters to be functional

Oh my god I got the notification and I thought it said “cube horse”, so all day I’ve just been like “ummm good luck with that ig”

Heyy, I've noticed, that you, in your builds, like to find one color and then just stick to it throughout. I think it would be kinda funny, and also a good challenge for you, to do a build, where you can only use a color in a room once. So for example, if you used a yellow bed, you can't have anything else be yellow in that particular room.

I can't wait to get this off the gallery and put my own touches on it. I have lots of ideas.

My only suggestion would be to have a bonsai tree somewhere. Can be a skill building cube.

I worked for the hostel organisation that has a hostel in the cube houses so stayed in them, they are also very weird on the i side hahaha (I myself worked at a location in a brick castle)

I love it! I build many styles of buildings, but I could use some more practice on my cubes.

There's actually a hotel inside these cubes. I've stayed in these during a school trip and let me tell you the rooms were absolutely tiny and miserable
