I’d love to see you review that! I’m no expert, a DIY like most of us, but I think the consistency of the gel and acetone ratio is why it didn’t work. It was just too watery. Can’t wait to see the video ♥️

Me right now, I just did polygel over nail tip for the first time and tried the French technique with it...IT WAS SO HARD AND FOR WHAT??? MY NAILS LOOK LIKE meh....buuuuttt I did come up with a really pretty light blue and gold mix omg it's sooo pretty

Airbrushing nail art was HUUUGE in the 90s & very early 2000s. French manicures used to be airbrushed more often than the traditional way. All kinds of stencils were used...colors....white....it would be cool to see it come back.

Oh my gosh I remember when they used to do airbrushing like Wayback in the day. I am a nail tech and I got my license in 94. An airbrush she was like this new thing it was amazing. LOL

I remember trying airbrush for the first time. Made me NUTS! 😅 Finally got it down. My customers loved it.

I really love your personality and the way you felt defeated but the fact that u kept going! That to me was awesome! Never give up! The nails turned out pretty especially with the airbrush being a fail but you gotta love the bling! Bling fixes everything!! Love this set and I really love your vibes that u give! Thank u!

Seriously! I am happy that footage was kept in the video because that's part of the nail world which is typically left out. Its helpful to see the nails when they're not prettied-up too.

My aunts been doing airbrush on nails for almost 30 years. Her tip to me was to practice in a color book to get your distance and spray down.

Glitter and crystals can save anything ❤️🥰 lol but seriously, i love that you shared this learning moment!! I see so many beautiful nails on youtube and feel so defeated when mine don’t come out the way i hoped.. but i try and remember that every pro was once a beginner too! And you create such beautiful nails; I would love to see you use the airbrush again in more future videos to see your growth and learning and creativity! ❤️❤️ it would be a really fun journey to go on with you!

I've been doing nails professionally for 20 years and I just recently bought an airbrush. It took me HOURS messing with it before I even kind of got the hang of it! I hope you've kept trying and got it figured out. For me the hardest part is keeping it unclogged. Ugh! Great video lady. Your nails looked fabulous!

You persevered long after I would have. I’d have had a temper tantrum after I got polish all over my hand lol. Wonder if you can cut the stencil into smaller pieces so that it’s easier to clip it snug around your finger? You look gorgeous as always, that green eyeshadow look is stunning!

I remember back in late 90s early 2000s when airbrush nails was so popular. I loved when my nail tech did all the cool airbrush designs.

I suggest using liquid latex around the nails and using decals that adhere to the nail instead of the right plastic stencils. Also, do some tests to see which ratio to use as a default when mixing polish:acetone. Then you can change it depending on if you need it thinner or need more pigment, but it's always good to have a starting place

Don't give up! You can use contact paper or Cricuit stencil vinyl to make stencils. Use liquid acrylic paint instead of polish. You got this!

I remember air brush used to be a popular way to get ur nails done in the 90’s. I still remember getting the French tip then my fave dark blue nails with a baby blue tiger stripe they were💣💣💣! If you can perfect the technique there’s endless options ❤️❤️❤️

You did great 😊 and brought back memories of cheaper yet stylish nail designs , I remember getting a few done 15 years ago back in New York City , the Asian nail techs used stick on stencils before spraying and sealed with a gel top coat ,my fave were the spade ♠️ shapes on red and white nails and butterflies on pink nails ,you were lucky to check other nail salons to see if they had characters like Mickey Mouse and they are buildable designs ! 😀 definitely heading to amazon to order a kit 😎

Hey, if you ever have an event and have like one nail that needs healing but don’t want to go out with a missing nail, they have these nail press on stickers on amazon, that hold well but come off with warm water easily. So you could use it for the event or occasion then go home soak in warm water and get back to letting that nail heal. Just an idea, because I thought they were exciting upon discovery and their perfect for one time or short time uses. When you were ready to give up- I was yelling in my head, “No, get your husband! He can figure it out!” Lol that’s what I always do with machines and stuff. When all else fails- get the hubby. Lol bling fixes everything. Love the shimmer ombré- definitely a win!

When it comes to air brushing you can you acrylic paint (like art paint). Much easier and doesn’t clog my airbrush. Easy clean up too!

Tip on the stencil there's a spray adhesive that you can get to hold it down temporarily its tacky it won't glue it down permanently

You still got it! You did an amazing job on that acrylic ombré. I only use air brush paint in my air gun. I found it was a lot of cleaning and care, so I don’t pull it out much. It takes a load of time and practice. Use of the stencils really takes an imagination, watch a lot of air brush nail art videos. The only thing I’ve accomplished is the French fade/ ombré. All I wanted to learn was how to turn one ON and make polish come out of it !! I've been doing my own acrylics for years and make all my own colors. Airbrushing seems like a natural next step.
